Reach Out and Touch a Celeb

Rainn WilsonEver feel like asking Rainn Wilson how much of a nerd he is compared to his character Dwight on "The Office?" Or maybe you've been itching to talk to Fonzie ever since "Happy Days" went off the air. Well thanks to the nice people over at Skype, your time has come.

Teaming up with parent company eBay, Skype is auctioning off a chance to talk to celebrities on the phone. Not just any phone; a Skype phone that will allow them to see the celebrity on the other end, so you know that Rob Lowe isn't fixing himself a snack instead of focusing all his attention on your "West Wing" questions.

Participating celebrities include Kristen Bell, Adam Duritz of Counting Crows, Seth MacFarlane ("Family Guy"), Rachel Bilson (The OC) and the entire cast of Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101." It's a good chance you'll find someone you really want to chat.

Proceeds from the auctions will benefit The Young Storytellers Foundation, a Los Angeles based arts education organization.

Celebs Gather to Put the 'Giving' in Thanksgiving

With 2,500 pounds of roast turkey at their disposal, stars like Henry Winkler and Melissa Joan Hart volunteered at the Los Angeles Mission Wednesday (Nov. 23) to help feed more than 3,000 people.

The legendary Kirk Douglas and his wife Anne served as hosts of the event. If you watch the hilarious video on the right, you'll see that playing host apparently allows you to help yourself to some dark meat as well.
