Who needs Dr. Phil, or Dr. Drew, or, hell, a Dr. of any kind. We've got Daniel Baldwin!
The "Celebrity Rehab" dropout tells us he's working on becoming a interventionist. Oddly, Baldwin had nothing to say about ex-castmate Mary Carey, whom he allegedly sent racy text messages to, except, as he put it, that "Mary would finally get sober."
Baldwin was in court today for a progress report on his drug rehab for charges stemming from his April 2006 arrest in a Santa Monica hotel.

The oldest Baldwin was in Malibu yesterday -- shiner and all -- and he shared some more random knowledge on cow coccyges (that's the plural for coccyx, folks).
Daniel, who dropped out of "Celebrity Rehab," was with his wife and newborn daughter, Avis -- yes, like the car rental company-- and his parents-in-law -- when he told us he's still sober.
TMZ tried to contact a rep to find out what happened to Dan's eye, but our calls weren't immediately returned.

If there's anyone looking to do a dissertation on the relationship between mass cow breeding and glow sticks -- Daniel Baldwin is an expert.
The "One of Many Baldwins" took a break from Sundance to talk about taping glowsticks to cow's coccyx.

Daniel Baldwin just got a huge break from the judge. He deserves it!
L.A. County Superior Court Judge Nancy L. Newman just recalled and quashed the warrant that had been issued for the actor on December 7.
Baldwin must re-enroll in a court-ordered drug program.
UPDATE: Baldwin told the judge, "I didn't know I was supposed to call the court myself. I plead ignorance."

Daniel Baldwin is on the run from authorities ever since missing a court date last Friday, and he has still not surfaced to face the judge for bailing on his progress report hearing.
We're told Baldwin was OK'd by the court to be in Toronto shooting a movie until December 3rd. His hearing was on the 7th. He was a no-show. This week, his attorney claimed it was all a misunderstanding -- Baldwin notified his probation officer that he would be out of the country and would miss the hearing. Problem is -- you gotta talk to the judge!

TMZ caught up with Daniel Baldwin as he appeared before a judge for a progress report on drug charges from last November.
Today, the judge was happy with the healthy looking, rehabbed Baldwin brother's progress, and dropped his fine -- commending him for a job well done, saying, "I'm proud of you." Hooray!

Celebs seem to be fleeing L.A. for Las Vegas, where Britney Spears is allegedly hosting the opening of LAX at Luxor -- but LC tells TMZ she's heading to New York City. Watch out Manhattan!
Cameras caught "The Hills" star leaving Opera last night, where she partied with co-star/ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner and his pal Frankie Delgado. LC was escorted to a waiting taxi by club security. No DUIs for Ms. Conrad!
Earlier in the day, Malibu Country Mart was hoppin' with a random group of celebs -- ass crackin' Kid Rock, rehabariffic Daniel Baldwin and superdad Dean Cain all hitting up the shopping area. Backstreet Boys were also spotted grabbing lunch as well.
Also out: The formerly TMZ-obsessed Sarah Paulson, Patrick Muldoon, Charles Barkley and Keenan Thompson, who had an awkward run-in with an excited fan on the street outside Geisha House. Sayonara!
All this and more in today's belabored holiday weekend edition of Star Catcher.

Daniel Baldwin, cleaned up and in a tie, spoke to reporters Tuesday, then drove off in the same GMC Yukon he was arrested for allegedly stealing.
Baldwin was confident as he explained that he wasn't angry about his arrest. "I pay my taxes, an exorbitant amount of them, so they'll do their job," said Baldwin, referring to prosecutors who brought the case to court.
Then he smiled, hopped in the allegedly stolen vehicle, and drove off.

Daniel Baldwin pled not guilty in an Orange County Courtroom today, to charges of unlawfully taking a car and receiving stolen property.
As TMZ first reported, a bench warrant was issued earlier this month for Baldwin, after he failed to appear for arraignment in the case. He has been free on bail since being arrested at a Santa Monica hotel in November, while driving a white 2003 GMC Yukon that was reported stolen in Orange County.
Baldwin claims he borrowed the vehicle from a friend. Surprisingly, Baldwin arrived at the courthouse driving the disputed vehicle, with owner Ken Smith his passenger!

