Can't make it to Vegas or Miami to party on New Years with real celebs? Then how about a fun-filled night in Westerly, Rhode Island -- with one of your favorite "American Idol" wannabeens of yore?! 
Season Six's curly-haired 29-year-old, Sideshow Bob Chris Sligh, will "headline" the alcohol-free First Night Westerly celebration, by singing at least one song at the local Y-M-C-A! Finally, an event safe for Jessica Sierra! As if Sligh weren't enough entertainment for one night, the party will also feature face painting, mimes and a karate demo. Everything in moderation, people.
Tickets cost $10 before December 25, but jump up to a whopping $14 after Christmas. It may not be the opening of an outlet mall, housing development or local balloon festival, but it's still a bargain!

TMZ caught a silent and subdued Paris Hilton showing off one of her new puppies for photogs yesterday in West Hollywood. Hilton was heading into the Sunset Medical Plaza -- though there's no word on if the appointment was for the bitch or the bitch.
"American Idol" sore loser Chris Sligh was spotted making a trek across the Les Deux parking lot, joking with our cameras that "you guys have five 'American Idols' ... and you've got me."
Also out yesterday: The unconvicted Hilton sister, Nicky, who was caught making a dash to the gym for an afternoon workout, and healthy singer Mya, Audrina from "The Hills," and Fran Drescher, in head-to-toe leopard.

TMZ has obtained video of "American Idol" castoff, curly-haired Chris Sligh, in his first performance since being booted off the talent juggernaut.
Sligh and his band kicked off his "Fro Patro Homecoming Tour" in his hometown of Greenville, South Carolina, hitting local nightclubs and even singing at church.
A TMZ source in the audience tells us that many of his fans sported Chris look-alike curly wigs to welcome the portly songbird home. Sligh gave the crowd a true "Idol" send-off, singing his encore song on the way out!
According to recent reports, Sanjaya wasn't greeted as warmly on his return to Federal Way, Wash.
