Joe Francis claims Brody Jenner's 115-pound girlfriend threatened to kill him during a bar fight back in August -- and now the Girls Gone Wild kingpin is suing, claiming he feared for his life.
According to the lawsuit, Francis claims he was innocently walking through a crowd of people at "Guys and Dolls" nightclub in Hollywood, when Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole suddenly struck him in the head, threw a drink on him and stated, "I'm going to kill you!"
Francis claims he was "startled and shocked" -- but then he saw Jayde reaching for a bottle. In the docs, Francis claims "in fear and apprehension of being struck a third time and that Nicole was going to carry out her threat to kill him," Joe grabbed Nicole's hair in "self-defense."
Joe claims Nicole fell to the ground -- but only because she "lost her balance on her high heels."
Later that night, Francis claims Jenner attacked him "in a jealous rage."
Francis is now suing both Brody and Jayde for battery, assault, negligence, slander, libel and false light -- because after the bar incident, Francis claims the two lied when they recounted the incident to a TMZ cameraman who was outside the club.

Jayde Nicole, Brody Jenner's girlfriend, has just filed a lawsuit against Joe Francis, alleging assault and battery.
Nicole claims in her suit, "In an intoxicated and uncontrollable rage, defendant Francis, who weighs over 200 lbs, physically attacked plaintiff Nicole, approximately 115 lbs, by pulling on her hair from behind to gain maximum control over her person and then violently shoving and/or throwing her to the ground of the nightclub like a rag-doll."
Nicole claims she suffered all sorts of injuries from the fight, including a "black-eye, swollen face, bruised ribs, sore and bruised abdomen region, bruised arms and legs, ripped-out hair, and utter emotional distress and humiliation."
She's suing for $1 million plus punitive damages.
UPDATE: TMZ has just received the following statement from Joe Francis:
"Jayde Nicole is an absolute and total liar. Her prior statements about the incident are not only slanderous and defamatory, but actionable.
It is so interesting that Jayde Nicole would hire the same attorney (Ron Richards) who represented the double murderer who kidnapped me from my Bel Air mansion at gunpoint in 2004, for which he is now serving 11 years.
The only thing that Jayde Nicole is famous for is having a tattoo of the word "respect" above her vagina ... for which we all know she has none of."
Francis added, "Jayde have you seen a picture of me lately? I'm 175 lbs. soaking wet."

The epic fight between Brody Jenner and his GF Jayde Nicole on one side -- and Girls Gone Wild honcho Joe Francis on the other -- was caught on tape, and score one for Francis, according to sources.
We're told the video -- shot at Guys and Dolls in West Hollywood earlier this month -- shows Jayde throwing a drink at Francis and then Joe grabbing her hair. You see Jayde fall to the ground but Francis never lays another hand on her. The video shows that she was trampled in the ensuing crush.
Jayde filed a police report alleging Francis repeatedly hit and kicked her, but the tape doesn't support the claim.
The case is still under investigation.

Hours after Joe Francis got into a violent confrontation with Brody Jenner and his gf Jayde Nicole, cops responded to a 911 call that could help authorities determine -- who's lying and who's truth-telling.
The bar fight went down early morning 10 days ago. According to Jenner ... Francis was harassing his former girlfriend Abbey Wilson when Jayde poured a drink on him and all hell broke loose. In the end, Jenner punched Francis in the face and Francis' peeps allegedly returned the favor by tasing Brody.

Additional text messages show there's more to the Joe Francis story.
TMZ spoke with Francis' rep, who told us, "Abbey Wilson, Joe's ex-girlfriend that he lived with for almost a year, has a little problem telling the whole truth ... Abbey conveniently omitted the last part of that text message which puts everything in context."
The text message reads: 'Also remember jade hit you the last time, don't lie for them."
Francis' rep says, "Joe would never coach a witness but simply wanted Miss Wilson to tell the truth about the incident and put aside her vendetta towards Joe for breaking up with her and asking her to move out of his home."
Francis' rep added, "Joe has bigger fish to fry and is sick of this whole thing and just wishes that his ex-girlfriend would just leave him alone and go back to Oklahoma and quit trying to make herself famous."

Joe Francis is sticking to his story about his brawl with Brody Jenner -- and he's already taking steps to make sure the key witness is on the same page as him.
TMZ has obtained a text message from Joe to Abbey Wilson -- his ex-girlfriend who triggered the melee -- sent just hours after the incident.
The text was sent August 28 at 1:11 PM -- the incident happened in the early hours of that same day. Joe wrote:
"Your statement is the truth. That jade threw a drink on me when I was talking to you and I reached around to tap on her shoulder to see who it was. Brody then grabed [sic] my shirt and ripped it partialy [sic] off. I curled up in a ball and covered my face. Joe never touched anyone!!!!!!! Most important!!!!!"

