The old saying goes: "Time is money" -- and it's not worth Dr. Dre's time to collect the money owed to him by the State of California. 
According to the website for the California State Controller's Office, Dre (real name Andre Young) is owed $132.98 in back wages.
Dre's beats are in such high demand, it would probably cost him more money to try and collect it.
It appears Dr. Dre isn't exactly a "Dittohead" -- 'cause when we asked the rap icon how he felt about the drama between Rush and the NFL, Dre had four simple words: "Man ... f**k Rush Limbaugh."

No longer keeping his muscled bod on the down low, Timbaland brought sexyback by accentuating his jewels with a slimming little black tank! While Maroon 5's formerly scrawny lead singer/gigolo rocked his buff shoulders and biceps in a regulation hipster vest. It's getting harder to breathe!

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleges that SLS International, Pentgram Design, Inc., Jibe Audio and Steve Lamar pulled a "classic 'bait and switch.'" The suit claims the defendants "failed and refused to perform under the contract" and went forward with a plan to sell the "Beats" headphones through a separate company. Iovine and Dre are seeking damages of "at least $1,000,000" and an injunction that prevents the defendants from manufacturing and selling headphones using the "Beats" trademark and design.
TMZ has obtained a lawsuit filed by recording industry heavyweights Jimmy Iovine, chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records, and rapper/producer Dr. Dre against a Delaware company that they say was supposed to "manufacture, market and distribute a line of headphones" that was to be called "Beats by Dr. Dre."
