If Dallas Cowboys fans are looking for a scapegoat ... we might know where to find one...
Just hours before Tony Romo's squad lost in a last second heartbreaker to the NY Giants in Dallas last night ... the 'Boys' most famous bad luck charm decided to publicly weigh in on the match-up.
Here's the message Jessica Simpson left on her Twitter page: "First home game of the season in the new stadium...GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!"
Final score: Cowboys 31 Giants 33.

One of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history is playing defense for a change -- after three TV producers accused Michael Irvin of stealing their idea for a football-based reality show.
Ironically, the show is about giving unknown athletes a shot at playing for the Dallas Cowboys -- but in the lawsuit, filed last week in Dallas, Irvin is accused of screwing three unknown producers out of their chance to make it in Hollywood.
In the suit, the men claim they approached Irvin with the idea for a show in 2007 -- but after they allegedly presented Irvin with storyboards and even a poster for the show, the Hall of Famer ran off with the idea and cut the guys out of credit, cash and even changed the name of the show to "4th and Long."
The show is now airing on Spike TV and the producers are pissed -- in fact, they're suing for fraud, fraudulent nondisclosure and breach of contract.

Wearing a tight Kim K. miniskirt, a happy Jessica Simpson walked the streets of NYC with boyfriend Tony Romo and showed off her sexy tanned gams.

Wearing those mom jeans were the best thing to happen to the former singer's career since "Newlyweds."

"Does a bear sh*t in the woods?" If so, then Terrell Owens definitely was implying that he's sticking around the Dallas Cowboys for awhile.

Despite an ESPN report suggesting he's on the outs in Big D, the NFL's most loved/hated wide receiver offered a rhetorical response to a photog at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend when asked if he was going to stay in Dallas.
As T.O. continued to party hop around Park City -- with cup in hand -- another fan says, "Come back to the Cowboys, we need you." Owens' response: "I haven't left."
... yet.

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was allegedly involved in a violent altercation at Dallas hotel -- after just completing a one-year suspension from the NFL for the same kind of stupidity.
Pac allegedly got into a brawl with one of his own bodyguards -- a bit bass ackwards, no? -- in the bathroom of the Joule Hotel on Tuesday night. The fight had to be broken up by hotel security, according to KTXA in Dallas.
No police reports were filed, but KTXA also claims a mirror was broken and Pacman jetted on his hotel bill.
The Joule offered up a "no comment" -- the Cowboys have yet to get back to us.
UPDATE: A high-ranking team official says an internal investigation was conducted, and found Pacman was not in violation of his contract.

Crazytown footballer Pacman Jones may want to avoid Vegas for his next vacation. The Clark County D.A. is seeking a felony arrest warrant for Pacman for allegedly running out on a $20K gambling debt at Caesars Palace.
The Bad Check Unit -- the same peeps who went after Charles Barkley -- say Jones hasn't paid back three markers, two for $5,000 and one for $10,000 to the casino. The warrant hasn't been granted by a judge yet, and his lawyer tells the Las Vegas Sun that he's going to pay up.
Jones is trying to get back into the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys after he was suspended by the NFL all of last season. He's been arrested six times since 2005.

Jessica Simpson suffered through the most excruciating kind of vacation of 'em all -- the one with mom and dad.
With no boyfriend's life to jinx, Jess arrived back at a Van Nuys airport last night after being forced to go to Cabo with Papa Joe and Mama Tina. Adios Mexico -- hola sad, single reality!

An estimated 90.7 million people watched the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks Sunday, the largest Super Bowl audience since 1996 when the Steelers last played in the title game.
That was 5 percent more than the 86.1 million people who watched the New England Patriots beat the Philadelphia Eagles last year, according to preliminary estimates from Nielsen Media Research.
When the Dallas Cowboys beat the Steelers in 1996, there were 94.1 million people watching.
The Steelers beat the Seahawks 21-10, but the game wasn't really decided until the final five minutes or so, which helped keep the audience glued to the set, said Larry Hyams, ABC research executive.
"The Super Bowl obviously is a national event and people are going to tune in regardless of whether the teams have national appeal," Hyams said. "It's up to the game to hold the audience."
An episode of "Grey's Anatomy" that aired directly after the game on ABC was seen by 38.1 million people, the biggest audience for a post-Super Bowl show in five years, Nielsen said.
