With sequels and remakes ruling supreme in the horror world, get ready for one more -- David Arquette confirmed he's been in serious talks to take another stab at the "Scream" franchise.
Internet reports suggest Arquette, his wife Courteney Cox Arquette and Neve Campbell have been approached to cameo in the new film -- not star.
The last flick, "Scream 3," came out nine years ago.

The usually camera shy "Dirt" star Courteney Cox Arquette was in rare form last night at the Sheryl Crow concert. In fact, not only did she not hide from the cameras, but also she took the time to sign a ton of autographs. 
Oh yeah, that guy she's married to was there as well.

The usually un-photocentric Courteney Cox Arquette struck up a deal with paps this weekend -- and in the process, gave TMZ a shout-out!
Cox was spotted at Nobu in Malibu on Friday (she apparently needed a break from Il Sole) where she agreed to pose for photogs if they would then leave her alone. Cox did her thing, and when she was done posing, she asked the snapping group, "TMZ, you good, covered?"
We were, thanks. And she took off into the rainy night.

Believe it or not, Il Sole is not Courteney Cox Arquette's sole restaurant choice! Notify the press! Oh wait, that's us.
Cox's constant cravings for the Italian restaurant has become a running joke at TMZ, so it was refreshing to see the former "Friends" star expanding her palate last night by dining at Mastro's Steakhouse.
Perhaps she'll get a little meat on those bones!

Nicole Richie and fiance Joel Madden and their growing embryo showed up to Mr. Chow for a private dinner Friday night -- and were swarmed by paps on their way out the door.
Courteney Cox Arquette, hubby David, sexy Kate Beckinsale and David Spade all showed up on the Santa Monica pier for a Kinerase cosmetics event on Saturday afternoon. Marcia Cross and Melanie Griffith opted for an afternoon of shopping on Robertson Blvd. -- with Griffith almost getting whacked in the head in a parking lot.

Courteney Cox Arquette is a creature of habit -- eating at the same restaurant at least once a week. So what's so good there that she's gotta have it all the time?!
TMZ saw Arquette at Il Sole yet again last night with Tobey Maguire's wife, Jennifer Meyer. We checked, and it seems that Cox is addicted to their Dover Sole. Daughter Coco was there too, and she munched on the Penne al Pomodoro.
So there you have it. Courteney Cox loves the fish. Does anybody else care?

Courteney Cox Arquette tried to coax the paparazzi off her back yesterday -- too bad they weren't having it.
After dining at Ed's Coffee Shop in Beverly Hills, a patient Cox emerged to a wall of photogs, posed for a few pix, and then became increasingly frustrated after the paparazzi didn't let her shop in peace. Cox's voice could barely be heard telling the paps, "that's good ... there's nothing happening" over the heckling of the group. The unusually frumpy-looking "Friends" star then wandered into a baby boutique.
For someone who sends the paparazzi out to cover celebs in her FX show "Dirt," Cox definitely doesn't like it when the tables are turned!

Courteney Cox Arquette had a run-in with a bizarre, toilet paper-wearing fan last night.
As she went to her favorite restaurant Il Sole, a man outside asked for a photo with the former "Friends" star. Clearly confused, Cox posed for solo photos and ran off when the flushed fan tried to get in on the photo-op.
The fan was still outside when Cox exited the restaurant with with buddy, new mom Sheryl Crow, this time wearing a scarf made of toilet paper. Spotting the disposable-camera wielding enthusiast, Cox wisely made a beeline away from the group and took off.

David Arquette was at George Washington U. in D.C. on Monday to promote his film "The Tripper."
The usually nerdy-looking actor looked slick, although his attire was accented with that splash of nuttiness he's known for; this time, a pair of wackadoodle sneakers, but still, he brought some heat to the capital.
