Ledger's Dad -- Thinking About an Oscar Speech
The entire Ledger family touched down in L.A. yesterday -- and after the flight from Australia, his father, Kim, said if Heath wins, he might be the guy doing the talking.
Matilda would reportedly get the Oscar when she turns 18. Kim said they would gladly hold onto it until then.

Heath Ledger's Entire Estate Left to Daughter
After months of closed-door court meetings -- all of Heath Ledger's estimated $20 mil estate will go to his 2-year old daughter Matilda Rose.
According to news reports, Heath's dad Kim Ledger says the will originally had all the assets divided up to his parents and sisters, but Heath's family thought the right thing to do was to give it all up -- for the benefit of Matilda.
Heath Ledger died of an accidental prescription pill overdose in January.

Mary-Kate a Red Herring in Ledger-Gate
The investigation into Heath Ledger's death is officially case closed -- and no one could be happier than one Mary-Kate Olsen. 
The "Full House" billionaire was expected to be a part of a D.E.A. investigation into the Joker's suspicious death earlier this year. After Ledger's masseuse found the body, she used the star's cell phone to dial MK three times before hitting up 911. But with the case officially closed, Olsen's now off the hook -- which means the Feds don't believe she had anything to do with the two painkilling drugs found in Ledger's system at the time of his death.
Now Mary-Kate can focus on getting her security deposit back from that whole kitchen disaster.

A chi-chi party that is being thrown one floor above the place Heath Ledger died has just been 86'd.
We're told the building owners weren't informed Calvin Klein was throwing a glitzy, tight-invite soiree tonight in the penthouse, one floor above the unit where Ledger lived and died.
Owners just shut down the shindig. Eva Mendes, who was the party's main attraction, was the only celeb who had arrived before the party was broken up. We're told a fleet of 25 BLS limos arrived to shuttle guests to a different location.

Heath Ledger: Broker Than a Joker?
Could it be that one of the hottest actors in Hollywood barely had a pot to piss in when he died? If reports out of Australian papers are to be believed, Heath Ledger was only worth $145,000 at the time of his death.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the total value of Heath's estate is "$145,000, with furniture and fixtures worth $20,000, a Toyota Prius worth $25,000 and $100,000 in miscellaneous bank accounts." It also names Heath's father, mother and sisters as the only beneficiaries, but acknowledges his two-year-old daughter Matilda Rose as an interested party.
What this doesn't jibe with is family sources are telling TMZ that Matilda will be "well taken care of." So, where's the money?

Heath Ledger's Treasured Van Stolen
Heath Ledger's father Kim -- who is sorting out his deceased son's estate -- has discovered that Heath's cherished 1975 green Volkswagen van was stolen around the time of his death, and his father desperately wants it back.
According to news.com.au, Kim reported the stolen van to Australian police last Friday. Heath had reportedly given the van to a long-time friend for safekeeping when he moved to the U.S. from Australia.
Because of Heath's celebrity and mass vehicle upgrades, the van is now valued at $70,000.

Fake Heath Dad Sicko Calls FOX in NY
A twisted impostor claiming to be Heath Ledger's dad called FOX's New York affiliate looking for info just after the actor's death -- and tried to obtain his ex-girlfriend Naomi Watts' number from the station.
The unnamed caller was taped telling a reporter that Ledger's death was a "mistake" and claimed that Ledger loved daughter Matilda "to bits," among his other fabrications. TMZ spotted Ledger's dad, Kim -- the real one -- today at Heath's SoHo apartment, where he stayed for about an hour and left.
Reports have claimed that the impostor called Tom Cruise and the funeral home where Heath was taken, as well as the cops and medical examiner. Halle Berry's rep says that the fake Kim Ledger did not call Halle, and TMZ has contacted reps for John Travolta and Mel Gibson, who were also said to have been contacted.
