Jungle Girl Bindi Irwin cheerily posed for a pic with a bronze sculpture depicting her late father, Croc Hunter Steve Irwin, as the rest of his family takes up the work of wrestling crocodiles and presenting wildlife for education and amusement.

A statue of the Irwin family -- including little Bobby, widow Terri and their deceased dog, Sui, -- was unveiled today at the Australia Zoo by the surviving Irwin family and Steve's father, also named Bob. November 15 was named "Steve Irwin Day" at the zoo. Crocs rule!
Bindi also took the opportunity to unveil her wild crimped hairdo.

A smiley Bindi Irwin, 8, has taken over the the family business.
The precocious daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin and wife Terri announced the upcoming "Bindi: Jungle Girl" series that will continue her father's work, saying, "The best part, I get to be with all my animal friends!"
Appearing in a tree house at the Australia Zoo, Terri said, "I think he would have said `Crikey mate, I couldn't wait for Bindi to take over.'" Answering criticism that it's too soon after Steve's death for Bindi to be back in the spotlight, mom said, "Bindi has been filming with us since she first hatched, it was a natural progression for her to be doing her own shows."
Steve Irwin died while diving nine months ago, when a stingray barb pierced his heart off the coast of Australia. The show launches stateside June 8.

David Beckham isn't the only foreign star taking over the States. America's favorite crocodile hunter in-training, eight-year-old Bindi Irwin (with mom Terri and brother Bob in tow) brought her brand of adorable animal husbandry to "Larry King Live" on Thursday.

Bindi's whirlwind tour has already seen her grace the couches of Jay Leno and Ellen DeGeneres, with a stop on David Letterman's to follow next week. This little gal gets around!
On Sunday, Bindi will make her U.S. stage debut in a concert at L.A.'s Ahmanson Theatre, along with her backup dancers, The Crocmen, and children's music supergroup The Wiggles. With Britney Spears' career having gone down under, it looks like we may have found a new Pop Princess!

The late Crocodile Hunter's wife and precocious daughter are stateside on a promotional tour, popping up this week on the couches of Jay Leno and Ellen DeGeneres.
Though Terri Irwin broke into tears on "The Tonight Show" last night when talking about super-daughter Bindi, the Crocodile Huntress gracefully recovered -- joking about putting a used tissue back into the box. "It's like double-dipping!" said Terri, "Once it touches your nose you're not supposed to put it back."
In an interview airing on Friday's "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," hunter-with-training-wheels Bindi admits, "I just love animals ...I want him [father Steve] to be proud of me." *sniff*

Just three months since the death of her father, Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter's eight-year-old daughter, Bindi, says she's "...doing pretty good. We're battlin' on."
In an interview with "Good Morning America," the ever-adorable Bindi, with mom Terri at her side, revealed that snakes are her favorite animal. "They're really nice creatures once you get to know them." We'll take your word for it, Bin.
As for critics who think that Bindi is too young to be around wildlife, Terri says that the pigtailed princess would rather ride elephants than be cooped up in suburbia. The thought of living in an apartment with a goldfish made Bindi chime in, "I don't think I could cope." No Nemo fan, she.
Bindi, who called Steve "the best dad in the world," is continuing her father's work by bringing her animal-loving tour to the U.S. next month. Hannah Montana, watch out!

Little Bob Irwin had a birthday to remember. Bob, made famous by a close call with a crocodile when he was a few months old, was all smiles as family, friends and fans gathered to celebrate.

The son of the late Crocodile Hunter celebrated his third birthday yesterday, his first without daddy. The party, which included rides, face painting and games, was held at Australia Zoo -- where entry was free for children all day.
Little Bob was joined by big sister Bindi and mom Terri as he blew out the candles on a giant Thomas the Tank Engine cake, while a crowd of thousands sang Happy Birthday to the khaki-clad tot.

A month after her father's death, eight-year-old Bindi Irwin is already back to work, filming her own documentary.
"Bindi, The Jungle Girl," a 26-part documentary slated for a January debut on the Discovery Channel, shows the Crocodile Hunter's daughter is ready to step into her dad's shoes. Bindi appeared comfortable and composed while filming scenes with a huge bison for the program. The cutie was all smiles for an interview with the TV show "Australian Story" for her first sit-down interview since Steve Irwin was killed by a stingray in September.
Since her father's death, Bindi has remained a positive fixture in the spotlight. She delivered a moving reading to her late father at his memorial service and just last week presenting an award on his behalf at the Australian Kids' Choice Awards.
Though it may seem like too much too soon, family friend and producer John Stainton tells the TV program, "She is very used to having a crew around ... they are most professional family I've ever worked with. Little Bindi, she is just a chip off the old block."
Bindi is also reportedly set to star in a fitness DVD which boasts her singing and dancing debut.

Less than a month after the Crocodile Hunter's memorial service, Terri Irwin and daughter Bindi appear to be moving forward -- by attending the Nickelodeon Australian Kids' Choice Awards.
The two were all smiles as they walked the "orange carpet" in their Australia Zoo outfits, filling in for the late Steve Irwin, who was scheduled to present the "Fave Aussie" award before his death last month.
Bindi even got in on the slime action -- after giving the award to Guy Sebastian, the singer hugged the little presenter, covering her with the green gunk.

Just weeks after reports claim a cyber-squatter snatched up the rights to a website named after Steve Irwin's daughter, a close friend to the Crocodile Hunter's family has apparently set things right.
Shortly following Irwin's tragic death, Wayne Smith, a former volunteer at the wildlife enthusiast's beloved Australian Zoo, bought the website BindiIrwin.com, claiming he was intending to dedicate the site to the grieving 8-year-old. But instead of tributes or poems, the site reportedly contained links to several anti-Israel websites.
Now, after facing tons of harsh criticism, it seems the cyber-wrongs have finally been righted, as Steve's friend and former manager John Stainton has officially obtained ownership of the site. Stainton has since programmed the site to automatically redirect visitors to the official website for the Australia Zoo.
Calls to John Stainton were not immediately returned.
UPDATE: TMZ has obtained a statement from Wayne Smith claiming that once he purchased bindiirwin.com, he redirected the site to a remotely hosted non-profit message board. "I did have a political forum at the board which of course contained controversial topics but I closed it. I realised [sic] that it would be in poor taste to have politics and wildlife discussions together. "
