A guy who's allegedly stalking Celine Dion is now under psychiatric evaluation. Yeah ... that sounds about right.
Police arrested the 41-year-old man outside the Canada home of the singer following an incident where he allegedly rang the buzzer at Dion's mansion and demanded to speak to her. When cops showed up, he was gone ... but they arrested him a short time later when he intelligently showed back up for seconds.
According to CTV.ca, the man is now under psychiatric evaluation and is due back in court on Monday to face charges for harassment.

Unlike her music, Celine Dion doesn't suck.
There must have been about 200 fans outside her hotel in NYC yesterday, and even the "Greatest Singer in the World" made time to sign for as many as possible. Take that, Daniel Radcliffe!

Celine Dion says her architect don't know much about geometry -- and wants big bucks from him because of it.
La Dion hired Florida architect Randall Stofft in 2005 to build her a $3 mil Jupiter Island pad -- complete with an octagonal living room. Stofft had a different vision, and Dion says he refused to build the house the way she wanted. Now the house still isn't finished, according to the Palm Beach Post, and Dion's filed suit asking for a quarter mil in damages.
The architect had no immediate comment.

Celine Dion is not only one of the biggest singers in the world, she's also a Titanic spender!
TMZ caught the fur-lined Vegas showgirl in New York Friday night where she went overboard on a shopping spree that would make even Lindsay Lohan envious -- stopping at Barneys, Hermes, Chopard, Chanel and Bulgari -- all in one outing!
Dion picked up so much stuff -- she needed to rent a Penske truck to get everything to the airport.

Sen. Hillary Clinton asked her supporters to vote on a campaign song, and the results are horrifying.
Celine Dion's "You & I" was the winning choice, and if we didn't know better we'd think the voting was sabotaged. Bill won the presidency on "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" and W used "I Won't Back Down" in 2000 -- both of those have a some kind of campaign connection.
But the lyrics to "You and I" sound like someone taking a magical dream journey through the clouds, and not surprisingly, it was written by an adman for Air Canada! This isn't exactly the image you want to project when you're bucking for the biggest promotion in the free world. Check out the video TMZ whipped up to show what we mean.

Let's hope with Celine's cheese-tastic run at Caesars Palace in Vegas finally coming to an end this year, that she'll soon have the time to get adorable lil' Rene his much needed haircut. Androgyny be damned!

"American Idol" will raise the dead on Wednesday and feature a performance with Celine Dion and ... Elvis Presley?!
While "A.I." teased their "Idol Gives Back" charity benefit by revealing that "two of the biggest stars in musical history come together," sources at last week's taping tell TMZ that Celine sang Elvis Presley's hit, "If I Can Dream" -- with an Elvis impersonator! Ugh! But we're told the impersonator was just used as a stand-in, and what you will actually see when the show airs is Celine singing with a virtual Elvis -- in the vein of Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole's "Unforgettable." Unbelievable!
At the taping, the remaining "Idol" wannabes also sang with Celine and Elvis, but as backup in the choir. Hallelujah! Elvis died nearly thirty years ago, while Celine has been singing at Caesars Palace in Vegas for the last four.
"Idol Gives Back" will help raise money to fight extreme poverty in the U.S. and Africa, and feature artists like Gwen Stefani, P!nk and Josh Groban.
A rep for "American Idol" could not be reached.

Diva Celine Dion talks to Tyra Banks about her most "guilty pleasure."
In her interview, which airs May 4th on "The Tyra Banks Show," Celine admits that, above all else, she must have potato chips while in bed at night. And, she says, they need to be crunchy.

Celine Dion and Elton John sang together for the first time Monday night at a benefit to raise money for Harrah's Entertainment Inc. (HET) workers affected by last year's hurricanes.
The pair, who sang duets of "Sorry" and "Saturday Night" before a packed Colosseum at Caesars Palace, also were joined by Jerry Seinfeld to raise $2.1 million for some 8,000 casino workers in the Gulf Coast region.
The money came on top of $4.5 million the world's largest casino operator already had collected for its staff, said Harrah's CEO Gary Loveman.
"I've played in Biloxi many times," John said. "I'm just glad we can do a little something for those people's lives that will never be the same again for many, many years. God bless them." Some 4,100 people paid $100 to $1,000 each to watch the trio take turns on the stage.
"He lightens our lives in the evenings quite a bit," said Corp. Mattias Ronnberg, an 18-year-old conscript.
