Season 6 "A.I." wannabeens Melinda Doolittle and Chris Richardson ('memba them?) are realizing that life post-"Idol" can be cold -- ice cream cold!
With their music careers frozen, Melinda and Chris are making ends meet by shilling ice cream as part of a Dreyer's ice cream national promotional tour -- at Vons, Stop & Shop and Winn-Dixie! "Idol" loser in aisle three!
Kristy Lee and Ramiele need not worry about their future -- somewhere there's a Safeway (or a local balloon festival, outlet mall or housing development) waiting for them!

Things are starting to really heat up on the "American Idol" concert tour -- backstage!
TMZ has learned that "Idol" winner Jordin Sparks has fallen head ovah heels for Justin Timberfake wannabeen Chris Richardson! This is her now! While she and runner-up Blake Lewis are just friends, we're told Jordin has a huge crush on 23-year-old Richardson -- despite his penchant for late nights and hanging out with the likes of Lauren Conrad. Boys will be dogs!
Sources on the tour tell us that because Jordin is only 17, her minders and family members are doing everything they can to keep from letting anything -- or anyone! -- get in the way of the underage star's bright future. Sexy and 17 -- and off limits!

The train has left the station -- and the "American Idol" castoffs are on board! Adios!
TMZ cameras caught Phil, Chris, Brandon and Gina as they left their hotel in West Hollywood to head for the Kodak center in Hollywood.
If it's anything like last year's, tonight's big finale should bring the house down with some amazing, fast-paced performances -- and these idols will be singing too.
Our cameras also spotted taffeta-ed Anna pal, Bobby Trendy, who was on his way to the "A.I" finale as well. More video to follow -- stay tuned!

Remember "A.I.'s" tongue-balled, burgundy-haired rocker, Gina Glocksen? She's still making noise -- even though we don't have to hear it week after week.
Glocksen has been posting bulletins non-stop on her MySpace page, asking her punky peeps to prop up top-six finalist Chris Richardson -- she even added his music page as a friend.
Chris' music page, created by his fans, allows you to relive that solemn moment when 
Richardson attempted to do justice to No Doubt's "Don't Speak." Don't sing? Last week, the kids got a free ride as no Idol was eliminated, but the kids better step up their game tonight -- two wannasings will be sent packing on Wednesday!

Like a young apprentice following his master, "A.I." studlet Blake Lewis risked breaking curfew and journeyed into the Hollywood club scene this weekend -- behind his onscreen rival, Chris Richardson.
As Chris hammed it up for the cameras, answering questions and flashing his megawatt smile like a seasoned party scene vet, a shy Blake stayed mum, trailing his competition during the long walk to Parc nightclub.
While Chris didn't have any comment on his new party pal, he did have a few words about his rumored relationship with MTV star Lauren Conrad, telling our cameras, "That girl is just my friend, man." As you may remember, TMZ cameras caught the two acting quite flirty the last time Richardson hit the club scene.

"American Idol" castoff Alaina Alexander has gone to drastic measures to detach herself from her "A.I." image.
The sultry Miss Alexander just dyed her hair black, and she's already flaunting the sexy new do on her MySpace page.
Alaina has been romantically linked with fellow Idol, Chris "Timberfake" Richardson, but if she happened to see our video of Chris flirting with "The Hills" star Lauren Conrad, her dark fashion statement could signify that she's through with everything that's "Idol."

Is a reality show romance brewing off the set of "American Idol?"
TMZ cameras caught MTV and possible sex tape star Lauren Conrad in the middle of a hardcore flirting session with "American Idol" stud Chris Richardson outside of Les Deux nightclub Friday night.
Moments before the two met up, LC was spotted solo on her cell phone outside the club, playfully telling whoever was on the other line, "I'm so mad at you right now, hurry up!" Moments later, the Justin Timberlake knock-off arrived, much to the delight of the giddy blonde.
The two were then ushered into Les Deux, bypassing the huge line outside, where more people recognized "The Hills" star than the "Idol" crooner.

Chris Richardson and Blake Lewis are close friends on "Idol," but they probably aren't this close.
The fake photo has been making the Internet rounds, but the original was taken backstage at "American Idol" on February 20.
If the people behind the doctored photo wanted people to believe it was real, using Sanjaya might have been more convincing!

Sexy "American Idol" castoff Alaina Alexander and top ten finalist Chris Timberlake Richardson may have sparked more than just a friendship on the show. An inside source revealed exclusively to TMZ that the pair "hit it off instantly," and even after the busty songstress was voted off A.I. island, their relationship is afloat.
Our spy said that what they share is "beyond just friends." It seems not to be a coincidence that the wannabeen Miss Alexander has a really sweet picture of the two on her MySpace page.
Also adding fuel to the romance rumors... last week when they panned the audience to show Richardson's adoring friends and family, Alaina just happened to be in the crew. Will these apparently lovestruck Idols end up being the next Kristy Swanson and Lloyd Eisler, er, minus the scandal 'n stuff?
"A.I." reps had "no comment".
