From the looks of this video, Angelina Jolie would rather be getting a root canal then talking to Ryan Seacrest. Answering inane questions can really wear on a girl.

Sometimes you need something to take the edge off. Which begs the question: What's Paula using to take the edge off?

Dude, if you get in trouble for saying a bad word, the last thing you want to do is go on an internationally televised awards show and say it again. Is GLAAD mad at Isaiah for being homophobic or dumb? Answer: both.

What do big stars do after the after-parties are over? If you're J.Lo and Marc Anthony, you hit up the McDonald's drive-thru! ¡Tenemos hambre!

After partying with TomKat and Posh at the Golden Globe's elaborately catered events, America's royal Latin couple had a hankering for some Mickey D's, and headed for a Happy Meal at a Hollywood golden arches at 3:30 AM.

After last week's anti-camera shopping spree at a Golden Globe swag event, Leonardo DiCaprio continued to prove his distaste for American cameras as he buried himself in a coat while making his way through LAX.

However, his hatred seemed to magically transform over a long international flight; when the superstar landed in Japan, he was suddenly photog-friendly, waving and smiling for waiting paparazzi at Tokyo's International Airport.
Why the big change, Leo-San?

Nicole Richie dumped her brown hair for a shade more stereotypically suited to her wrong-way driving.

The miniscule celeb slipped into a West Hollywood salon on Monday to blonde up her locks -- perhaps she needed a new look for a Golden Globes party ... or court.

The nominees should be there. Their significant others should be there. Presenters, past winners, movie and TV legends; they can be there too. But some people just have no business being at the Golden Globes.

From former MTV VJs to washed-up reality stars, check out which "stars" had us wondering, "What are THEY doing at the Golden Globes?"

Did you ever think you'd see the night when Sean "Diddy" Combs struggled to get into an after-party, but 61-year-old Helen Mirren would breeze right past the velvet rope?
It happened last night at the Sunset Tower Hotel. Diddy arrived at the party, but met with resistance. He got into a pretty heated conversation with a guy who looked like the head of security for the hotel. Several uniformed guards stood by as Diddy haggled with security and talked on his phone. How many times do you think he said, "Do you know who I am?"
About five minutes after Diddy arrived, Mirren, who won two Globes earlier in the evening, was greeted with open arms by the same security guard who stiff-armed Diddy. Mirren was then ushered in -- right past him!! Sometimes, it's good to be "The Queen."

Although Monday's Golden Globe Awards proved to be a winning night for some Dreamgirls, a Queen and even a Prince, the same can't be said for the fashions.

From ill-fitting gowns to risky tuxedo failures, wardrobe malfunctions were plentiful. Check out which stars' outfits didn't win any awards --and wound up laying golden eggs.

Sacha Baron Cohen -- aka Borat -- proved that he doesn't need a smelly gray suit and a faux Kazakh accent to be uproariously funny.

Accepting the award last night for best actor in a comedy or a musical, Cohen brought the house to tears (of laughter) by slipping into a mock-serious appreciation of "the dark side of America," referring of course to his "Borat" co-star and his testicles and "rancid bubbles" of air that had been trapped in bodily crevices unsealed for decades and ... oh, hell, just watch.
As Borat himself would exclaim, "Wa wa wee wa!"

In Hollywood, green is the new black! After Jake Gyllenhaal, Eva Longoria and Sarah Jessica Parker do the black tie Golden Globes banquet, they'll be celebrating the actual globe at the "Greenest Party on Earth."

The Beverly Hills bash, sponsored by E! and the Environmental Media Association, will feature recycled party decor, sustainable plants and flowers, and a menu consisting entirely of organic food. Pass the salt! A tree will be planted for each party attendee, which will go toward offsetting the carbon emissions generated by the soiree. Al Gore will be so proud!
Celebs like Paris Hilton, Lance Bass and Adam Brody will also be getting their ecological groove on to the sounds of DJ AM. Try doing that at Hyde!
The A-list ecofest takes place on the site of a former Robinsons-May department store, which is being turned into an environmentally sustainable, high-end luxury residence called 9900 Wilshire. Unfortunately, for most of us, it takes a lot of green to live green!

