Axl Rose is accusing Dr Pepper of doing the same thing he did for nearly 17 years: Screwing people out of what they were promised.
Rose is accusing Pepper of profiting off the Guns N' Roses name, after the soda company's website malfunctioned during their free Dr Pepper giveaway on Sunday. The 20 oz. handouts were a promise made by Pepper if "Chinese Democracy" ever hit the shelves.
Axl's lawyers are demanding full-page apologies in four major newspapers, an extended period of time to collect on the free suds and payment for unauthorized use the GN'R name.

In these hard economic times, we will all benefit from a doctor's misdiagnosis of Guns N' Roses.
The honchos at Dr. Pepper made a promise back in March that everyone would get free soda if G'N'R released another album.
It seemed like a good bet, after Axl Rose made false promises for 17 years.
But the day has come, so everyone can now log onto DrPepper.com and get a free 20 oz soda. But they're not making it easy -- they'll send you a coupon that will get to you in 4 to 6 weeks. Bastards.

YouTube phenom Tay Zonday, a baritone William Hung without the pitch problems, made a splash with his doofy rendition of "Chocolate Rain." Now, Tay-Z is back with a blinged-out video choc-full of strippers, rappers -- and product placement?
