The blood-feud between the Dallas Mavericks and the Denver Nuggets is so nasty, Carmelo Anthony's fiance had to be escorted out of the stands in last night's game after an argument with opposing fans got way out of control.
While Melo unsuccessfully tried to lead his Nuggets to a victory in Dallas, his fiance, LaLa Vazquez, who is ironically a judge on VH1's "Charm School," got into it with some people sitting near her. In the video, shot by KDFW in Dallas, a visibly upset LaLa can be seen trying to throw something and then cussing at security as they tried to get her to leave.
If you haven't been following the NBA, both teams pretty much hate each other. A few nights ago, Mavs owner Mark Cuban made some kind of a comment to the mother of a Denver Nuggets star. He since admitted he was wrong and apologized, but you know how fans get ...
Dallas Mavericks star Josh Howard has been arrested for a drag racing incident -- rest assured North Carolina, no heels were involved!
He was charged with speeding (94 in a 55), careless and reckless driving, and speed competition, while driving a black Lexus chasing a VW late Thursday night down U.S. 421.
Howard was released from Forsyth County jail, after promising in writing he'd appear in court on Sept. 23. Is breaking a written promise a felony in N.C.?
UPDATE: We're told Howard never had to pose for a mugshot because police had him contained -- but he was never jailed. He signed his promise to appear and was sent packin'.
Still alive on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," Mark Cuban still has to focus on his other job: owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks.
TMZ caught up with our favorite dancing fool in West Hollywood last night. The topic of conversation shifted from the Bossa Nova to basketball; would Cuban go after troubled Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant? Probably not, Cuban says, explaining, "You always talk, but you know this world -- nothing happens."
As for Kobe and the Lakers' recent losing ways, Cuban joked, "Doesn't break my heart. The less help they get, the better!"
