Josh Duhamel was really nice to our photog -- even when we asked if he'd "knocked up" Fergie yet.
Also in L.A.: Joe Walsh invited us to dinner, David Beckham made a fast escape from Madeo, Chris Cornell signed a couple hands, Emmanuelle Chirqui was overcritical on a couple autographazzi's pics and ex-Paris wannabe Natalie Reid acted a damn fool.
In NY: Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos and Regis all carted around Central Park and Diddy did his best strut into Cipriani.

Chris Cornell wants everyone to know that he really liked David Cook's rendition of "Billie Jean" on "Idol" last week -- because he did it first!
In an interview on Billboard.com, Cornell admits Cook "sang it great," but adds, "it was literally a note-for-note take on what I came up with." Step off, wannabe!
While Ryan Seacrest did give Cornell credit for the innovative cover on the show, Cook's imitation has Chris singing all the way to the bank -- Cornell's "Billie Jean" has jumped to #12 on iTunes. Sing copycats, sing!

Former Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell showed up to Mr. Chow last night with his adorable 2-year-old daughter, Toni, who brought a burst of much needed color to the drab rocker fam. Adam Goldberg was at Chow over the weekend as well, giving his congrats to Alicia Silverstone for gettin' naked for PETA.
Twang intact, Reba McEntire hit up Koi, John Legend was at Hyde and train wreck couple Fake Paris and Daniel DiCriscio showed how much they really suck outside of Shark's Cove.
Brad Pitt showed off some ridiculous locks in New York on the set of his new flick, while Jennifer Hudson showed up on the "Sex and the City" set to start filming as SJP's assistant.
All this and more in today's "Move Over Suri" edition of Star Catcher.

Former Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell serenaded his two biggest fans last night -- his kids! Rock-a-bye babies!
While performing at NY's Beacon Theater on Tuesday, Cornell brought out his headphone-clad daughter and son, Toni and Christopher. Could ya keep it down, dad?!
Rock n' roll daddy day care (or hearing impairment) doesn't get any better than this!

Chris Cornell has freed himself from Audioslave.
The former Soundgarden frontman has permanently exited the "supergroup," and the breakup wasn't pretty. "Due to irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences, I am permanently leaving the band Audioslave."
The band's bust-up was hardly a surprise, as fellow Audioslaves Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk recently reunited with former Rage Against the Machine singer, Zack de la Rocha. During a Reuters interview last year, Cornell hinted that all was not well; "Musicians aren't the kind of people who concentrate or worry about what the other guy thinks."
Cornell, curiously described as "an acrimonious artist" in the statement announcing his split, also announced that his solo album, "Carry On," would be in stores on May 1 on the Suretone/Interscope label. The album includes a cover of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean."
Audioslave's reps at Epic Records could not immediately be reached for comment.
