Steffans tells TMZ that she's known McCrary, who played Eddie Winslow on the show, for nine years, and lived with him "as husband and wife" for just under a year. In August of 2007, Steffans, whose real name is Karinne Stephens, filed a police report claiming McCrary choked her "til she passed out."

Rob Lowe to Nanny: You Have Unclean Hands!

Rob LoweRob Lowe has filed an answer to the legal claim lodged by former nanny Laura Boyce. His response: Deny, deny deny.

Lowe claims neither he nor his wife did anything sexually untoward as alleged by Boyce. In legal papers filed today in L.A. County Superior court and obtained by TMZ, they deny every one of her claims. They also say her claims are barred by the statute of limitations, that she sat on her hands (i.e., waited too long) before filing her claim.

And the Lowes say she should be thrown out of court because she has "unclean hands." That means even if the Lowes did something dirty, so did she -- so she doesn't have a righteous case.

We love the law.

County Superior Court, Floyd claims last March, Charney went nuts on her, doing this and that. She says it got out of control when he "made several references to an interview he had conducted with Jane magazine wherein he had received oral sex from an employee during the course of the interview and the reporter had engaged in masturbation." The suit continues, "Defendant Charney sat down and ordered Plaintiff to 'pretend to masturbate.'"

Floyd says when she refused to comply, Charney ordered a dude in the office to pretend choke the chicken and then "simulated an oral sex act with him."

Lohan Allegedly Coked Up During Car Crash

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan was allegedly drunk and had cocaine in her system during an early morning smash-up in Beverly Hills on Memorial Day weekend.

According to multiple law enforcement sources, toxicology reports conclude that Lohan, 20, had "nearly twice the legal limit" of alcohol and traces of blow in her bloodstream when she crashed her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible into a curb on Sunset Blvd. around 5:30 AM on May 26. In California, drivers with a .08 or higher are legally drunk.

Police tell TMZ Lohan and two other adults were in the car at the time of the accident. After the crash, she was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries, then placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI. Cops later said they found a "usable amount" of cocaine in the car.

We're told that the Beverly Hills Police Dept. could present the case to the Los Angeles D.A. in the next few days.

Lohan's lawyer, Blair Berk, told TMZ, "It's highly inappropriate for me to discuss a pending case." Berk added, "It is extremely unprofessional for law enforcement to do it."

Bobby Brown Off the Hook ... For Now

Bobby Brown off the hookTMZ has learned that R& B star and Hyde outcast Bobby Brown is officially paid up on his back child support.

Patrick McDermott of the Norfolk, Mass. Probate and Family Court tells TMZ that Brown paid his two-month delinquent child support last week, a bill that totaled $11,000. Kim Ward, the mother of Brown's teenaged daughter La Princia and son Bobby Jr., claimed that Brown owed her two months' support for the children.

It is still not clear, however, about the status of the warrant out for his arrest. A court rep tells TMZ that it will probably be turned back in to the court as unserved and will most likely be vacated.

Brown also has one child with Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina, and an older son, Landon, with another woman.

JLo to JetCo: Get Off My A$$

Jennifer Lopez on stageA private jet company is alleging that Jennifer Lopez is late on nearly $35,000 on payments for two flights from New York -- one to California and one to Puerto Rico. A rep for Lopez says that it's a billing error.

Avjet Corp. filed suit Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court claiming the superstar flew twice with her husband and four other guests on Gulfstream jets owned by the company, and they have yet to see payment for the trips.

Lopez's rep says that a third party billing company was handling the invoicing for the flights, and Jennifer herself was not supposed to be billed. She has been pulled into the lawsuit, the rep says, because of her high profile.

Judge Issues Warrant for Boy George

NEW YORK (AP) -- A clearly annoyed Manhattan judge issued an arrest warrant Friday for Boy George after the former Culture Club singer failed to appear in court to explain why he wants to change his sentence for falsely reporting a burglary.

Judge Anthony Ferrara also ridiculed the singer's suggestions for serving community service, which included a proposal to hold a fashion-and-makeup workshop. But he said he would not order an arrest until a June 26 hearing on whether Boy George violated the terms of his sentence.

The singer, whose real name is George O'Dowd, pleaded guilty in March to false reporting of a burglary at his Manhattan apartment, where police found cocaine.

Under his plea deal, O'Dowd was to enter a drug-treatment program in England and do five days of community service in Manhattan. He was also fined $1,000.

