Kathy Hilton has slammed John McCain for his ad featuring her precious daughter Paris -- especially, as we reported, after she and her hubby forked over $4,600 to his campaign.
Kathy told the Huffington Post, "It is a complete waste of the money John McCain's contributors have donated to his campaign. It is a complete waste of the country's time and attention at the very moment when million of people are losing their homes and their jobs. And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next President of the United States."

Kathy Hilton had her 49th birthday party at Orso in L.A. on Friday, but Paris grabbed all the paparazzi attention. She even took off with a present of her own!
While Paris and Nicky were givens at the party, Mama Hilton also celebrated with completely random Vanna White, BFF and O.J. Simpson witness Faye Resnick ... and even Mel Brooks.

Kathy Hilton, unlike her daughter Paris, is hard at work on a celebrity Christmas charity auction for the Make-a-Wish Foundation ... now if she only knew the actual names of the stars helping her out!
TMZ caught Kathy and hotel heir hubby Rick outside of Mr. Chow last night, where she boasted of all the celebs taking part in the Kathy Hilton Wishing Tree event -- but had a little trouble with Leo's last name. Italian can be tricky.

A photog in New York ate pavement when while trying to snap pics of "Whine Up" singer Kat DeLuna. It's always funny when paps fall -- especially when they look like they're 12! Also spotted in NY dayside: Beth O, Kathy Hilton and Tori Spelling with hubby Dean McDermott.
Lisa Marie Presley looked fantastic at the Marc Bauer show that night, while her dour looking daughter, Riley Keogh, stepped out with wannabe rocker Ryan Cabrera. Also out (and looking horrendous) were Victoria Beckham, Courtney Love and Sheryl Crow.

After Ms. Hilton gave her first post-incarceration interview on "Larry King Live" last night, her parents did their own tell-alls right outside the family's Bel Air home.
TMZ caught a chatty Kathy and an eager-to-get-inside Rick last night, arriving separately to the gated mansion which has become a circus of media, fans and paparazzi since Hilton's release from jail. Mama Hilton told our photogs that the first thing Paris did when she got home was play with her dog and scarf down a couple of sandwiches Rick had made especially for her.
A semi-uncomfortable Rick arrived home moments later -- using the help of paparazzi to buzz him through the gate, since he was without an opener -- where he told the snappers that Paris looked "as good as she ever has" when she left jail sans makeup. Father knows best!

Kathy and Rick Hilton have just pulled up to the entrance of Lynwood jail and are waiting for Paris to exit. Sheriffs are clearing the exit.
We're told Paris will walk out alone.

Kathy and Rick Hilton left their home just before 10:00 PM tonight, making their way to Lynwood to pick up their daughter Paris from jail.
A caravan of SUVs left the casa de Hilton and a horde of paparazzi followed them down the street.
Stay tuned all night long as TMZ brings you the latest on Paris' release from jail.
UPDATE (11:35PM PT) -- Kathy and Rick Hilton have arrived at Lynwood jail.

There's no gigantic blowout in the works to celebrate Paris Hilton's release from jail -- at least according to her mom. Sorry, Greasy Bear.
TMZ caught mama Hilton, Kathy, at The Ivy yesterday, where she told our cameras the only thing the family has planned for their jailed daughter is some time at home with the family. "We're just gonna let her decompress, be at home for a while, get the family together" Kathy told TMZ, adding, "she is doing much better."
That million-dollar interview with "Today" must just be part of the "decompressing" process.

Ms. Hilton got a special Father's Day visit from her parents last night, but for some odd reason Rick described this year's holiday as, "not one of my best." Wonder why?
Cameras swarmed Mama and Papa Hilton as they worked their way into Lynwood jail yesterday for a weekend visit with their locked up daughter. Nicky was nowhere in sight as the jail only allows two visitors per session, but she had stopped by on Saturday with boyfriend David Katzenberg.
After spending some quality free time with their daughter, Rick and Kathy told photogs that Paris had made her dad "a beautiful card" while in lockdown, adding that her spirits are positive but she's been cold in her cell. When asked what she does with all her free time Kathy said Paris "just looks at the four walls and reads some nice fan mail."

