Shane and Sia Barbi, aka the Barbi Twins, are helping spread the word that there weren't only people displaced by the wildfires that swept through Southern California this week -- there were pets, too.
On their website, www.thekittyliberationfront.org, the sisters have posted the contact information for dozens of animal shelters all across the area, as well as phone numbers for various VCA Animal Hospitals -- all of which are "no-kill" organizations. The cat in the above photo is actually a brown tabby the sisters found after the fire -- with no chip and no collar. All together now, "Awwwwwwww."
The models-turned-animal activists are coordinating some rescue efforts, calling for volunteers and the fostering of injured or lost animals. They are even working on a fundraiser tentatively scheduled for December 22. Shane tells TMZ, "People love animals like their family."

The Barbi Twins have filed a lawsuit claiming they were duped by a director into appearing in a documentary, but not all the wig-wearing, pancaked he-shes involved with the production are suing ... yet!
The hilarious Greg Scarnici was hired by "Your Mommy Kills Animals" director Curt Johnson to write, record and direct a music video to run during the doc's closing credits. Johnson had seen Scarnici's hysterical Beyonce and Fergie viral video parodies and contacted the Brooklyn actor/writer/director to make a satiric clip for his animal rights film. The anti-furgalicious result has to be seen to be believed!

Shane and Sia Barbi (aka "The Barbi Twins") have filed a lawsuit claiming they were duped by an alleged con man into using their celeb connections to make the animal rights film, "Your Mommy Kills Animals." Don't play with Barbis!
The twins allege that Curt Johnson lied about being a Oscar winner, and that Daily Variety (which the Barbis are also suing), printed a story about how he sealed a $30 million film deal. They say in reality, Curt is just "selling T-shirts and living in a guest house in exchange for gardening services."
According to the lawsuit, Curt claimed to have a "close relationship" with Lindsay Lohan and her mom Dina, but that was also "bogus." To top it all off, Johnson created false reviews of the film, using celebrities Clint Eastwood, Stan Lee and Larry Flynt.
The Barbis are seeking $1 million in damages. Don't pull their heads off!

Barbi Twins Shane and Sia, along with pals Daniel DiCriscio and Chyna Doll joined an animal rights protest in LA on Friday in support of stricter pet food laws. It was a wacky menagerie hoping to protect their precious pooches.
Dressed, as they explained, as dead black cats because it was Friday the 13th and they wanted to represent "the unlucky animals that died," Shane and Sia talked about the death of their beloved pet kitty who fell ill from poisoned pet food, and encouraged pet lovers to think more about what they feed their Fidos.

The bodaciously-bosomed Barbi twins claim their beloved kitty was killed in the contaminated pet food mess -- and now they're busting out in front of a class action lawsuit against some of the world's biggest pet food manufacturers. Meow!
The Playboy Playmates turned animal rights activists, Shane and Sia, along with Shane's actor husband Ken Wahl, allege in a suit filed this week in Los Angeles County Court, that Menu Foods, Purina, Nutro and Del Monte foods are responsible for the death of their cat, Cutest, and thousands of other cats and dogs nationwide. Menu Foods recalled 60 million cans and pouches of pet food in March, after discovering a chemical in their food was found to have caused kidney damage in cats and dogs.
The Barbi twins are asking for unspecified damages to cover veterinary bills, attorneys' fees and other costs ... and "burial and disposal costs."

Cops were forced to restrain angry animal rights activists during a protest led by Chyna Doll and the Barbi twins earlier today.
After declaring that certain UCLA psychologists "needed to get their asses kicked" for testing on monkeys, Chyna led an impassioned mob to the front door of the university's Neuropsychiatric Institute. As two men in white lab coats emerged from the building, the activists launched into a loud tirade.
As one of the men attempted to push a blaring bullhorn away from his ear, an enraged protester jumped off the stairs, screamed obscenities and attempted to headbutt him. Cops quickly broke up the charged situation, and the protest continued.
No one was injured. No comment from the monkeys.