But the judge angrily complained that O'Dowd had not paid the fine and had never reported to the office that assigns community service work.

"I put people in jail who don't pay fines," the judge told O'Dowd's lawyer, Louis Freeman. "Why shouldn't I do that?" Freeman said he had told O'Dowd, who was in England, that he did not have to appear Friday but that he should be ready to fly to New York on a moment's notice. He said the singer would be present for his next court date.

Jacko Tampered With My Food, Suit Alleges

Michael Jackson unmercifully harassed a Los Angeles woman, tampering with her food and water and threatening her life, according to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ.

The bizarre case, filed by Helen Harris-Scott, alleges that she began sending Jackson cards and letters in 1986, declaring her "love and admiration" for the singer. The plaintiff claims Jackson was "shy" and communicated with her through others and through his music.

Harris-Scott claims things turned ugly around 1987 when Jackson, who was "connected with criminals," flattened her tires and tampered with her brake system. She also says a GPS tracking device was secretly installed in her car, tracking her every move. She says her phone was also wiretapped.

Harris-Scott claims it got even worse, alleging Jackson had "organized criminals watching me inside my house in L.A. and reporting to him."

She is asking the court to order a public apology from Jackson and "immediate disconnection of all the surveillance and wiretapping equipment." By the way, she also wants $100 million.

Michael Jackson's rep Raymone Bain says "Wonders never cease to amaze me" and said Mr. Jackson has not been advised of the case. She would not comment past this.

You Stole My Show

The latest group of producers are crying and suing, claiming someone stole their show idea -- in this case, "So You Think You Can Dance."  Well,  they need to butch it up.

Hollywood is filled with bitter people who feel ripped off.  I don't think there's been a single show on the air during the last ten years in which someone claimed they'd been had.

The fact is, TV is kinda like music -- there aren't all that many melodies, so a lot is derivations on a common theme.   This business operates on pitch meetings.  Day after day, studio execs meet with producers who claim they have the next big thing.  The meetings start to blur, ideas collapse on top of each other, something gets on the air and feelings are hurt.

Stu Billett, the man who created reality television by producing "The People's Court" 25 years ago, once told me that the suits at studios do pilfer ideas and that it's really part of their job.  As he put it, referring to the execs:  "They're like scorpions.  They don't mean to kill.  It's just their nature."

The fact is, anyone relying on an oral promise -- as was allegedly the case with "So You Think You Can Dance" -- is dreaming; it's not worth the paper it's written on.   Stu once said something funny:  "If someone stole my show, I wouldn't sue.  I'd look like a schmuck because I didn't protect myself."

As for the "So You Think You Can Dance" lawsuit, the plaintiffs list similarities between their show and the one on FOX, including:  a 60 minute television show, the Concept recruits contestants from various cities, professional dancers instruct contestants, a panel of professional judges evaluate performances, the competition is an elimination style, yada yada yada.  Sounds like ten other shows.

As they say on "Idol," "Welcome to Hollywood."

Paris Hilton Sued In Car Crash Case

(June 12) -- TMZ has obtained a lawsuit which claims Paris Hilton is legally responsible for a chain collision on a freeway in Los Angeles County.

The incident allegedly occurred in May, 2004. Brooke Ashley Brinson, who identified herself at the scene as Paris Hilton's cousin, was driving the Mercedes that was registered to Hilton. The heiress was not in the car.

According to the suit, "Traffic began to slow down and all vehicles came to a stop for traffic ahead." The lawsuit alleges that the defendant's car failed to stop, causing a chain collision involving four cars. The plaintiffs, Ivan Alvarez, Monica Delgado and their child, Nicholas Alvarez, were two cars in front of the Mercedes.

TMZ spoke with the plaintiffs' lawyer, Mauro Fiore, Jr., who said his two adult clients suffered "serious injuries."

Fiore says he filed a claim with Hilton's insurance company, and was shocked to learn that Hilton had the bare minimum coverage for property damage -- $5,000. Hilton's insurance company refused to disclose her policy limits for personal injury.

Fiore says he wants $250,000 for each plaintiff but the insurance company refuses to pay a dime.

TMZ contacted Paris' rep Elliot Mintz.  Mintz tells TMZ "I am not going to comment on the lawsuit, but I think it is important for people to know that Paris was not in the vehicle."
