The ladies of "Sex & the City" have often been compared to "The Golden Girls" -- but yesterday in NYC, Rue McClanahan told us the Cosmo swilling quartet doesn't hold a candle to Blanche Devereaux's crew.
The woman who played the original Samantha Jones came out swinging at LaGuardia, telling our camera guy, "Don't even mention them" -- and adding the GGs are on another level because "Our humor is much better than that."
So we gotta ask ...

What infidelity rumors?
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick had dinner in NYC last night despite rampant Internet rumors about Matthew cheating. If they go out in public together, they must be happy!
Looks like neither has broken things off yet, via Post-it or otherwise.

Getting to work on time is tough for Sarah Jessica Parker, what with all the traffic, commuters ... and pesky fans wanting to take your picture!
While on her way to the "Sex and the City" set in Soho this weekend, a harried and unamused Parker met up with some unexpected congestion at every turn -- in the form of admiring gawkers trying to snap her pic. Taxi!

A mousy-tressed Sarah Jessica Parker was all argyle on the set of "Sex and The City" yesterday. Clad only in a garish, electric blue sweatshirt and thigh-high socks, SJP seemed to have forgotten her bottoms! Then again, who hasn't forgotten a bottom or two?!
Sarah did a skirt-free strut through Central Park, in sky-high heels and a smile. Put on some pants!

As if giant flowers weren't bad enough, "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker is now looking to inspire forty-year-old women across the country to wear ... thigh-high stockings! Little Middle-Aged Orphan Carrie!
While shooting the SATC movie in Manhattan this weekend, the 42-year-old alleged fashion plate's ridiculous half-gloves, Hester Prynn shoes and schoolgirl thigh-highs hit a new low!
If this keeps up, the only thing Carrie Bradshaw will need to wear is a straitjacket!

It was 1998 all over again as Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth did their best Carrie-and-Big all over the Upper East Side yesterday.
TMZ cameras caught the on-screen couple in various states of canoodle and just plain idling as the "Sex and the City" flick finally began shooting in New York. Despite the producers' attempts to keep lensmen away from the set, we managed to find SJP and Noth in a number of tony locations, including just outside celebriteria Nello's.
Despite appearances to the contrary, we caught the minuscule Sarah Jessica actually grazing at the craft services table -- a shock along the lines of finding Carrie Bradshaw in flats!

Covet may be the name of her new perfume, but all Sarah Jessica Parker wants is Dog hair! Arf!
The 42-year-old "Sex and the City" star turned up at the launch of her new fragrance in New York, tressed-out in Duane "Dog" Chapman's white man's mullet! For the love of Carrie Bradshaw!
The Dog, 53, also happened to be in the Big Apple yesterday -- shilling his new book, "You Can Run But You Can't Hide." After this latest hairtastrophe, SJP may want to give her hair stylist the same advice!

Sarah Jessica Parker looked more like a fighter than a fashionista as she bobbed and weaved from paparazzi on the streets of New York.
The "Sex and the City" star normally just asks the photogs to leave her alone, but this time she chose to use the 'hiding behind the friend' technique. Unfortunately for Parker, that plan didn't work out so well.
Maybe the starlet was just in a hurry to check on her husband Matthew Broderick who recently broke his collarbone in a freak horse riding accident.
