Jon Bon Jovi: Good Genes or Good Docs?!

Jon Bon Jovi may give love a bad name, but his face doesn't.

Here's the 22-year-old Jersey boy back in 1984 (left) -- and 25 years later, the 47-year-old version at an event in NYC on Thursday (right).

His love is like good medicine.

Bono, Jovi and Bill -- Who's the Bigger Rockstar!?

It was an aging rock star convention last night as Bono, former President Bill Clinton and Jon Bon Jovi joined forces at a charity event in NYC.

Bono, Clinton, Bon Jovi

Fun fact: While 48-year-old Bono has over 20 Grammy awards, 62-year-old Clinton actually beats Bon Jovi with two Grammy wins (Best Spoken Word category) to the 47-year-old's one.

These days you don't even need to know how to sing to make it in the record biz.

Bon Jovi Sues -- Hands Off My Soul!

Jon Bon JoviJon Bon Jovi is accusing someone of trying to sell parts of his "Soul."

A former employee of the Philadelphia Soul -- the 2008 Arena Bowl champs -- is being sued by team owner Bon Jovi and his Arena League Football team for allegedly making his own version of their championship rings and selling them to the general public.

According to a lawsuit filed yesterday, Joe Krause -- a former sales manager for the team -- organized an event at which the rings were for sale. Bon Jovi alleges that the design for the ring, as well as any use of the Soul logo, belongs to him.

JBJ is suing for damages and asking for all the infringing materials to be destroyed.

Side note -- Krause sued the team and Bon Jovi last month for $125K, claiming he still should have gotten paid even though the 2009 Arena Football League season was canceled.

Bon Jovi's "Soul" Attacked in Lawsuit

Jon Bon JoviHe owns an Arena Football Team called the "Soul" -- but Jon Bon Jovi is being accused of lacking a heart when it comes to paying a former employee.

Bon Jovi is being sued by a former sales manager for the Philadelphia Soul AFL team -- which the rocker owns -- who claims he never got paid after the league decided to cancel the 2009 season.

The guy says Bon Jovi stiffed him out of $125,000 in back payments and severance.

Bon Jovi's rep had no comment.

Hillary Taps Bon Jovi For Economic Stimulus

Great news: Bon Jovi will be performing at Hillary Clinton's presidential fundraiser! Wait, didn't anyone tell her the news?

The January 15 gig at Manhattan's Town Hall is being advertised as "a final evening in support of Hillary Clinton for President Debt Relief."

Looks like there's that final matter of the $6.3 mil her campaign still owes.

Bon Jovi Sued for Giving Lyrics A Bad Name

Jon Bon Jovi is being sued for 400 bil -- yes, billion -- bucks by a Boston musician who says Jovi allegedly borrowed lyrics from his Boston Red Sox anthem entitled, "(Man I Really) Love This Team."

Samuel Bartley Steele, the front man for a band calling themselves "The Chelsea City Council," believes Bon Jovi heard his song while campaigning in Boston for John Kerry in '04, then used the lyrics in his own song entitled, "I Love This Town."

Regardless of the result, Steele really is livin' on a prayer if he thinks he's going to get that amount of cash.

A Bon Jovi spokesperson says they haven't seen the lawsuit yet.

Bon Jovi Wins Arena Football Title

Jon Bon Jovi may have seen a million faces and rocked them all, but, until now, he couldn't claim the most pointless title in footballdom: The Arena Football League Championship.
Jon Bon Jovi
Bon Jovi is the proud co-owner of the Philadelphia Soul, who won the title game today by scoring more points than the other team.

Bon Jovi -- Anatomically Incorrect

From Paris to Britney to Hilary -- and let's not forget our dear Olsens -- celebrity dolls are all the rage. It was only a matter of time before they made a Bon Jovi doll. Yes, Bon Jovi. Pre-coiffed just like Barbara Walters!
Richie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi
The good people at McFarlane Toys have created the Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora stand up "figures." They're perfect for die hard fans or as a gift for that "special" Bon Jovian in your life. The toy states that it's made for ages 13 and up. Good call! Especially since probably no one under 30 has ever heard of these guys -- unless you say, "One of them is that guy who was married to Heather Locklear and then dated Denise Richards." Even then, doubtful.

Prince in Princely Fee Concert

Let's go crazy -- Prince is in da house! Celebs forked over big bucks to see Prince perform during the Hampton's Social @ Ross concert series on Saturday.

Jon Bon Jovi was one of many who paid thousands of dollars to attend the event -- Jay-Z and a friend were right behind, cheering him on. Chatty Kelly Ripa and super hot hunk hubby Mark Consuelos, and divorcée Christie Brinkley were also among the cash splashy crowd. Kid Rock was also there to welcome his purple tininess.

Prince's new album, "Planet Earth," drops July 24.

All this and much more in today's purple rainman edition of NY Star Catcher!

[Last Center Left] aka The Guy Kobe Bryant Tried to Throw Under the Bus) sasquatched his way into Sin City this weekend, where he led the PURE nightclub crowd in a mega-sized rendition of "Living on a Prayer" from the VIP booth.