TMZ has learned that a warrant will be issued for the arrest of Daniel Baldwin, after the actor failed to show up in Orange County Superior Court earlier today on charges he stole a car.
As TMZ first reported, a disheveled Baldwin was taken into custody last November for grand theft auto in Santa Monica, California. According to cops, Baldwin stole a 2003 GMC Yukon in Orange County and drove it to a Santa Monica motel. Officers conducted a search of Baldwin's motel room and allegedly found narcotics and paraphernalia. Baldwin was also booked on charges of possessing illegal drugs and released on $20,000 bail.
The Orange County District Attorney filed charges of unlawful taking of a vehicle and receiving stolen property. Baldwin was supposed to appear for his arraignment but was a no-show. So the judge turned up the heat and Baldwin is now a wanted man.
This is the second time Baldwin has been busted in Santa Monica for drugs. Last April, Baldwin was arrested at another Santa Monica hotel after a woman called the cops claiming she had been threatened there. Cops claim when they arrived, they found cocaine on Baldwin.

For Hollywood Republicans like James Woods, Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer, this week was about as much fun as a root canal. Right up there with the kick-in-the-teeth experiences of these woeful celebs.
K-Fed: "BLANK the media, BLANK the haters" bellowed Kevin Federline this week in Chicago, partying with back-up dancers and a bottle of tequila after another non-sold out tour date. He might soon be upping the BLANK ante if Britney goes ahead with plans to give away Baby Photos #2 to a magazine like Vanity Fair rather than share the media moola with the rapper. In the annals of Blonde-Bombshell-or-Bust, K-Fed is already running rings around Nick Lachey and Tommy Lee. He may soon even topple all-time champ Paul Snider, Playboy Playmate Dorothy Stratten's deranged ex. As Britney continues to defecate in K-Fed's direction (as in the dictionary definition "to become clear of dregs, impurities"), we have a new name brand suggestion. K-Fed, say hello to the backwards-spelled moniker Def-K, as in defecate and three strikes you're out, bro!

TMZ has obtained exclusive video of the arrest of Daniel Baldwin at a motel in Santa Monica, Calif. The footage shows as many as eight officers swarming outside the motel room; several with guns drawn. The 2003 white GMC Yukon that Baldwin is accused of stealing from an acquaintance -- and which led officers to the motel -- is also visible in the background.
As TMZ reported yesterday, Santa Monica police officers allegedly recovered narcotics and drug paraphernalia from the room where Baldwin was staying. He was booked in Santa Monica, then shipped to the OC to get booked on stolen vehicle charges.
After making their approach to the room, officers are shown inspecting the allegedly stolen vehicle. Baldwin will have a court date on the latest charges sometime next month, said Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesman, Jim Amormino.
"Baldwin boy, Baldwin boy, whatchu gonna do, whatchu gonna do when they come for you?"

One of the Baldwin brothers has had a lot of bad luck when it comes to cops and alleged drug use.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Daniel Baldwin was arrested Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif., after allegedly stealing a car.
We're told the owner of the car called OnStar, reporting the car stolen, and a rep from OnStar in turn called the Santa Monica P.D. to report the theft. Cops found the car at a local motel and saw Baldwin getting inside the vehicle.
We're told a disheveled Baldwin was taken into custody for grand theft auto. Officers conducted a search of the motel room where Baldwin was staying and allegedly found narcotics and paraphernalia. Baldwin was also booked on charges of possessing illegal drugs.
Baldwin, the brother of "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin, was booked at the Santa Monica jail and held on $20,000 bail.
Cops tell TMZ that the car in question, a 2003 GMC Yukon, was stolen in Orange County. The Santa Monica P.D. transferred Baldwin to the Orange County Sheriffs Department, where he was booked on grand theft auto charges.
This is the second time Baldwin has been busted in Santa Monica for drugs. Last April, Baldwin was arrested at another Santa Monica hotel after a woman called the cops claiming she had been threatened there. Cops claim when they arrived, they found cocaine on Baldwin. That case is pending.

Just months after a highly publicized cocaine bust, a clean and sober Daniel Baldwin was spotted last night in Orange County's posh Newport Beach Coast. A TMZ informant ran into the actor while he was taking a lonesome stroll down the boardwalk. Daniel stopped to chat with a few fans sitting on their patio, but here's the kicker -- Daniel was in his jammies.
The actor was surprisingly candid with his admirers, opening up about his ongoing recovery from alcoholism and spilling secrets about a new book deal. He also touched upon the electrical fire that forced him to temporarily move from his Malibu home. It's good to see one of Hollywood's own willing to shoot the s*** with some locals.
However, not everyone is a Baldwin fan. An anti-Baldwin anthem, has been circulating the web, titled "Lesser Of The Baldwins." Roy Schwartz, lead singer of the band Ded Sexy, explained his inspiration for the song to TMZ saying, "the idea came about after the Baldwins were constantly in the news for doing bad things. We got in the habit of referring to band members as 'the lesser of the Baldwins.' The lyrics are about being a loser."
