Tough times for "American Idol" wannabeen Kat McPhee -- washing her own car... and packin' a new baby?
TMZ cameras caught an extremely pregnant looking Kat outside a Los Angeles home yesterday, showing off a sizable belly as she scrubbed a car. So how the hell did McPhee go from stripping down for a Vegas Magazine shoot to sporting a second trimester bump in less than a month? Just Idol speculation: McPhee's currently filming "House Bunny," a comedy where she plays a pregnant sorority girl.
Her co-star Anna Faris was there as well, showing off some cleavage -- though no preggishness -- while walking around set in a robe and bright pink bathing suit top.

Katharine McPhee parachuted onto the set of her upcoming movie ... and showed a little skin on the way down!
The fallen "Idol" gave snappers a shot of her pink panties and a flesh colored bodysuit on the L.A. set of the upcoming "Untitled Anna Faris Project," after a gust of wind almost sent McPhee into orbit. After the flash, McPhee returned her dress to the local El Torito.

Katharine McPhee turned up to the Hollywood premiere of "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" last night with either a baroquely hideous skin condition or some unfamiliar mystic markings on her left arm and foot.
Wait just a McSecond, now ... looks familiar ... isn't that ... a henna tattoo ... from 1998?! Holy Gwen Stefani! It was all about reaching back for Kat last night on the red carpet; the stunstress rocked a vintage-y, Pucci-esque, quasi-70s creation as well. Here's another red carpet look not enhanced by unfortunate tattooing.

In honor of George Clooney joining Brad Pitt as the only two-time Sexiest Man Alive, we've subtitled this week's all-male revue in similar, hyperbolic fashion. And we can't help but also think of Mel Gibson's immortal words back in 1985 upon being crowned the first such honoree: "That implies there are a lot of dead guys who got more points than I did."
O.J. Simpson ("Scariest Man Alive"): Resurrecting a cold case that even his Naked Gun pals could solve, Number #32 has suddenly decided to tackle third and very long with a most unusual play call – the hypothetical confession (or, it all depends what your definition of "if" is). Crusading dad Ron Goldman has already moved to seize any of the Florida author's personal proceeds from the new book; publisher Judith Regan has tried to justify her actions via a strained I-was-a-victim-too plea on The Drudge Report. But there's no getting around it; if Truman Capote were around today, he'd be readying a much better book about O.J., one that could very easily be called In Bold Blood.

We all saw Meatloaf scare, ahem, I mean surprise Katherine McPhee during the finals of American Idol. Now, Meatloaf is looking to scare the masses with his upcoming Bat Out of Hell III, which is set for release in October.
While Meat Loaf did not work with Bat I and Bat II collaborator, and now courtroom opponent, Jim Steinman on this project, he did bring in some heavy hitters to give Bat III some lift.
To put enough fright into the latest Bat installment, Meat Loaf recruited two monsters of rock: Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue and guitarist John 5, formerly of Marilyn Manson. Both helped write the song "The Monster is Loose" and John 5 even plays on the track. "Coincidentally" the song found its way (all by itself?) onto the internet during the week that the calendar read "6/6/06." We'll leave it to you decide whether this "leak" was the work of a demonically possessed digital file or the magic of marketing slicksters. Either way, the Monster is now loose and available for download on Meat Loaf's website.

Song choice is critical when you're competing on 'American Idol'. Simon, Paula and Randy constantly bash 'Idols' based on their song selections alone. Now, TMZ has the lowdown on how the song selection process works -- and it's more involved than you would think.
