Karrine Steffans, the woman who wrote "Confessions of a Video Vixen," called into the Rod Ryan radio show to plug her newest book -- but instead ignited a classic on-air verbal throwdown with the Texas DJ.

Steffans slammed the host for asking about her sexual exploits with celebs like Jay-Z and Jamie Foxx -- which made the interview get real ugly, real fast. Which means it's awesome.

Darius McCrary tells a completely different story than the one told by Karrine "Supahead" Steffans -- and it's chock full of crazy!

In a restraining order filed against Karrine, Darius says he didn't hit her with his car -- she "jumped on the trunk of my car and then the roof of my car. She started beating my vehicle and windows." It says she then attempted to get into the car by breaking the windows "with her fist."
It doesn't stop there.

Urkel, he's not: "Family Matters" star Darius McCrary is one bad mamma jamma. According to his estranged girlfriend, self-proclaimed "Video Vixen" Karrine Steffans, he assaulted her on several occasions -- the most recent just yesterday when she says he tried to run her over with his car.

Steffans tells TMZ that she's known McCrary, who played Eddie Winslow on the show, for nine years, and lived with him "as husband and wife" for just under a year. In August of 2007, Steffans, whose real name is Karinne Stephens, filed a police report claiming McCrary choked her "til she passed out."

The naughty girl with the "Superhead," Karrine Steffans, was spotted with a ghostly-looking Bill Maher leaving Firefly in Studio City on Tuesday. Politically with a wreck!
Steffans, who was previously linked to Bobby Brown just after his split with Whitney Houston (Hell to the "naw!"), took her time walking to her car and plugged her new book, "Vixen Diaries," allegedly coming out this September. Steffans promised that she'll be dropping more A-list intimate details. Say what?!
She claimed in her last book to have slept with Bobby Brown, Usher and Ja-Rule -- who knows what kiss 'n tell gems the self-proclaimed video vixen/former porn star has in store? Whatever it is, it will undoubtedly be tasteful.

Recent reports have suggested that Karrine Steffans, the self-proclaimed "Video Vixen," may have caused the impending divorce of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. But a source with knowledge of the relationship tells TMZ that it's Brown who has sought out Steffans for moral and financial support: He stays at her L.A. home "frequently" and Karrine actually ponies up for Bobby's pre-paid cell phone.

As TMZ reported earlier, Houston's publicist Nancy Seltzer confirms the Grammy award-winning singer will file for divorce from husband Bobby Brown. The couple has one child, Bobbi Kristina.
Bobby recently talked about asking out Whitney for the first time on "The Tyra Banks Show."
According to the TMZ source, there is in fact no romance between Brown and Steffans, and that outsiders are creating that illusion because of her past, in which she was known as "Supahead" by legions of R&B and hip-hop artists to whom she provided sexual services on the sets of their videos. She wrote a book about her experiences, "Confessions of a Video Vixen," which was a New York Times bestseller.
Steffans recently told the New York Daily News' Lloyd Grove that her relationship with Brown was "a really tricky situation" and called him her "dearest friend," but wouldn't admit to having a physical relationship. During the summer, at a concert Brown gave with fellow '80s artists Bell Biv Devoe and En Vogue at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, Steffans was backstage and in fact took Brown home in her car. Brown had told the audience that he and Whitney were on the rocks and that he needed a "tenderoni" to take home; it appears he found that "tenderoni" in the form of Steffans. Brown and Steffans' encounter that night was caught on tape by a show called "I Married A Baller" on the TV One network.
Ironically enough, Steffans told Grove back in August that she didn't want to "wreck any marriages" and that she was "a big fan" of Whitney's. "I want her to come back and sing her heart out," said Karrine of Whitney.