In a fitting metaphorical celebration of Paris' swift in-and-out of jail this week, someone delivered In-N-Out burgers to La Casa Hilton last night. Nothing says "welcome home" like a big bag of fast food.
As an veritable army of camera crews lined the street outside her home, a huge bouqet of flowers and some Double-Doubles were delivered -- as Hilton's family members, including her parents, sister Nicky, aunt Kyle Richards and lawyer Richard Hutton -- all stopped by to see how the "emotionally distraught and traumatized" former jailbird was doing.
Kathy paused to tell cameras she was "happy to have her home," and aunt Kyle was pissed that the same public outrage wasn't shown for the case of Michelle Rodriguez, who served just 2 hours of her 60-day sentence.

Paris Hilton's parents, Kathy and Rick, showed up at their daughter's West Hollywood home this afternoon and were greeted by a swarm of paparazzi. The beleaguered parents could barely make their way to her front door through the pack of paps!
Meanwhile, famed author Dominick Dunne mulled around outside. He told reporters that he was in town for the Phil Spector trial, but just had to check out the scene at Chateau Hilton. Dunne actually expressed a twinge of regret about Paris leaving jail early, saying, "I think she should have served out the whole thing. I think she could have come out a heroine. Man, I don't know, this sounds like rich kid stuff."
First Don King says Paris is "what America is all about," now Dunne calls her a would-be "heroine." What a day.

TMZ has the lowdown on the latest Paris Hilton drama ... and this time it's medical.
TMZ cameras caught Paris' dad Rick Hilton checking in to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. early this morning for an operation. We're told that he will require a hospital stay between three and five days, but his illness is not life-threatening.
Paris did not accompany her dad to the hospital.
Yesterday, Paris' uber celebrity DUI lawyer, Richard Hutton, arrived at Rick's home to meet with Paris for a long meeting. We're told Paris is in a profoundly (a word we generally don't use with Paris) "somber mood" in the wake of her jail sentence.

Moments after Paris Hilton was sentenced to serve 45 in the clink, TMZ learned that her mother, Kathy, rushed over to the lead prosecutor and lashed out, "I want your autograph. This is pathetic."
In the same breath, as she walked out of the courtroom, Kathy looked up and said, "I can't believe all the money we spent on this."

Paris Hilton celebrated her 26th birthday -- again -- last night with her friends, family and a whole pack of paparazzi.
After rocking out in Vegas last week on her actual birthday, Paris dined with the likes of Nicole Richie, Courtney Love and Paula Abdul at The Prime Grill. The party then moved to Hilton's home, where a decidedly less glamorous crowd gathered to party. "Celebs" in attendance included "90210" turned "Dancing with the Stars" stud Ian Ziering (BTW- that guy is 42 years old, almost twice as old as the birthday babe), "Napoleon Dynamite" sidekick Efren Ramirez, both Greasy and Gummi Bear and one of Hugh Hefner's three girlfriends. Hilton's publicist Elliot Mintz was there as well, showing up with one of the worst-wrapped gifts in birthday history.
One wild fan also showed up, going crazy over Paris' mom Kathy, screaming, "Your daughter's my idol dude!" and "take a picture of me and her" at the Hilton matriarch. Kathy quickly put the Paris-ite in her place though, correcting her grammar like a middle school English teacher.

The eldest Hilton sister and her mother Kathy were both sighted at The Hollywood Museum the other day. Of course, they weren't there trying to soak up anything intellectual, instead they were being honored as 'Idols of Gay Hollywood.'
Since the two were the Grand Marshalls of LA Gay Pride last year, the outfits they wore will be included in an exhibit on the gay pride movement, along with those of other gay icons like Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis, and Joan Crawford.