Over each of the past four years, I have worked as one of the people handing out the gift bags at the Golden Globes. I cannot keep from laughing when I recall some of the stories I have heard from attendees of such a prestigious event when trying to obtain one of the coveted bags. And throughout the course of the evening, as more and more alcohol is consumed, these stories increase in urgency, importance and emotion.
I'm still amazed at how many creative, needy, sad and desperate stories are told in the hopes of being rewarded with a gift bag. It's almost like judging a junior high drama contest. Because, you see ... there are strict rules that no gift bags are to be handed out without a ticket stub from the actual ceremony. End of story.
OK, but my story doesn't end there.
The experiences which emerge from this fly on the wall perspective at the Globes, makes for some great storytelling.

NEW YORK -- The evasive move to Monday by NBC's "63rd Annual Golden Globes Awards" may have given it a slight boost in the ratings over last year's telecast, which battled ABC's "Desperate Housewives"-led Sunday-night juggernaut.
But this year, the Globes broadcast faced a different daunting rival: the final two hours of the four-hour launch of the new season of Fox's thriller "24."
Monday, the three-hour "Golden Globes" drew 18.7 million viewers, according to preliminary Nielsen Media Research figures, up about 2 million viewers from last year's total.
But "24" attracted a robust 14.9 million viewers, helping keep NBC's gains to a minimum.
By comparison, in 2004 -- pre- "Housewives" and the increasingly popular "Grey's Anatomy" -- the Globes broadcast drew 26.8 million viewers.
Final numbers for this year's faceoff are due Wednesday.
Last August, NBC announced it would move "The Golden Globes" from its traditional Sunday perch to Monday to steer clear of ABC's dual drama threat.
NBC is halfway through a 10-year contract with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to air the party-like awards show.

Four news services, including The Associated Press, are refusing to pay a $1,200 fee imposed by NBC for photographs taken by the network inside the ballroom during the Golden Globe Awards.
The director of photography for NBC Universal Television Entertainment, Eric van der Werff, sent an e-mail Monday to AP, Reuters, Agence France-Presse, Getty News Service and WireImage. It said that NBC imposed the fee because it bought a new computer server and is providing technical support for distribution of the "handout" photos.
The Golden Globes, airing Monday night on NBC, are presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which has a long-standing rule of allowing only one NBC photographer inside the ballroom. This year the NBC photographer is Paul Drinkwater.
Of the five affected agencies, only WireImage had paid the fee by Friday.

LOS ANGELES -- Hollywood has a term for the celebrity hoopla that precedes its big parties, such as the Academy Awards and Golden Globes. On the red carpet heading in, it's known as "arrivals."
Monday's 63rd annual Globes usher in an awards season heavy on stars new to the game, young actors in breakout roles and veterans who have finally arrived.
Sure, the lineup includes plenty of perennials such as past Oscar winners or nominees Russell Crowe, Gwyneth Paltrow, Shirley MacLaine, Charlize Theron, Johnny Depp, Frances McDormand, Judi Dench and Laura Linney.
But among the front-runners are dual-nominee Felicity Huffman, respected character actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and rising star Heath Ledger. Other old hands and fresh faces catching their first serious awards attention include Ziyi Zhang, Keira Knightley, Terrence Howard, David Strathairn, Matt Dillon, Cillian Murphy, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams.
It's even turned out to be a breakout year of sorts for an actor as big as George Clooney, a past Globe winner for "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and a three-time TV nominee for "ER."

It's not easy to bling brightly on the red carpet these days. When your name is Charlize, Eva or Nicolette, you don't just roll out of bed and decide what you're going to wear that night. It often takes months of planning -- and usually by well-trained stylists (you hope) -- to construct the perfect awards-night look.
So what's going to be the hot look this season?
Old Hollywood glamour, says jewelry and style expert Michael O'Connor. "It's going to be about sleek dresses and elegance," he told TMZ at the Platinum Guild International suite at the Luxe Hotel in Beverly Hills. "For women, rich colors are back. And when it comes to jewelry for both men and women, it's not blingy for the sake of bling, but rather classic looks."
