John Schneider's stolen car finally was recovered last night, but without its most valuable contents -- the two innocent adorable puppies he was supposed to give to his kids as a X-Mas gift.

The Cadillac Escalade was found stripped of its expensive seats and its instrument panel after it was stolen from a shopping mall in the Valley.
The two doggies -- 10-week old Marley and Paisley are still missing.

Some heartless X-mas bastard stole two of the cutest puppies ever from the guy who played Bo Duke -- and the jerk also got away with the actor's car too.

A ten-week-old Yorkie named Paisley and a ten-week-old Yorkiepoo named Marley -- future Christmas gifts for his children -- were hangin' in John Schneider's Cadillac Escalade Saturday night when some scum-bucket jacked the ride from the parking lot at the Sherman Oaks Fashion Square mall.
Schneider filed a police report for the lil' guys ... and the car too. If anyone has any info, call 310-248-6118.

Perhaps the General Lee has a mind of its own, like KITT from "Knight Rider." Perhaps the car doesn't want to leave John Schneider's side. However you make your grits, it's the never-ending car auction!

According to Schneider's rep, there was some glitch with the second refried auction and it had to be re-listed. So here it is y'all, what promises to be your last chance at owning the General Lee ... with bidding starting at $100,000.
An earlier "sale" of the car on eBay was scrubbed when a $10 million dollar bidder didn't cough up the scratch.

The General Lee made a visit to Las Vegas this weekend, but the car isn't drawing a lot of bidders in its eBay auction -- none so far, in fact -- and the auction closes May 29.
"Dukes of Hazzard" star John Schneider, still a hottie at 53, escorted the car to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where they're making a pre-auction appearance -- perhaps the final one before the car sells ... hopefully for real this time!
The car went back on the block last week, but so far, the $100,000 starting price hasn't had a nibble. The car had gotten a bid of nearly $10 million in a previous auction, but the bidder flaked.

John Schneider put the General Lee up for sale a few weeks ago, and it "sold" on eBay for almost $10 million ... until the bidder turned out to be a chump!

Now the "Dukes of Hazzard" car is going back on eBay, but this time John "Bo Duke" Schneider has contracted a private company to pre-approve all bidders in advance of the sale, which started May 19.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Pepperdine University's Boone Center for the Family.

There will be three more seasons of "Lost," and most likely, three more "Spider-Man" movies. But here at the Z List, we're much more intrigued by the fact that Eddie Murphy is now working on a big screen version of "Fantasy Island" -- with the screenwriters responsible for "Norbit." Da Pain! Da Pain!
Tom Sizemore: The actor was in Bakersfield, CA to film the low-budget "American Graffiti" knockoff "American Son," and he decided to take a detour on Tuesday for a lost episode of his VH1 reality TV series, "Shooting Sizemore." After film co-star and parolee Jason Salcido challenged a hotel desk clerk to a fight, Sizemore was caught allegedly in possession of two small bags of crystal meth and a smoking pipe, leading to an on-location booking scene at the downtown slammer.

"Dukes of Hazzard" star John Schneider issued this statement to TMZ, following the revelation that the high bidder in an auction to buy the General Lee backed out:

"As the week has progressed, it appears more and more evident that the winning bidder from my 'Bo's General Lee' auction has no intention of coming up with the promised funds. The deadline for deposit was missed on Monday and nobody is more upset or disappointed than I am. I have been on the phone with my lawyer in Century City [Calif.] all week and am taking steps to force compliance of the winning bidder to the rules and regulations of the auction. This may have been the most publicly viewed auction ever! People's word should be their bond."
Dang! That's tough talk from Bo Duke!

Shattered glass and broken parts dangled from the window of a Dodge Charger being towed by "Smallville" co-star John Schneider yesterday, after the actor was apparently shot at while driving to the premiere of his new movie, "Collier & Co."
"Near as I can tell, somebody ... was tryin' to shoot a deer and wound up shootin' the traveler!"
No one was injured in the Deliverance-like escapade. Schneider, who played Bo Duke in the classic "Dukes of Hazzard" TV series, was delighted that the bullet struck his least favorite car and, of course, not him!

TMZ has learned that '80s TV heartthrob John Schneider, who played Bo Duke in the classic "Dukes of Hazzard" TV series, was shot at (but not hit) on the way to a screening of his new movie in Enterprise, Alabama earlier today.
According to Schneider, who currently co-stars in the TV show "Smallville," he and a stunt coordinator were towing three vehicles used in the his new movie "Collier & Co.," when a deafening blast forced the men to pull over.
The two men were shocked to find that a bullet had ripped through the wing window of a Dodge Charger they were towing, which had been used as a stunt car in the film.
Despite the scare, both men were unharmed and still managed to make it on time to the sold-out premiere.
