The guys who sued Common this week for copyright infringement are now taking aim at Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and Akon -- accusing them of ripping off the exact same song!

Bone Thugs & Akon
In a lawsuit filed the day after Common's, Songster, LLC -- which owns the rights to the song "When Will the Day Come" -- claims Bone, Akon and producer Swizz Beatz jacked their music for the collaboration "I Tried."

Rapper Released -- Gets a Flesh Start

Bone Thugs n HarmonyForget the 1st of the month ... one of the guys from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is all about the 2nd -- because today, dude just became a free man.

Stanley Howse, aka Flesh-n-Bone, was just released from a Los Angeles County jail after prosecutors decided to drop parole violation charges -- a case that kept him behind bars after he was arrested for gun and pot possession back in April.

Flesh was cleared of the gun and drug charges a while ago, but remained behind bars until the parole issue got sorted out -- which finally happened this morning.

And just in time, dude's actually performing in L.A. on June 26. Who knew?

Bone Thugs Rapper Cleared, Yet Still in Jail

The famous rapper in the accompanying mug shot is still behind bars -- even though the charges he was arrested on have just been dropped. Kinda messed up, right?

Stanley Howse, aka Flesh-n-Bone from the rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, was just cleared of gun and marijuana possession stemming from an April 2 arrest in Santa Clarita, California. But due to the fact that Stanley was on parole when he was arrested, Howse has to remain behind bars until his lawyer, Shepard Kopp, can clear up his parole hold.

Kopp tells us he hopes to have it done within the week.
