Just three days after it was announced they broke off their engagement, Christina Ricci went out to the movies Saturday night with her ex-fiancé, Owen Benjamin.
Saying "she doesn't know how to quit him" would be sooooo 2005.

Several Bloody Marys later -- Christina Ricci and fiancé Owen Benjamin were finally ready to fly out of LAX this morning.
The pair was spotted hittin' the bar around 7:30 AM, chattin' it up with fans and properly preparing themselves for their upcoming jaunt to beautiful sunny ... Indianapolis.
It's lovely there this time of year.
Here's the deal -- Roseanne and Christina Ricci were at the same terminal at LAX yesterday. Both big stars in their own right -- so the question: If something bad happened, who'd get the lead in the L.A. Times?

Eva Longoria got a haircut -- and for some reason, it turned into a paparazzi event. Paps swarmed the petite star as she left Ken Paves salon. She promptly returned to being boring.
Also out in L.A.: The two Coreys reuniting for their Bravo TV show, new grandpa Lionel Richie, Jason Biggs (happy to get some attention) and most depressed mom-to-be ever, Jessica Alba. Oh, and Christina Ricci, who despite warning us that she might do something fun "any moment" -- did not.

Christina Ricci's next flick is "Speed Racer" -- but this Trixie may be in need of a new Mercedes after a fender-bender in Hollywood.
TMZ obtained video of Ricci in her car after an accident on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood last month. At first, the Kewpie doll cute Christina didn't seem too upset, smiling inside her car -- but then appeared flustered when cops showed up.
Ricci's rep tells TMZ the accident wasn't her fault.

Christina Ricci's been in the business long enough to understand how the paparazzi work -- yesterday telling her friend photogs shoot lots of footage just in case someone falls or says something stupid. Ricci unfortunately did neither. Boo!
Also looking good, but otherwise doing little, were Eva Longoria, Courteney Cox Arquette, Rebecca Gayheart (with hot hubby Eric Dane) and "Heroes" star Zachary Quinto. Debbie Gibson teeter-tottered going down the stairs -- but assured TMZ she doesn't drink, while Natalie Cole couldn't get her drink on at Il Sole because they were too full to let her in.

Baldy Britney Spears had her crazy captured on tape this weekend. On Friday Brit went for a tan and a sushi dinner with her cousin and on the way out, she called over a paparazzi agency to tape a little message to the public.
First the fierce baldy thanked her fans for their support. Then she launched into a mad monologue, rattling on in a fake valley girl accent about everything from tabloid troubles to Jesus.
In the minute and a half diatribe, she addresses rumors that she's pregnant, saying, "And, like, I saw these magazines, and they said I was pregnant, and like it's so true. Like, America, believe everything you read because like you're smart and I'm stupid. Like for real." Well put.
The spacey pop star also takes a stab at her management, snarkily adding that, like, "my management totally knew what they were doing when they sent me to rehab."
Michael Jackson is a model parent, says a publisher who traveled with the King of Pop and his kids last month.

The upcoming "Black Snake Moan" starring Samuel L. Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Christina Ricci has taken an unsual approach in promoting the film.
Paramount Vantage has created a contest that challenges fans to download artwork and audio from the film and create a trailer for the new movie. The winner gets a trip to the Sundance Film festival.
Set in Tennessee, the southern gothic film chronicles a tale of rage and love when ex-blues guitarist Lazarus (Samuel L. Jackson) discovers Rae (Christina Ricci) beaten nearly to death along side the road. Lazarus decides to cure Rae, a woman known for her insatiable desire for sex, of what he thinks are her wicked ways. All the while Rae's true love Ronnie (Justin Timberlake), who is supposed to be headed to Iraq, goes looking for her.
With a tale like that, folks are sure to come up with some interesting ideas for the trailer.
