Larry Birkhead was asked today whether the prosecutor in the case tried to unfairly influence him.
During cross examination, Ellyn Garafalo, the lawyer for Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, asked Birkhead if Deputy DA Sarah Slice cornered him in the hallway last Friday and accused him of taking Howard K. Stern's side when he testified. Birkhead acknowledged the conversation and felt chastised.
Birkhead testified Slice suggested something was developmentally wrong with Dannielynn because of Anna Nicole Smith's drug use.
Outside court, Birkhead said Dannielynn was not only fine, some doctors have told him she's advanced for her age.
And there's this ... Birkhead testified he's raked in around $2 million from media outlets.
The best part -- the prosecutor was asking about reality shows, and the judge jumped in .... "I don't care about that unless it has to do with a balloon or something."

We've learned comedian Artie Lange just pled guilty to one count driving under the influence of a habit-producing drug.
Cops say Artie -- who was pulled over in Tom's River, NJ on July 10 -- had a prescribed sleeping pill in his system when he got behind the wheel.
Lange was fined $664, his driver's license was revoked for seven months and he has to serve 12 hours in an intoxicated driver resource program.
Lange's lawyer, MIchael Grasso, says Artie pled guilty because "If we would have taken it to trial the interest of the media would have outweighed the best interests of my client."
Grasso also said the prosecution planned to call more than 10 witnesses and he would have had to counter that with a dozen witnesses of his own -- so the plea just made sense.
Brad Pitt had a brick of hash in his home last year -- and according to Quentin Tarantino ... he was definitely in the mood to share.
Tarantino was on Howard Stern yesterday, where he told the King of All Media about a night in 2008, when Pitt offered him a slice of the smokey smokey -- and a Coke can to smoke it out of.
According to Quentin, the stuff was "pretty good."

Artie Lange just pled not guilty to driving under the influence.
As we first reported, Lange was arrested on Friday after rear-ending another car in Toms River, NJ. Lange's lawyer says he passed an alcohol screening test after the crash -- but cops thought he was under the influence anyway and requested a urine sample. The results of that test aren't in yet.

Comedian Robert Schimmel was arrested this morning for allegedly committing felony domestic violence.
Cops got a call to come to Schimmel's Calabasas home at around 12:30 AM. They observed physical marks on his wife. Law enforcement tells us there was an argument that allegedly turned violent.
Schimmel, a big comic who has appeared on Howard Stern's show many times, is being held on $50,000 bail.

Criss Angel's wife, Joanne Sarantakos, filed for divorce yesterday in a Long Island court. She claims that their 15-year marriage, which Angel insisted was kept secret to boost his image to women, was destroyed by his freaky fame and his recent relationship with blonde bombshell Cameron Diaz.
The Post reports that Sarantakos' lawyer will subpoena Diaz for the divorce trial. For his part, neither Angel nor his lawyer have denied the affair.

"Crazy Cabbie" was fired from the Howard Stern Show by Sirius Satellite Radio after claiming he was in possession of a Howard Stern sex tape. Cabbie, whose real name is Lee Mroszak, says he destroyed the tape after talking to his mother, and told Page Six that he believes he was actually fired because of a pending lawsuit against the Stern show from 157 Ignite, a weight loss drug that Mroszak shills. 157 Ignite is suing after Stern claimed on-air that Mroszak looked fatter after using their product.
