The 82-years-young yenta arrived at a Manhattan premiere this week, sporting a nest-like weave. She's one crazy bird!

Where else can one find crimped-out grannies? Only in New York kids, only in New York.

Cindy Adams: These Paws Were Made for Walking

Gossip columnist Cindy Adams' Chewbacca boots were the talk of the town at a movie premiere in New York on Thursday.

Cindy's fur-ga-trocious footwear stopped the 76-year-old's look dead in its tracks. Cindy topped off this grizzly ensemble with a "matching" bag -- which appears to be made from one of Michael Jackson's old wigs. She's bad!

Even if it is cold on the East coast, the gossipista's zoological horror is an abomination. For everyone's sake, let's hope that Cindy keeps her Gorilla Gams Tour "only in New York kids, only in New York."
