One of TMZ's cameramen watched as a car carrying Crazytown frontman Shifty Shellshock's got plowed into by another vehicle -- and ended up giving Shifty a ride back to his rehab facility!
Last night, Shifty, his buddy David Weintraub and some other friends were being driven home from Hollywood nightclub Opera in a souped-up limo that could double as a battle tank, when a compact car, allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road, slammed into their ride. The guys had a theory about why the Honda driver smashed into them, but we never saw the other driver on camera to get his side of the story. Cops arrived a short time after, but as of this morning, no police report has been filed.
The guys were stranded -- until TMZ offered the group a ride. One of Shifty's buddies even took hold of the camera and shot the drive from the back seat!

David Weintraub and Shifty Shellshock (of the band Crazy Town) were denied outside of Hyde last night. Only problem: The "host" at the door was a loony, stoney phony!
TMZ was in front of the Sunset Blvd. club last night, when a short, seemingly wasted girl took over the door and gave Weintraub the third degree over his license, which she said was fake. Like her "job" -- the girl later admitted she had no affiliation with the club at all!
Crazy girl was also heard mumbling that she'd rape Jenna Jameson -- as the porn star stood right in front of her!

Former "Real Housewives of Orange County" sublebs Jo De La Rosa and Slade Smiley may not be a couple anymore -- or reality stars, for that matter -- but they've each moved on to physically bigger and questionably better things.
TMZ cameras spotted Jo out with another reality show reject -- "Sons of Hollywood" star David Weintraub. The pair were out about on Robertson Blvd. yesterday, hitting up the trendy boutique Lisa Kline. A source inside the store tells us that Jo was trying on several different outfits (didn't buy any) and that David was very "touchy-feely" with her. *shudder*
Not to be topped, Slade was out and about last night with a busty piece of arm candy by his side. When our camera guy wanted to know how Jo was doing, to which Slade shot back, "Jo is probably fine."
Probably, indeed.

Club Avalon hosted "California Speedway's Running Wide Open" event last night, where Barbadian nightingale Rihanna hopped into a Hot Wheels Corvette with real life Speed Racer Jeff Gordon. The twosome opened the red carpet event by promptly peelin' out in the parking lot. Also attending was that David Weintraub guy -- who was probably there for the doughnuts!
"Monkees" maestro Micky Dolenz did his best paleolithic Dick Tracy impression at Hyde, and John Lovitz tried his hand at becoming a street performer -- human statue style. A penny for the pauper?
Stevie Wonder, 57, entered Mr. Chow with a curious hand gesture, David Spade grubbed at Koi, and the Dungeon Family's Big Boi was spotted outside of Area.

Diddy rocked the Hamptons Tuesday night -- but he didn't even make his grand entrance until 2:45 AM!
TMZ cameras were at Whitehouse, where Diddy was scheduled to make a promotional appearance. The self-proclaimed Bad Boy rolled in with his crew in the wee hours, though the crowd didn't seem to mind his late arrival. Can't nobody hold him down!
Also spotted in NYC over the holiday: Paris Hilton wannabe Natalie Reid, who was at WhiteHouse in a barely there black dress, and Kelly Osbourne, who was looking Muppetesque with her Manic Panic pink hair.
Across the country in L.A., TMZ was at a non-Paris Hiltoncentric 4th of July party in Malibu, where David Weintraub was caught frolicking with ladies in the surf and Sean Stewart showed off his coin slot. Also driving by was Pamela Bach, who was partying with her girlfriends.

It had to happen. It was inevitable. Gummi Bear blew up!
Gummi was stuffed into a white SUV (unbuckled) last night outside of Les Deux, where some mouthy dude in the backseat discouraged the once loquacious bear from speaking to TMZ's camera, saying, "He's sober now, he's doing his thing, we'll let you know what's up ... he's starting his own company ... he's employed." Oh please! Don't dummy-up the Gummi one!
TMZ has heard that producer David Weintraub, who brought the stellar "Sons of Hollywood" to the small screen, is going to do a gargantuan reality show based on the lush life of Gummi Bear. Living large! A cooking show would have been too expensive. Leave it to Gummi!
It's going to be very difficult for Gummi -- getting turned away from a club by yourself is one thing -- but having your entourage, bodyguards and personal camera crew denied -- that's cold!

David Weintraub packed a Phantom with ladies last night -- then ditched them on the side of the road when police pulled him over!
TMZ spotted the "Sons of Hollywood" star, literally up against a wall, after the popo pulled him and his crew over for not wearing seatbelts. The Rolls may be a roomy car, but it certainly wasn't built to hold seven beltless passengers!
Realizing someone had to go, Weintraub and his boys left the four ladies stranded with the police, the girls still pressed against the wall as they peeled away. What gentlemen!

"Sons of Hollywood" star Sean Stewart dropped his suit ... his bathing suit that is, and went for a press-generating dip in Malibu.
Stewart, son of Rod, bared his own rod in a seaside romp for paparazzi. His A&E show debuted last night, causing Variety's Brian Lowry to quip, "Thanks for nothing, bro."
Sean and his co-stars, Randy Spelling and David Weintraub, inspired widespread lunging for remotes.
