Jason "Gummi Bear" Davis waddled into court today for his post heroin/DUI arrest checkup, where a judge was satisfied with Gum's progress in a Bev. Hills drug treatment program.
The oil heir was forced to pay a wallet-busting fine of $390 plus penalties and assessment -- and he has to continue rehabbin'. Outside the court, we were sure to chat with Gum Gum about everything but the matter at hand.

Gummi Bear's new make-out partner looked pleased with the nickname we came up with for her -- and it sure beats him comparing her to an "older sister." "Flowers in the Attic" anyone?
One thing they weren't happy about: Our photog breaking the news that Gum Gum lost a "Who'd You Rather" poll to bin Laden. At least he beat Mini-Me.

A little heroin isn't going to keep Jason Davis down!
Gummi Bear was sentenced to a 36-month drug program after pleading guilty to heroin possession and no contest to DUI today in a Van Nuys court. He has to see Bev Hills counselor twice a week.
He also can't be in contact with any narcotics or associate with those known to use narcotics. Guess a family reunion is out of the equation.
Even worse, he has to maintain a JOB and residence for the entire probation period! Good luck with that.

He's off the hook -- for now -- on entering a plea in his heroin possession/DUI case, but Jason Davis was still grilled about his racist, homophobic brother Brandon.
A slim (for him) Gummi showed up at court today but the matter was continued until May 12, pending results of a blood test taken the day of his arrest. BTW Gum Gum-- the glasses won't help your case.

For the love of Star Jones! Jason "Gummi Bear" Davis has mysteriously shed a ton of his trademark blubber. How'd he do that?!
After a winter of hibernation, The Bear was spotted in Beverly Hills on Wednesday looking like half the man he used to be -- literally. We'll have whatever he's (legally) havin'.
Hopefully, he'll keep it up and disappear for good!

Gummi Bear won't let a little heroin bust shoot up his social calendar.
While your average bear would go into hiding after getting charged for DUI and possession of heroin, Gummo just wanted to be seen. He stopped at The Ivy for lunch and then the photog-filled opening of Eva Longoria's restaurant, Beso.
He wouldn't say much about his arrest, except this sage piece of advice -- "Don't get stuck in a really stupid situation."

TMZ has learned Jason Davis was not at Hyde Friday night -- he was in jail! 
We've learned the grandson of the late oil gazillionaire, Marvin Davis, was stopped by LAPD traffic cops on Friday night. Cops tell us they found a controlled substance -- and then arrested Gummi and threw his ass in the pokey at around 7:30 PM.
Davis was booked at 4 AM. Law enforcement officers say he called a person he said was his stepdad who came at about 1:30 PM on Saturday and posted $10,000 bail.

Unfortunately, bears have difficulty counting. Perhaps that's why the grandbear of the late billionbear oilman Marvin Davis didn't scrounge up a tip for the valet -- and had his driver take off -- after giving the parker just $7 -- exactly the price to park a car.
