Beyonce & Jay-Z Get Real Tipsy

Beyonce and Jay-Z dropped $1200 on lunch at Nello's in NYC yesterday and left a $500 tip ... because they can.



Accompanied by an entourage of about ten bodyguards, we're told the music super tippers ordered white truffles, lobster salad and a bottle of Dom.

Think about that while eating your Mickey D's Happy Meal today.

Chris Brown Strikes the Pose

Chris Brown had a blast on a jet ski Thursday in Miami, where he's spending time with Rihanna -- the woman he allegedly beat just weeks earlier.


Chris -- who looks like he's recreating the wind up leading to the punch that left Rihanna bloodied and bruised -- doesn't seem to have a care in the world.

And here's an interesting tidbit: Rihanna is being shadowed by one of Jay Z's beefy bodyguards.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé Caught in Paparazzi Crush

A glammed up Beyoncé, along with her man Jay-Z, desperately fought through a sea of flashbulbs on their way out of a popular London hotspot yesterday. Even after they pushed their way into an awaiting Rolls Royce Phantom, the shutterbugs just wouldn't give up. In a scene that resembled the running of the bulls, the snapparazi bolted down an alley after the ultra-expensive ride, shooting photos and hollering all the way.

Before the media blitz took place, the hot couple were enjoying the Jigga Man's post-concert bash at the swanky Movida nightclub. The two love birds weren't the only famous faces in attendance, Chris Martin and wife Gwyneth Paltrow were seen dusting a little dirt off their shoulders as well.

Jay Z's Million Dollar Wheels

Fact: It's good to be Jay-Z. Really good.

The rapper hit the coast of Monaco with not one, but two ultra-expensive driving machines on Monday. Jay-Z rolled out the jet black Ferrari F430 and the silver Pagani Zonda for an upcoming video, presumably "Show Me What You Got."

Jay's first solo album in three years, "Kingdom Come," will be released on November 21. While his surprise return to music may have shocked the masses, music junkies saw it coming from miles away, especially after stars like Timbaland, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams all opened their mouths about being involved with the project. But they aren't the only artists expected to show up on the highly-anticipated album- Dr. Dre and Chris Martin of Coldplay may also lend a hand.

The $400,000 Pagani Zonda was designed to resemble the naked body of a female, so it's no wonder Mr. Big Pimpin' himself has that car in his video.

This Week's Biggest Losers 09/16/06

The Dalai Lama came through Hollywood this week to spread the peaceful word. Now if it had been to publicize a new cross-promotion campaign featuring Fabio ("I can't believe it's not Buddha"), we might have paid attention. Instead, we were preoccupied with the likes of these mere mortals.

Emilio Estevez:

During a press conference this week at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote his newest film, Bobby, the returning director, writer and co-star bemoaned his one-time fate at the hands of Disney which, in exchange for financing his 1996 flick The War at Home, insisted he also do D3: The Mighty Ducks... for free. "It was a devastating experience," he said of the inevitable D3 critical drubbing. Well cry me a Malibu river. As someone who's been around the Hollywood game for ages (since, in fact, making a debut at age 17 in the TV movie Seventeen Going on Nowhere), you know the rules. For free or for $20 mill, a BAD movie is a bad movie. KEEP UP THIS WHINING (extra up deleted) and we'll have to start referring to the Sheen clan as two and a half men.

Pre-VMA Parties

It was an especially star-studded night on Wednesday in the Big Apple, as celebs infested New York in advance of tonight's MTV Video Music Awards.

Our first stop was the gala opening of Rocpopshop, the Midtown Manhattan retail outlet of one of rap's true moguls -- Jay-Z -- where we ran into the proprietor himself. The self-proclaimed "CEO of Hip-Hop" arrived in true blinged-out fashion and stopped by the red carpet for the paparazzi, while showing off his fashion line.

Jay-Z Comes Out of Retirement

In a recent interview, rapper Jay-Z announces that he is coming out of retirement - for a while - to go on tour.

The Def Jam Records president plans to tour this September and October- but not in the U.S. He is opting instead to perform in around the world in such cities as London, Seoul, Beirut, Dubai, Johannesburg and Sydney.
Even though Jay is gearing up for an autumn  tour, running a record label and partially-owning an NBA basketball team (New Jersey Nets), he still manages to make time for his leading lady: superstar singer and actress Beyoncé Knowles.
