No one can get within six degrees of Kevin Bacon ... when it comes to being the nicest celebrity airline passenger in the sky.
The 50-year-old routinely jets first class on United Airlines between NY and LA and an inside source tells us he is the most polite flier ever. We're told Kevin is so courteous he even folds and puts away his blanket every time his flight lands. Do you do that?!
Despite being mugged on the subway and screwed by Bernie Madoff, it's nice to hear Kevs isn't bitter.

A mugger got himself one degree closer to Kevin Bacon -- by jacking his Blackberry in a NY subway station.
It all went down Thursday morning -- Bacon was futzin' around on his BB when some dude allegedly pulled the ol' snatch and grab in the crowded station and took the device right out of his hands, this according to the NY Post. Bacon allegedly tried to chase down the thief, but lost him in the crowd.
This isn't the first time Bacon got screwed over by a New Yorker -- Kevin got burned by that scumbag Bernie Madoff when the whole Ponzi-sceme thing went down.

Sosie attends the same prestigious Manhattan all-girls private school that her mom and several other famous people, including Tea Leoni and Caroline Kennedy, also attended.

Leopard print may be tacky -- but Eva Mendes makes it work.
TMZ spotted the "Ghost Rider" actress rocking the animal print and some heavy duty eye makeup on Saturday night at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere party for "Live!"
Kevin Bacon got an "A" for effort with his ensemble, while Andy Garcia was less fashion-forward with his Benjamin Franklin-inspired appearance seen as he signed autographs outside the "The Air I Breathe" after-party.
Politically correct Tim Robbins and partner Susan Sarandon, and a somewhat cleaned up Fred Durst kept it basic in black outside the "The Education of Charlie Banks" premiere. Fred seemed happy just to be recognized.

The long 4th of July weekend is a great excuse to hit the beach, and this past weekend celebrities took full advantage of the great weather by hitting the sand, taking in some rays and appreciating their independence.
Cameras caught up with the sporty Matt McConaughey jogging down the beach in Malibu, David Spade spending some time with his pooch and Ray Romano splashing around in the waves with his boogie board.
