There's no debating the guy can make a kick-ass action flick -- but when Bruce Willis told photogs yesterday he's "doubtful" his movies will ever get him an Academy Award, did he have a point?

Local fire officials tell TMZ they have ruled the fire that burned down an Idaho ski lodge partly owned by Bruce Willis was accidental.
Fairfield Volunteer Fire Chief Wayne Marolf told us they have concluded the Monday morning fire was the result of the main electrical panel shorting out.
The resort closed for the season last week. No one was injured.

Bruce Willis is being sued by a production company that claims the actor committed to a bargain-basement deal to direct a movie and then walked off the set, never to return.
Foresight Unlimited claims it inked a deal with Willis to direct a movie called "Three Stories about Joan," starring Owen Wilson and Camilla Belle (Joe Jonas' GF). Willis was supposed to get $196,404 to direct the flick, budgeted at $20 mil.
The lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, claims "Willis abruptly and without notice terminated his services as director for personal reasons and walked off the set." The suit doesn't get more specific.
The suit seeks more than $4 mil in damages.
Willis' legal pit bull, Marty Singer, tells us the suit is "absurd" and that the movie collapsed because the producers didn't have the money to pay anyone. Singer says the producers were required to salary money in an escrow account, but never did. He also says Willis will sue the producers for the fee they promised.

Bruce Willis and Kirstie Alley -- one is an incredibly generous tipper and the other is the biggest cheapskate around ... at least according to one chatty skycap-to-the-stars.
After Brody Jenner shockingly handed out a twenty-spot for his service, the celebrity bag carrier ran his mouth about some of his most famous clients -- from Bruce to Rihanna to a whole mess of NFL bigshots -- and you're never going to believe who's tight with their wad....
Everybody hates a name-dropper -- and now the former president of the all-powerful William Morris Agency is being sued for allegedly tossing around Bruce Willis' name to finance a bunch of movies.
The guy in the dog house is Arnold Rifkin, who co-founded a major production company with Bruce Willis in 1999 that put out about 15 movies -- but they went their separate ways in 2006.
In 2007, Rifkin and a guy named Chris Eberts started their own company -- Rifkin-Eberts, LLC -- and Eberts claims he was led to believe Bruce Willis was still Rifkin's pal -- the kind of pal "committed to starring in future projects."
In a lawsuit filed today in L.A Superior Court, Eberts says he was sold a bag of lies -- claiming Willis never got anywhere near the company's flicks and Rifkin never put together talented crews, established good credit lines and was not "well regarded in the Hollywood community."
Ebert is suing Rifkin for over $3 million of alleged unpaid debt associated with their company's movies: "Timber Falls," "Stag Night," and "Night Train."
UPDATE: We just spoke to Rifkin's lawyer, Glen Rothstein, who said: "First, we categorically deny all accusations Mr. Eberts is making... We currently have a pending arbitration against him, suing him for between $5-10 million.
Eberts lawyer sent the American Arbitration Association a letter saying he has "insufficient funds" to pay a $10,000 fee associated with the arbitration. Eberts is also named in numerous lawsuits filed within the last year.
Obviously, this is a nuisance, but I am confident Mr. Rifkin's rights will be vindicated."

The New York hotspot where Ashton Kutcher had his birthday party just got word from NYC Department of Health that one of its bartenders was serving that night with Hepatitis A!
Among the patrons on hand at Socialista for Ashton's birthday: Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Salma Hayek and Bruce Willis. They are urged to get a hepatitis shot. The Kutcher bash was held on February 7. The bartender also served up drinks on Feb. 8 and 11.
Hepatitis A is spread by putting something in one's mouth that has been contaminated with traces of fecal matter from an infected person. Symptoms include jaundice, fatigue, abdominal pain, nausea, and diarrhea. Any patron who hung at Socialista is considered to be at risk, and the Health Dept. says they should get a gamma globulin shot -- pronto!
Bar owners estimate roughly 700 to 800 people may have partied there on those three nights.
UPDATE: Socialista has issued the following statement to TMZ: "Although no additional cases of illness have been identified, the New York City Department of Health is urging customers to get the vaccination as a precautionary measure. We are grateful for their efforts and we will continue to support them in every way possible."

Willis was the last person back to the studio after the bit for Dave -- and he explained what went wrong while signing post-show autographs.
It's bad enough when a normal kid's parents do something cheesy to make them feel stupid -- but nothing tops Bruce Willis' goodbye words to daughter Rumer in front of a packed Hollywood nightclub -- and 40 paps!

Divorced celebs have the same problems millions of regular divorced folks have -- who gets the kids during the holidays? We did some digging, and here's how it will shake down for Thanksgiving.
Sean Preston and Jayden James will be having two Thanksgivings this year -- Brit will break drumsticks with the kiddies tonight and K-Fed will do the honors tomorrow. On the real turkey day, Brit will spend time with the kids in the AM.
Feuding former couple Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards hashed it out, and Denise will serve the mashed potatoes to Sam and Lola tomorrow. We don't know if Charlie will see the kids during the day.
As for the hassling Hasselhoffs, we're told they've hammered out a deal -- David will have dinner with the kids sometime this week (maybe turkey burgers). Presumably Pam does the honors tomorrow.
One split family that may be splitting for Thanksgiving -- Demi and Bruce. Rumor has it (no, not the kid) that the divorced couple, their three children and Moore's hubby, Ashton Kutcher, will all sit down together tomorrow. But as everyone knows, they're all friends. So don't be surprised if Bruno himself shows up for pie!
Sexy, ageless, action heroes of yore, Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis, reunited at the opening of their Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday. Stayin' alive!
