In an exclusive interview on ManiaTV.com's "Tom Green Live," spazzy trainwreck comedian Andy Dick details the disastrous exchange between himself and fellow comedian Jon Lovitz -- that resulted in comic-on-comic violence last week.
Tricky Dick says the fight was initially a joke. "I thought. 'he's doing a funny.' One of those characters. Like 'that's the ticket. I'll throw you against the wall -- that's the ticket.' But it wasn't one of his funny little characters."
Lovitz said he hit Dick after Dick told him he put a "Phil Hartman hex on him" and told him he would be "the next to die." Hartman and Lovitz were extremely close friends.
Dick expressed sadness over Hartman's death, claiming that Hartman was the only comic friend who called him while he was in rehab for cocaine. As for Lovitz, said Dick, "The guy is trying to f**k with my livelihood. I'm like a papa bear here. He's trying to f**k with my kid's future. I feel bad that my kids have to see anything Lovitz would have to say -- let alone his bad characters."

Jon Lovitz had a stern warning for TMZ last night -- Andy Dick is on the hunt for Harvey Levin.
Lovitz, who's never really been a fan of the site, was outside The Laugh Factory in Hollywood on Wednesday night after his stand-up routine, where he was in no mood to talk to our cameras about his recent Dick-bashing. He did, however, want to start some s**t between our fearless leader and comedy's brainless wonder, saying, "I heard Andy wants to fight Harvey Levin ... well, that would be a fair fight."
Harvey would never inject himself in a battle of twits.

Jon Lovitz took to the airwaves yesterday to tell the tale of his long-standing feud with Andy Dick -- which led to a physical confrontation at a Hollywood comedy club. Eat THAT!
The former "SNL" star went on "The Dennis Miller Show" to recount events that led up to the Dick-bashing. The whole thing stems from when Lovitz took over for close friend Phil Hartman on "NewsRadio" (on which Dick co-starred), after Hartman was killed -- something Lovitz blamed on Dick. Can't we all just get along?
When Dick refused to apologize for his remarks, Lovitz finally lost it, slamming Dick against a wall several times. Dennis Miller, also a close friend of Hartman, took the opportunity to tell Lovitz what plenty of people would like to say: "Congratulations on doing that."

"Subway" spokesmuncher Jon Lovitz was perturbed by cameras in Beverly Hills the other day, and sought refuge in the ample shadow of a nearby pal.
Lovitz asked, "Are you guys TMZ?" and then hid himself entirely behind a man the size of a storage shed.
The voice of Artie Ziff was miffed when cameras pursued him further.

The Subway spokesman was taking in the sights and sounds of Miami Beach yesterday, when suddenly two topless ladies brought the sights to him.
After enjoying a nice chat with his new friends (where Jon undoubtedly paid attention to every single interesting word they had to say without distraction), the actor bid them good day and got back to more important things, like enjoying the weather.
Good thing it wasn't too nippy out.
