This one came outta nowhere -- cameras catching "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford in a full-on eyes-closed make-out session with "Twilight" star Ashley Greene earlier this morning!
The two were spotted in the backseat lip-lock while Chace was dropping Ashley off at LAX.
We're told the couple has been spotted together "quite often" recently, but no one suspected that they were more than just "good friends" ... until now.

With one fell swoop of his man-bangs, Chace Crawford morphed from "Gossip Girl" hottie into any other nerdy unidentifiable Upper East Side prepster.

Being a twentysometing hottie in a low-rated-but-much-hyped show must be tough -- because the cast of "Gossip Girl" is always POed every time a papper's camera is on 'em.
Leighton Meester looked like she'd rather have yogurt thrown in her hair than deal with the photogs at JFK. Penn, Blake and Chace are always in a nasty mood, too. The only one who's nice is Ed Westwick -- but he's just being British.

Sharon Osbourne was shocked we did a poll asking people "who'd you rather?" between her and daughter Kelly. Even more shocking -- the 55-year-old mum won!
Also in L.A.: Little people Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman stepped out, Rick Springfield showed off his pit stains and fanny pack, paps teased David Spade, Pauly Shore made out with a guy and Mel B called us "nosy."
In NY: "Gossip Girl" rumored lovahs Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick walked around set and NY Giant Michael Strahan got cozy with Eddie Murphy's ex, Nicole Murphy.

Carrie Underwood has moved on from footballers to, uh, "Gossip Girl" guys.
TMZ has obtained this shot of Chace Crawford himself making a move towards Carrie, whose old QB sloppy seconds (Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo) are now the exclusive property of Jessica Simpson. Giddy'up!
A source inside the party tells TMZ that the couple was all hugged up inside Marquee's fourth anniversary party in New York last week. We're guessing that Chace is reminding her not to miss Jeff Beacher's Oompa Loompas doing the smack-the-butt dance in the hizzy.

Spotted: Gossip Girls' favorite men are stealing all the attention from their leading ladies. B must be pissed!
N, C and D were completely surrounded by Sidekick-wielding female admirers yesterday on the Upper East Side. One girl, clearly after the Archibald family jewels, even proposed marriage to N!
The reception wasn't as welcoming for their counterparts though -- it was crickets for B and S. BS indeed!

John Mayer and Carrie Underwood have done rather well keeping their respective romances -- to actress Minka Kelly and "Gossip" boy Chace Crawford -- under wraps. But this weekend in New York, both couples let their cats out of the plastic bag, more or less.
We also caught up with a well-guarded Natalie Portman, Jason Bateman, Ricky Martin, Abigail Breslin, and John Legend, all in this "Alliterative Couple" edition of Star Catcher NYC.

The guys from "Gossip Girl" were out on the town the other night, but -- psst! -- we're still not sure exactly what was going on with these cats.
First of all, there were the yoga mats that the guys were carrying out of the launch of Reebok's Voltron collection at the Hotel Gansevoort. Nothing says "party" like yoga mats. Then, there was the Penn Badgley impostor. We thought Chace Crawford was talking to Penn, but then we realized that it was a Penn-a-like. Bizarre!
Finally, Chace walked by and while greeting the camera, let a little bird fly out of his pocket, in what he probably thought was a subtle gesture.
At least Ed Westwick interacted with us like a relatively normal human being.
