A former bodyguard for Britney Spears just filed a lawsuit against her, saying he sustained physical injuries while working at her old digs at the Summit in Los Angeles.
According to the docs, Kerry Vine says Spears "negligently operated her home and business thereby causing injuries to [him]" and says the security firm he worked for forced him to perform duties that put him in harm's way.
UPDATE 7:10 PT ET Get this!!! A source involved in the situation tells us ... Vine worked at Britney's home a grand total of 3 days. On the last day he volunteered to move a small table with a few other guys. He called in sick the next day, complaining of shoulder pain.

Sometimes a photo really does say it all: here's Kate Gosselin, her kids, and her friendly bodyguard, Steve Neild, casually watching the rear.
A local radio DJ said he spotted Kate and Steve holding hands last week -- but Steve was ninth in line to get that kinda treatment while the whole family -- minus Jon -- was at a park in Penn. yesterday.

Her former bodyguard has settled a lawsuit he filed against her for back wages. David Kim alleged Lohan owed him more than $55,000 for doing fun things like coordinating the starlet's security efforts, and driving her and her posse to events.
He claimed he was never paid, and actually lost about $10,000 in wages for mileage, tipping valets and hiring extra security.
Sure, times are tough -- but can't the Mouse House spring for a few bodyguards for two of its biggest stars!? Not only are Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens in one of the fall's biggest flicks, but the dude was accosted by a creepy old man barely 24 hours ago -- so why the non-existent security at LAX?
Another one of Brit's old dancers is standing behind the besieged mother of two. His name is TJ, and rhinestones are his game! Who needs PR when you've got friends like this?!
The glittery former back-up dancer/tried-to-turn-pop-sensation was spotted last night in the Thirty Mile Zone. When asked about Brit and wild allegations leveled by her former bodyguard, "Fat Tony," TJ said, "Tony's lying."
UPDATE: According to a press release issued by the Las Vegas P.D. and obtained by TMZ, "Britney also filed a crime report on behalf of her minor child." In the report, Britney claims the photog "battered both Mr. Camera and Ms. Spears' child, who was at that time being held by the security officer." The Wynn also issued a release stating Spears "elected to leave the resort on Thursday afternoon, July 26, of her own accord." The had no comment beyond that.
Las Vegas police cited Britney's bodyguard last night in Las Vegas, for putting the smackdown on a photographer from Flynet agency.
The bodyguard, Julio Camera, nicknamed J.C., allegedly attacked the photog from behind after the lensman accidentally bumped Brit's older son, Sean. J.C. is accused of laying the beating on him while he was on the ground, as Wynn Hotel personnel rushed to pull the overzealous hire-a-thug off the lensman.
The photog was treated for his injuries and charges will likely be filed.
There was pushing, there was shoving, there was flower crushing -- all because of Britney Spears.
Moments ago, all hell broke loose outside of Lisa Kline clothing store in Beverly Hills, as Britney's bodyguard desperately tried to clear a path from her car to the store. According to several on-scene witnesses, a gang of overzealous photogs went wild trying to score a shot of Spears as she bobbed, and, ahem, weaved her way into the place. Witnesses claim that the bodyguard and sea of photogs violently pushed back and forth as Britney and her new assistant tried to dash inside.
TMZ was told that LAPD was called, but the crazy scene had already calmed down before they arrived. Cops checked in with Spears at her next stop. No one was reported injured, but there were definitely a few pricey casualties -- including a $4,000 flower bed in front of the store, which was crushed during the melee, and the bodyguard's shirt was torn.
Inside the store, Britney didn't seem to be bothered by the mess. Sources told us that she was, "a delight ... she was very sweet."
Afterward, the chaos continued as Britney tried to get back to her car. Brit's massive bodyguard plowed a path to her Benz, while the gargantuan beast roared for snappers to move. They did.
A helpless Britney Spears could only watch in open-mouthed horror as her enormous bodyguard worsened a hostile situation by taunting paparazzi outside a Midtown NYC office building. As Brit's behemoth protector escorted the pop queen into a building, an angry photog stationed outside accused him of intentionally knocking into his camera. As a perplexed Britney waited a few feet away, the enraged photog began shouting racial slurs and threats at the gargantuan bodyguard, who responded by blowing a kiss. As the insults continued, the fed up bodyguard reached his breaking point and walked threateningly toward the photog. Just as the situation was about to turn violent, the giant stopped, turned away and went back to Britney.
A short while later, Britney, the elephantine bodyguard and the rest of her posse left the building -- escorted by two NYPD officers.
