Larry Johnson -- Sacked in Kansas City

Larry Johnson The Kansas City Chiefs have officially kicked Larry Johnson to the curb -- cutting the running back from the NFL team in the wake of his gay slur scandal.

Johnson was just 75 yards away from becoming the team's all-time leading rusher when he was suspended last month, and now it seems he'll remain number two.

The move to chop Johnson gives Chiefs fans one thing to cheer about this season -- in the last few days, tons of KC fans signed a petition to get rid of the running back.

Johnson had used the homophobic f-word in verbal attacks twice in two days -- he also publicly ripped the team's coach.

He also sucks now ... so the team should be better off without him anyway.

GLAAD to NFL: Punish Larry Johnson

Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson is in hot water with GLAAD -- after the former NFL Pro-Bowler reportedly dropped the homophobic f-bomb twice in the last 24 hours.

Larry Johnson
President of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation Jarrett Barrio is calling for the NFL to take action against Johnson, saying "All too often this is the word that is used to ridicule and harass young gay and transgender athletes on local sports fields across America.

Professional athletes who use this word need to be held accountable for feeding a climate of intolerance toward our community. NFL officials need to take action and condemn this and future uses of this anti-gay epithet
."

Earlier today, it was reported Johnson hurled the slur at a group of reporters after he had already used the same f-word to attack someone on Twitter.

Joe Francis Lets Gay Slur Go Wild

A ticked off Joe Francis shouted a homophobic slur at a Voyeur doorman last night after getting denied from the club -- dropping the f-bomb less than a week after he was a one-man pride parade at the Equality March in DC.

Ironic coming from a guy who, in this video, is completely fixated on what's going on between Brody Jenner's legs.

Maybe Joe should read Jane Velez-Mitchell's book, "I Want" -- the pictures aren't what he's used to, but who knows ... he may get the point.

Mickey Rourke -- 'I Meant What I Said'

Mickey Rourke should quit while he's ahead. But he's not even ahead, so he should just quit.

Rourke offered up a ton of reasons to our guy in New York yesterday for why he has no problem saying the word f**got -- even going as far as playing the "I have more gay friends than any 50 straight people I know" card.

On Friday, we asked if Mickey was homophobic -- 60% said yes. How 'bout now?

GLAAD: Mickey Rourke Is 'Painfully Ignorant'

Mickey RourkeThe president of The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) just personally issued the following statement, condemning Mickey Rourke for defending the use of the homophobic f-word:

"This is a slur that, regardless of what Mickey Rourke has convinced himself that it means, is often the last word that gay people, and gay youth in particular, hear before they're bullied, harassed or assaulted.

Rourke is showing himself to be painfully ignorant of how this vulgar, abusive slur feeds a climate of anti-gay hatred, intolerance and violence.

Rourke either needs to figure this out, or media needs to stop giving him a platform for promoting these kinds of slurs.
"

Carrie Prejean -- The Origin of Homophobia

Carrie PrejeanSo how does a beauty queen turn into the poster child against gay marriage? In the case of Miss California Carrie Prejean, the answer may lie in an ugly divorce that may have cemented her views on gay relationships.

Carrie's parents filed for divorce in 1988 and the divorce and custody fights went on for more than a decade -- it was a divorce filled with homosexual allegations hurled by both sides.

In one of the docs, Carrie's dad describes a confrontation he had with her mom in 1996, in which he recounts an argument in a restaurant parking lot, where "Ms. Prejean accused me, in front of our daughter, of homosexuality."

The papers also quote a court-appointed doctor who said "The mother questioned [within hearing of the girls] whether [her father] was a homosexual or had a homosexual roommate."

Carrie's mom says the "gay" allegations went both ways. In court papers dated May 16, 2000, a report from the court-appointed counselor says "The mother also alleges the father told the girls their stepfather was gay, that all men with mustaches are gay." The father's response: "The father acknowledges talking with the girls about the stepfather's brother being gay, not the stepfather."

Launch PhotosAlso in the docs -- a handwritten letter from Carrie's older sister, in which she recounts a weekend stay with her dad: "One time my sister & I went in the hallway of my dad's apartment, & his roommate's door was open all the way & we saw [the roommate] in bed with another man. I don't think it's right for my sister & I to have to live that way."

So does Carrie believe gays broke up her parents' marriage? We called her rep ... no comment so far. We could not reach Carrie's dad for comment.

For the record, there are other allegations -- absolutely hideous -- in the divorce and custody papers -- which we have elected not to publish.

Mickey Gays Out -- Kisses Man, Offends Others

This is some of the most bizarre footage we've ever seen -- YOU GOTTA SEE THIS.

Mickey Rourke: Click to watch
Leaving Paris Hilton's birthday party at Butter last night, Mickey went off on an unprovoked "pro-gay" rant -- attempting to crack gay joke after gay joke.

It was all a bit awkward, but things really got strange when Mickey dragged a random fan into the attempted gay humor, kissing him on the face and then telling him, "I'm gonna kiss you all night long."

The stunned fan's shocked and confused look says it all.

Rourke then says, "Don't we look good together? I should have been in that gay movie ... I should have been in Milk." Yeah, probably a good thing he wasn't.

Rourke did, however, peel off some cash to a homeless dude -- but even that exchange was just weird.

Hottest Videos -- Week of 11/19

Michael Richards
Whats the deal with Michael Richards? The former "Senifeld" star unleashed a tirade of racial slurs toward a group of African-American audience members who heckled the "comedian." Warning: This video is profane and racial.
Jay-Z / Beyonce
Maybe Beyonce hates the crowded conditions of the Area nightclub, or perhaps she was just tuckered out from slaughtering defenseless animals for her fur coats. Whatever the reason, it didn't stop her man Jay-Z from having fun while Beyonce sat in the car for 40 minutes, presumably adjusting the stereo pre-sets.

Caution: Don't Act Tres Gay on 'American Idol'

At a time when gay-romance movie 'Brokeback Mountain' has become a monster hit with American audiences, it's ironic that homosexuality may not be as welcome on America's most popular TV show, 'American Idol' on FOX.

Effeminate male contestants often sing at their own peril. "I don't mean this disrespectfully... shave off your beard and wear a dress," scowling judge Simon Cowell told rejected 'Idol' wannabe Charles Berry. Fellow judge Randy Jackson had this pointed question for Zachary Travis, another reject: "Are you a girl?"

'Idol' has not exactly adopted the 'Seinfeld' mantra: "Not that there's anything wrong with it." 'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest and Cowell have frequently traded on-air insults, each implying the other is gay.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has issues with 'American Idol's' tone. A GLAAD spokesperson told TMZ: "GLAAD is reaching out to the show's producers to discuss our concerns - and the concerns of community members and allies - who have contacted us about this matter."

Jim Verraros, a gay finalist from 'American Idol's' first season, feels the tone comes from the top. Verraros tells TMZ, "I honestly think that if I had come out [as gay] while I was on the show, FOX would've edited it out."

The criticism of 'American Idol' and FOX is countered with powerful evidence that the program actually showcases gay performers. Indeed, one finalist, widely rumored to be gay, went very far in one of the competitions.
