Just in case they make sequels to "Snow Dogs," "Boat Trip," or "Daddy Day Camp," Oscar winner Cuba Gooding, Jr. is keeping his physique in rock hard shape.
The 40-year-old worked out at an L.A. gym on Wednesday and proved he's still got his 1996 "Jerry Maguire" body.
If only he could exercise better judgment in picking film projects.

"Big Shot" hottie Dylan McDermott had a hankering for Italian last night, TMZ spotted him getting take out at Il Sole. Ne-Yo opted for sushi at Koi and James Blunt spent the night at Les Deux after his sold-out concert at the El Rey.
In New York: Queen Latifah, Usher, Jamie Foxx and The Rock were all caught leaving the Mandrian while fine young thing Channing Tatum chatted up our camera guy -- between filming scenes on "Fighting" with Terrence Howard.

Cuba Gooding Jr. isn't afraid of a little controversy.
The actor, who made Tom Cruise scream, "I love black people" in "Jerry Maguire," dropped an N-bomb outside of Butter nightclub in New York last night, proudly declaring, "That's right, I said it!"
It's the second time in two weeks that TMZ cameras captured Cuba making racially charged statements, but Cuba doesn't seem to mind. "At least I got all my clothes on."
Also seen in the Big Apple; former N'SYNCer J.C. Chasez, "The Hills" hottie L.C. and our favorite heiress, Paris Hilton.

Britney Spears' first post-Feder fling is on the prowl again.
Arizona clubgoers recently saw Spears getting hot and heavy with football stud Matt Leinart. Now, TMZ cameras have spotted record producer "J.R." Rotem, linked with Britney a few weeks ago, leaving a party at Paris Hilton's Hollywood Hills home with sultry R & B singer Mýa this weekend. Rotem made sure to open the car door for her. Such a gentleman!
Also at Paris' place: Cuba Gooding, Jr., sister Nicky Hilton, buddy Brandon "Firecough" Davis, Chris Judd and Kim Kardashian, who just loves the beaches in Australia this time of year.
Teddy's at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel saw the likes of Travis Barker, Tom Green and Taryn Manning, while Rachel Hunter, Carlos Mencia and Dane Cook had lots of laughs for TMZ cameras outside of Hyde.

TMZ's intrepid camera-packin' duo hit the streets of Hollywood on Monday night and caught up with one of the most random lists ever in Star Catcher history.
Josh Levine and G-Hollywood hit up all the hotspots in L.A., hoping to snag the latest Paris Hilton debacle or Lindsay Lohan trainwreck. What they got: Billy Crystal, Pam Anderson and a few D-listers looking for some videographic love; Club regular and struggling actor Cuba Gooding Jr., Geraldo Rivera, Hilary Duff's older sister Haylie, Won G (again), "Laguna Beach" bad boy Jason Wahler, Meagan Good, and making a very rare appearance, Xena the Warrior Princess herself, Lucy Lawless. We're pitching this as an episode of "Surreal Life."
Only in Hollywood, kids, only in Hollywood.

Who wouldn't want Halle Berry in their movie? Well, back before she won an Oscar for her role in "Monster's Ball," the film's producer, Lee Daniels, had his reservations about casting Berry in the career-making part.
Daniels tells AOL Black Voices that he was skeptical of Halle's talents because she was "at her worst publicity-wise. She had just run over somebody- backed up, took off and left them there; done the Flintstones [movie] and was being called a Black Barbie doll. But you know, I'm an underdog and at that moment she was an underdog and I'm always for an underdog"
Luckily, minus the blip known as "Catwoman", Halle's career has never been healthier.
Daniels latest project is the drama "Shadowboxer." As the director on the film Daniels also expressed concerns over hiring Cuba Gooding Jr.
Despite winning an Oscar for his role in "Jerry Maguire", Gooding has seen his once hot career fizzle.
Daniels adds "With Cuba, something wasn't sitting right with me but I remembered him in 'Boyz N the Hood.' That's when I saw the truth and went for him. [With this film], I think he's gangsta. I think he's thug. I think he's honest and good. And I think he's back."
Let's hope so because there aren't many people clamoring for sequels to "Snow Dogs" or "Boat Trip!"

It was a star studded night in Hollywood as celebs turned out for Jessica Alba's birthday bash. The 'Into the Blue' stunner showed up with a huge entourage for her 25th birthday.
'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria was on a solo mission and David Spade got hounded by fans as he tried to make a quick exit. TMZ's Josh Levine captured a rare appearence by the one and only Lindsay Lohan.
