Chevy Makes a Pee Line Through LAX

At 65, Chevy Chase still has it -- because it takes real skill to come off looking good after calling photogs "parasitic worms," joking about hitting a woman and pretending to pee in a trash can. At least we think he was pretending.

National LampoonUnder the category of tough times, the National Lampoon may be getting evicted from its digs for nonpayment of rent.

Fletch lives!

Legendary SNL-er Chevy Chase soaked up the spotlight outside of Koi last night. He noted that while the attention never gets old, "I do."

Samantha Ronson hung out in front of Hyde, talkin' about her DJ career and her Myspace profile. Sam's very popular on the interweb – she's got more than 20,000 friends on the 'Space.

Les Deux was tres busy, with Ian Ziering, Josh Henderson and Kevin Connolly hanging hard.

And Wilmer Valderrama, a long way from his days as Fez, was rolling semi-incognito under a scruffy face and porkpie hat at new L.A. hotspot Opera.

"Law & Order" Takes on Mel

Chevy Chase: Click to watchMel Gibson's infamous drunken tirade will be re-enacted on primetime -- by Chevy Chase.

In next week's episode of "Law & Order", the comedian plays a TV actor who is pulled over for drunk driving, and just like Mel, the character's anti-Semitic side is exposed after his arrest.

"I'm obviously somewhat ripped from the headlines. My character is clearly a bigot against the Jewish community" says Chase, "I've never said 'Jew' so much in my life, 'Jew cop,' 'Jew' this, 'Jew' that. That's the way it's come out, it's clearly related somewhat to the headlines."

The tirade is clearly inspired by Gibson's anti-Semitic rant during his DUI arrest in August, when he spouted off comments like, "the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world."

This, of course, isn't the first time the show has skewered a celeb -- this season's premiere featured a "young pop princess who has a reputation for being careless with her baby." Sound familiar?

This Week's Biggest Losers 09/30/06

When Screech stars in a sex tape and his Saved by the Bell co-star Mario López appears on Dancing with the Stars, rather than the other way around, it would seem to confirm that things in the celebrity world often don't make sense. But thankfully for this weekly column, they are not alone.

anna nicole smithAnna Nicole Smith:
It's hard to believe that, during this difficult time, Anna Nicole could be part of something more offensive than her new sci-fi comedy Illegal Aliens, in which she co-stars with Joanie Laurer (sample line of AN dialogue: "Who do I have to screw to get off of this movie?"). But by marrying her attorney Howard K. Stern only 18 days after the death of her son, with some pink bikini frolicking reportedly thrown in for good measure, the 38-year-old bride proved that the third time was anything but the charm. Over the years, her surgically enhanced breast size has hovered between 36A and 42DD, but what she really seems to need now is a brain implant.
