Sure, "Everybody Loves Raymond" -- but Ray Romano's wife wasn't lovin' him enough to give him a lil' sumpin' sumpin' after partying Saturday night.

This weekend in front of The Ebell theater, a sweaty Ray asked wifey Anna "Are we gonna have sex tonight or not?" -- and was denied faster than Tara Reid at Hyde.

Now we know why they didn't call the show "Everybody Loves Patricia." Ray Romano's "Everybody Loves Raymond" co-star, Patricia Heaton, is being sued by a former personal assistant who claims the actress fired her and then stiffed her for good measure.
Jennifer Lee claims she worked for Patricia from August 2007 to March 2009, earning $770 a week. Jennifer says she was hired to work 15-20 hours a week but had to work a lot more.
Lee says friction developed after she asked about her unpaid wages -- when Patricia said Lee's child was "becoming a problem" because of the work schedule. Lee says Patricia was unsympathetic, firing her and saying "things might have been different" if Lee didn't have a child.
In the end, Lee claims Patricia owes her at least $7,425 in unpaid wages. On top of that Lee wants her overtime and additional expenses paid.
We particularly like one line in Lee's lawsuit: "If the rich and famous wish to employ individuals to cater to their every need, they must also refrain from violating California's wage and hour laws."

Didn't Joaquin Phoenix have a different name before?
Yes, Ivette, Joaquin used to answer to another name -- Leaf! But it was not his birth name. He has always been Joaquin, but used the alias Leaf as a child and as a young actor. Around 1989, he dropped that name and returned to Joaquin.
That said, Joaquin will next be seen in "We Own the Night" with Mark Wahlberg, Robert Duvall and Eva Mendes. He will also star with Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Connelly in the thriller "Reservation Road." Expect both flicks out next year.

Wasn't Patricia Heaton supposed to get a TV show?
Sal, everybody's favorite Barone is indeed supposed to continue on with her television career. "The Path to 9/11" is a mini-series documenting the events which lead up to the tragic event. She can be seen here along with Donnie Wahlberg and Harvey Keitel on September 10 and 11 on ABC at 8/7c.
Her comedy pilot, however, did not get picked up, but, according to ABC president Stephen McPherson, it could be considered for a midseason replacement.

It's Brad Garrett to the rescue.
The actor will return from the West Coast to go on for Nathan Lane in this weekend's performances of "The Odd Couple," playing Friday, two performances Saturday and the Sunday matinee.
Lane was stricken with laryngitis earlier this week, forcing the cancellation of three performances.
Garrett played Murray the cop when the revival of the Neil Simon comedy opened last October and was Lane's understudy as the messy Oscar Madison. The actor, best known for his role on television's "Everybody Loves Raymond," left the production Jan. 1 to return to his family in California.
Garrett will star opposite Matthew Broderick, who portrays Felix Ungar in the show, which has now been extended through June 4.
Lane is expected to return next Tuesday.
