Here's the fourth guy in Bon Jovi at a Broadway opening on Monday (left) -- and the Divine Miss M, Bette Midler, back in 1979 around the time "The Rose" was in theaters (right).

Only one of them still rocks this hair 'do.
We're just sayin'.

Team Courtney Love is finally expanding on why she's so pissed off at the makers of Guitar Hero -- and it seems her beef is over the songs that the digital version of her husband is forced to sing in the game.

TMZ spoke with Love's attorney who told us Cobain's widow did give permission for the game makers to use Kurt's name and likeness -- but she never, ever signed off on a deal that would allow them to make Kurt sing Bon Jovi tunes in the game.
Love's lawyer told us, "Activision is exploiting Kurt's image in a manner anathema to the very essence of his music, spirit and essence.
I along with Ms. Cobain hope those who love Kurt's music strongly voice their sentiments to Activision and demand his image not be debased by singing the songs of Bon Jovi.
Bon Jovi gave Love a bad name? How ironic.

There's no place more dangerous in the world for a recovering alcoholic than a Blackjack table in Vegas -- but this weekend at the Hard Rock, Richie Sambora was in the mood to gamble...

Fortunately, the Bon Jovi guitar legend -- who went to rehab for booze in '07 and got a DUI in '08 -- only took a chance with the cards, because Sambora and his crew stuck to bottled water all night long.
That's a win in our book.

Jon Bon Jovi is accusing someone of trying to sell parts of his "Soul."
A former employee of the Philadelphia Soul -- the 2008 Arena Bowl champs -- is being sued by team owner Bon Jovi and his Arena League Football team for allegedly making his own version of their championship rings and selling them to the general public.
According to a lawsuit filed yesterday, Joe Krause -- a former sales manager for the team -- organized an event at which the rings were for sale. Bon Jovi alleges that the design for the ring, as well as any use of the Soul logo, belongs to him.
JBJ is suing for damages and asking for all the infringing materials to be destroyed.
Side note -- Krause sued the team and Bon Jovi last month for $125K, claiming he still should have gotten paid even though the 2009 Arena Football League season was canceled.

He owns an Arena Football Team called the "Soul" -- but Jon Bon Jovi is being accused of lacking a heart when it comes to paying a former employee.
Bon Jovi is being sued by a former sales manager for the Philadelphia Soul AFL team -- which the rocker owns -- who claims he never got paid after the league decided to cancel the 2009 season.
The guy says Bon Jovi stiffed him out of $125,000 in back payments and severance.
Bon Jovi's rep had no comment.

Fans at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Fl. were evacuated from last night's Bon Jovi concert because of a bomb threat. Don't worry -- Tico Torres and company are just fine.
Several bomb-sniffing dogs were sent in after police received a phone call threatening to blow up the arena with two bombs. After determining the threat was a hoax, fans were let back in at 9:30 for the show.
The state of New Jersey can rest easy.

Lawyers for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline will be heading back to court -- again -- on Friday, for an emergency session about Brit's bolting through a red light at a busy intersection.
People reports that the Friday hearing was requested by K-Fed lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, who contacted TMZ about subpoenaing our story, with video showing Brit blowing through the intersection at Mulholland Drive and Coldwater Canyon. Sorrell Trope, one of Brit's attorneys, explains that she was "distracted" and that "this was not blatant irresponsible driving on her part."
Yesterday, TMZ reported that Britney plans to explain that her flunked drug test was caused by her asthma inhaler.
Bon Jovi – Slippery When Governor?

Jon Bon Jovi could have designs on being New Jersey's governor, reports
Page Six, explaining why he's kept his Jersey home even though he's moved to NYC.
Bon Jovi has been performing regularly at fundraisers for Dems like Al Gore and John Kerry, and he's hired Ken Sunshine, the PR legend who was once Chief of Staff for ex-Mayor David Dinkins. But he won't fess up to any interest in office. "John has been approached many times about running for office. His day job is going too well, and this way he can keep the house."
Party Favors: O.J. Publisher Sues for $100 Mil ... Greasy Literally Too Greasy for Hair Salon
Judith Regan, the woman who planned to publish O.J. Simpson's book, is suing her former employer, HarperCollins Publishers, for $100 million -- alleging that parent company News Corp. asked her to lie to the feds about her ex-lover, Bernard Kerik. ... Brandon Davis was so greasy at a recent hair appointment that the stylists at Frederic Fekkai hair salon had to wear rubber gloves. The hyperhidrotic heir was, as Page Six reports, "sweating profusely," and was asking for carrot juice. Bears eat carrots?

Bon Jovi's number two, Richie Sambora, returned to rehab on Monday -- this time at the Cirque Lodge in Utah -- the same rehab facility where Lindsay Lohan is currently receiving treatment.
This is the second time this year Sambora's been to rehab. This past June, after the traumatic break-up of his marriage to Heather Locklear and his split from girlfriend Denise Richards, Sambora spent a week at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.
At the time, he told NBC's Matt Lauer that he decided to go the rehab route because, "I was just drinking too much, and I needed to get my life together."
The 48-year-old Bon Jovi guitarist has a private room at Cirque, reports Star.

Apparently, Richie Sambora doesn't have such a big problem with drugs or alcohol that it couldn't be cured by a simple week of detox and therapy! The rocker and the rest of Bon Jovi were performing on "Today" this morning when Matt Lauer asked Richie about his recent Lohanesque trip to treatment, with Sambora revealing, "I did detox." No biggie!
The band rocked the "Today" stage and gave middle-aged women all over America something to brighten their morning. Richie's stay at rehab, er detox, was so brief that most of these fans probably hadn't even heard the news, or that he's busted up with Denise Richards.
From rock group to support group -- and back in a flash!

Fresh from his live performance on "American Idol," Jon Bon Jovi -- looking more like Babwa Walters every day -- took his crew to Mr. Chow for an post-show dinner.
Bonny Jonny B wasn't the only celeb at the Beverly Hills eatery last night -- sisters Hilary and Haylie Duff were spotted leaving, keeping quiet when asked if they'll be attending the "secret" Britney Spears concert tonight in L.A., while "EXTRA" host Mark McGrath gave a special shout-out to TMZ.
Across town, Kato Kalein came up with his own variation of what the acronym TMZ stands for -- it's Thirty Mile Zone for all you wonderful newbies.
Also out were Danny Masterson, Andy Dick -- who raved about riding his bike everywhere and showed off his girlfriend -- Jason Biggs, Mac Guy Jason Long and a shop-happy Paris Hilton ... who likely isn't as cheery today.
All this and more in today's eat-it-with-chopsticks version of Star Catcher.

Jon Bon Jovi is the most fashionable steel horse-riding cowboy we know.
The New Jersey rocker's latest endeavor, he's also owner of the Arena Football league's Philadelphia Soul, has him teaming up with clothing designer Kenneth Cole to create a line of limited edition outerwear.
Bon Jovi debuted one of the designer jackets on the red carpet at Thursday night's Fashion Rocks event in New York.
For those of you livin' on a prayer, fear not as the coats will be available starting in November at Kenneth Cole and Saks Fifth Avenue stores.
Proceeds from the line will benefit HELP USA, which works to empower the homeless and others in need.
