Turns out Foxy Brown's jail stay was nicer than your last vacation.
Ms. Brown, who did nine months at Rikers Island after beating two nail-salon manicurists, was allowed to wear Gucci sneakers and a Fendi scarf, according to a great story in the New York Post.
When the stuff got soiled, the sycophantic jailers just replenished her supply. As the story goes -- the jailers also facilitated a photo shoot for Foxy.
The jailers were constantly in her cell. According to one Post source "they were in her cell day and night" -- whatever she wanted she got.

He's got more custody of his kids with Britney, but that didn't stop K-Fed from going to the Maxim Hot 100 bash last night.
Also out in L.A.: Chris Evans acted a fool, Dave Navarro jaywalked right in front of a cop, Ashley Olsen hid, a whole buncha "Idol" rejects got their last minute of fame, Paris was the quintessential Beverly Hills princess and Jenna Jameson considered herself "normal."
In NY: Kristin Davis recommended an excellent carousel to a couple kids outside Letterman, Denise Richards shot down Sheen sperm rumors and Foxy Brown proved her rap skills were a little rusty.

TMZ has learned that Foxy Brown's diva-tastic exit from prison Friday was both highly unusual -- and totally by the book.
The rapperista got her ride out of Rikers in a black SUV by City Councilman Charles Barron -- which is not SOP because newly ex-cons are usually shuttled to freedom on a city bus. Yes, that nice lady next to you on the Q101 could be a convicted felon!
But since Barron was a city employee, it was completely and entirely by the rules for him to do so. In fact, we're told that the Dept. of Corrections was absolutely obsessed with making sure nothing was out of line for Foxy's exit, right up until she saw her mama.

Jailbird Foxy Brown wanted to go to California to have her ears checked, but a Manhattan judge ruled she can have them treated right here in NYC.
Judge Melissa Jackson, calling the motion "desperate and frivolous," said Foxy "failed to provide proof" that a coast-to-coast trip was necessary.
Now she'll have to get the green light from the Department of Corrections -- and then the Department of Health -- to get her hearing treated in NYC.
Foxy's serving a one-year sentence on Rikers Island for violating her probation on assault charges from 2006.

Did you ever think you'd hear the words "Foxy Brown" and "good behavior" in the same sentence?
Well, here goes: TMZ has learned that rapperista Foxy Brown has been let out of "punitive segregation" early -- for -- yes -- "good behavior" while in solitary. She was supposed to do 76 days in the unit, but only did 40 days. We're told that she was one of four female inmates given early release among the 20-plus in the unit, and our source stressed that she received neither celebrity nor holiday treatment.
Foxy (real name: Inga Marchand) got herself thrown into solitary for shoving another inmate and refusing to give a urine sample, but we're told that she was compliant and cooperative. Do you believe in miracles?

Foxy Brown landed herself in solitary at Rikers, but before you go fretting for Foxy, we're not exactly talking "Shawshank Redemption" here.
Foxy has been ordered to go into what's called "punitive segregation" at the Rose M. Singer women's prison on Rikers Island, as the New York Post reported this morning.

Now here's a news flash -- Foxy Brown actually made it to court this morning, and on time!
Brown, real name Inga Marchand, was in court today -- sporting no hair extensions and a relatively demure plaid pant outfit -- to face arraignment on assault charges -- four days after her originally scheduled appearance, which she missed. Her lawyer said today that Foxy was never scheduled for transport from her prison cell at Rikers Island and that's why she missed the first hearing, but TMZ was told that she didn't want to leave Rikers without her hair and makeup done and without eating lunch.

The walking tornado known as Foxy Brown caused a serious storm in court this morning, with defense lawyers begging to quit, with cops and witnesses from all over the tri-state area convening for the hearing.
Foxy's in Manhattan Criminal Court so the judge can determine how long she should spend in the slammer after violating her probation stemming from an assault on a manicurist in 2004, including an alleged attack in Brooklyn and a traffic violation in New Jersey. A source in the courtroom said Foxy was offered a nine-month sentence, but she hasn't taken it yet. Her new defense lawyer, we're told, has been trying to get her to take the deal -- but not before she tried to get taken off the case. Judge Jackson is making her and another lawyer, Alan Stutman, stick with Foxy.

TMZ has learned that Foxy Brown is headed to Rikers Island, after a Manhattan judge ordered the three-months-pregnant rapper to serve time for violating her probation.
We're told that just minutes ago, Judge Melissa Jackson remanded Brown to the custody of the state, and threw her in the clink until her next hearing Sept. 7. Brown had been on probation on assault charges, but two incidents in recent weeks violated her probation, thus leading Judge Jackson to send Foxy to jail.
A source tells TMZ that Foxy's face was "priceless" when the judge handed down her decision, and that Brown and her lawyer had not expected to see jail time. It has yet to be determined where Brown will be held, but Brown was booked at Manhattan Criminal Court and handed over to authorities.
In court, Brown revealed that she is three months pregnant, and that she plans to get married.
UPDATE: Stephen Morello of the Department of Corrections tells TMZ that Foxy will be housed at the Rose M. Singer Center, a women's jail on Rikers Island. We're told that, because of her celebrity status, she may be housed in a cell, as opposed to with other inmates, and could have an escort when she leaves her cell. She's in the facility right now and is undergoing the "intake" process, we're told.

Much maligned rapper diva Foxy Brown hasn't been seen or heard from in more than a week, according to her friends and family. Page Six reports that Brown's lawyer, State Sen. Jack Sampson, along with her family and friends, are all concerned.
Brown, real name Inga Marchand, was last spotted on Friday, June 29, on a flight bound for London. Her fellow passengers reported that she held up the plane for almost an hour while members of her entourage boarded.
Only days before Brown's June 29 sighting, TMZ reported Foxy was the victim of a bad beating, in which her hearing aid was destroyed and portions of her weave were ripped out.
"We're all trying to find Foxy," said Sampson.
