LiLo's New Pal -- Here Comes Trouble

We're all for Lindsay Lohan making new friends, but Lilly Allen probably isn't the best bud for the 3x rehab grad -- especially since Lily had to be carried drunk outta an awards show just last week.

Also in L.A.: Unlike Coolio, Pauly Shore actually got into One Sunset, Courteney Cox Arquette was taunted over her failed show, Reba McEntire's son played late chauffeur, and Hil Duff's BF was asked about a possible boob job.

In NY: Wesley Snipes savored another night of freedom, along with Don Cheadle, Cee-Lo and Jay-Z at Butter.

Adam and Don Test Each Other's Manhoods

Click to WatchAdam Sandler and Don Cheadle take a wild scooter ride through Manhattan in their new film, "Reign Over Me." But it wasn't icy roads or crazy cabbies that they were most concerned about. "You were rubbing up on the Sandman," says Adam, not entirely comfortably, referring to Cheadle's taking hold of his co-star in a rather intimate position on the two-wheeled vehicle.

The pair sat down for AOL Moviefone's Unscripted series to talk about "Reign." Sandler plays Cheadle's former college roommate who loses his grip on life after his wife and children are killed on 9/11.

As for their cozy joyride, Cheadle admits, "Yeah, it was tight. You had to be pretty secure about your manhood." Lucky for them, they recall, some fans around town mistook the pair for Ben Stiller and Wesley Snipes. Check out the full "Unscripted" interview here.

Sacha Leaves Borat at Home

TMZ spotted the man of many personalities, Sacha Baron Cohen, leaving the Egyptian Theatre on Tuesday night in a not so "sexy time" atmosphere. Cohen and his future wife, Aussie hottie Isla Fisher, were swarmed by fans and paparazzi as they stopped to sign a autographs before diving into their waiting SUV. "Is nice."

Also seen in L.A.: "Ghostbusters" star Harold Ramis, "Sin City" beauty Devon Aoki, and "The Hills Have Eyes 2" guapo Jacob Vargas got his taste of rejection from dwindling Hollywood hotspot Hyde.

In NYC, TMZ stopped by the "Reign Over Me" after-party where we ran into funnyman Adam Sandler, Don Cheadle, Tim Robbins and comedian Chris Rock.

All this and much more in this coast to coast edition of Star Catcher!

Paris & Vince: Major Players

Paris Hilton and Vince Vaughn doubled up this weekend, playing a little Texas Hold 'Em in a celeb poker tournament.

The two were joined by Don Cheadle, Jason Alexander, Nicky Hilton and Mekhi Phifer at the World Poker Tour Invitational at Commerce Casino Saturday night. Hilton's arch-nemesis, Shanna Moakler, was also there, but the only thing they threw down were bad hands.

Card shark Jennifer Tilly, nicknamed "The Unabombshell," showed off an impressive rack ... of chips.

Exclusive: Cheadle Takes on "Miles"

Breaking News: TMZ has learned that Oscar-nominated actor Don Cheadle ("Hotel Rwanda") plans to direct and star in "Miles Davis," a biopic of the legendary jazz innovator.
Don Cheadle and Miles DavisWhat's more, Cheadle has hired the Oscar-nominated screenwriting and producing duo, Chris Wilkinson and Steve Rivele ("Nixon"), a pair of lit heavyweights who adapted the life story of boxing's greatest heavyweight, Muhammad Ali, for Michael Mann's "Ali."

Himself a devotee of boxing, Davis would likely have approved. When Miles was making landmark jazz fusion recordings like "Bitches Brew" and "In a Silent Way," he was also contributing extensively to the soundtrack of a 1970 documentary about legendary African-American pugilist, Jack Johnson.

The Davis project has been an idea held dear by Cheadle for the last half dozen years, but until now, a music rights issue threatened to block its progress to the screen. No more.
