We now know how Kelly Ripa maintains her tight, ripped physique -- by fighting companies she claims lie about how she maintains her tight, ripped physique.
Ripa's lawyers just fired off cease and desist letters to a slew of Internet based purveyors of Guarana weight loss products, saying she never agreed to have her name and image splashed all over their ads.
Kelly also claims the Guarana gang screwed customers by allegedly accepting payment -- then refusing to ship the products.
The letters want the companies to remove anything Kelly-related from their ads, websites and blogs.
The documents warn --"failure to do so will serve only to exponentially increase the substantial liability you already face..." That's fancy lawyer speak for, "we'll sue the crap out of you."

Finally, TMZ was there as pop princess Samantha Cole celebrated her birthday, rolling up in absolutely blingerrific style in a Bentley that almost -- but not quite -- upstaged the b-day girl, replete with $4 million in diamond trim.

Rocking some awful posture and equally offensive hair, Mary-Kate Olsen joined Ashley Tisdale, Adam Sandler, Kelly Ripa and Howard Stern for a Billy Joel concert in the Hamptons over the weekend. Joel's wife, Katie Lee, and ex-wife Christie Brinkley -- still drop dead gorgeous at 53 -- were also there to rock out.
While Tisdale was busy listening to the Piano Man, back in the city, her perfectly highlighted "High School Musical" co-star, Zac Efron, was caught doing a little shopping at Urban Outfitters. When asked about rumors that he's dating on-screen girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, all Efron said to TMZ was "Is that the rumor? Crazy!"
Also out in NYC over the weekend: Brooke Shields at the Bridgehampton Polo Club, Jackie Chan at the Four Seasons and Chris Rock, heading into Beyonce's concert at Madison Square Garden.

Let's go crazy -- Prince is in da house! Celebs forked over big bucks to see Prince perform during the Hampton's Social @ Ross concert series on Saturday.
Jon Bon Jovi was one of many who paid thousands of dollars to attend the event -- Jay-Z and a friend were right behind, cheering him on. Chatty Kelly Ripa and super hot hunk hubby Mark Consuelos, and divorcée Christie Brinkley were also among the cash splashy crowd. Kid Rock was also there to welcome his purple tininess.