It's the moment of truth in the whole Joe Francis vs. Jayde Nicole and Brody Jenner fiasco -- we're told cops now have security camera footage showing what really went down inside a Hollywood club last week.
Law enforcement sources tell us the L.A. County Sheriff's Department is currently reviewing the footage from Guys and Dolls, the place where the Battle Royale occurred early Friday morning.
Here are both sides of the story: Jayde says Joe pulled her hair, threw her down, punched her in the face and then kicked her. Joe admits that he pulled Jayde's hair -- after she threw a drink on him -- but that he never laid a finger on her otherwise.
Both claim the security footage backs up their story.

Brody Jenner's girlfriend Jayde Nicole is sticking by her side of what went down last week when she and Joe Francis got into an altercation at a Hollywood club -- saying she was "beaten in the face and body" and there are witnesses to prove it.
Jayde's rep just released this statement:
"On Friday August 28 at approximately 1:20 A.M., Jayde Nicole was the victim of a violent assault when she was attacked from behind, thrown down to the ground by her hair, and beaten in the face and body in front of multiple witnesses by a person identified as Joe Francis.
Jayde immediately reported the assault to the police and is continuing to cooperate fully in the ongoing police investigation of Mr. Francis. Because of the ongoing criminal investigation of Mr. Francis, it will be inappropriate to comment further at this time out of respect for the law enforcement process.
Photographs and hospital records of Jayde's injuries and video footage of the attack clearly corroborate the crimes committed by Francis, and it is the hope of those who love and care about Jayde, that Mr. Francis will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Everyone has a story about what went down between Joe Francis, Jayde Nicole and Brody Jenner -- and now we've spoken to everyone involved.
First we caught up with Joe Francis in Santa Monica. He tells us the surveillance video will support his story -- that Brody Jenner jumped him for no reason.
Then last night we got the last piece of the puzzle -- Abbey Wilson, Joe Francis' ex-girlfriend. She claims Jayde had her back when Joe tried to make an unwanted move on her.

We just caught up with Joe Francis and it's clear he didn't escape last night's fracas with Brody Jenner unscathed.
Brody's girlfriend, Jayde Nicole, claims Joe pulled her hair and then punched and kicked her. Joe admits to pulling her hair after she poured a drink on him -- but that's it.
Joe claims Brody punched him both inside and outside of the club. No one was arrested on scene, but Jayde tells us she plans to press charges.

Joe Francis says he did not punch or kick Brody Jenner's girlfriend last night at an L.A. club -- and he says security footage of the incident backs up his story.
Joe tells us he was hanging out with the General Manager for Guys and Dolls when Jayde Nicole pushed him from behind and poured a drink on him.
Joe says he turned around and pulled her hair in reaction to the attack. Francis says this is the only contact he made with Jayde or Brody the entire time ... and security footage from inside the club shows exactly this.
Joe says Brody had punched him and ripped his shirt off. He says the club's GM then escorted him outside to the parking lot and he lit up a cigarette.
Joe says the next thing he knew, he was on the ground. He was later told Brody had blindsided him.
That's when Francis says the club's security tasered Brody.
Other sources tell us the owner of Guys and Dolls, Michael Sutton, has also reviewed the security footage -- and it backs Joe's story.

Save for a quick update on Jayde Nicole's post-fight condition, Brody Jenner wasn't saying much this morning at LAX -- the morning after Brody says his girlfriend was punched in the face and then repeatedly kicked in the gut by Joe Francis at a Hollywood club.

Brody Jenner was in an epic fight outside of Guys and Dolls this morning, with Girls Gone Wild honcho Joe Francis.
Jenner just spoke with us by phone. According to Jenner, he and his girlfriend, Jayde Nicole, were at the club celebrating his birthday, when Jayde saw Francis hitting on an ex-girlfriend of his (Francis'), Jenner says "unrelentingly." Jayde felt he was harassing the woman -- whom Jayde and Brody know -- and she threw a drink on Francis.
Jenner says Francis then pulled Jayde's hair, punched her in the face and threw her to the ground and began kicking her. Security broke it up and Francis got dragged away -- Brody followed.
Jenner says he started yelling at Francis and both men were ejected from the club.
Outside the club, Jenner says he tried to get back in to see Jayde but security wouldn't let him. Jenner then saw Joe, punched him in the face, and then someone tased him and he fell to the ground.
Francis left the scene (shown below). The cops -- who say a call came in at 2:46 AM for battery -- came but no one was arrested.
Jayde tells TMZ she will press charges against Francis.
Jayde has a black and blue cheek, her face is swollen, she has a bruised left rib and her lower abdomen is sore. Some of her hair also got pulled out.
UPDATE: Brody put the following message on his Twitter: "Joe Francis beat up my lady this morning for no reason! Pulled her to the ground, punched & kicked her..what does that say about him. How can you call yourself a man when you beat up a girl?? Joe Francis is a piece of sh*t. Joe Francis needs to be in jail!!!"
UPDATE: A rep for the club tells us, "It is Guys and Dolls policy not to comment on incidents that are being handled by the police department. We trust that this situation will be resolved both swiftly and privately."
