Eminem is going to court to make his ex-wife shut her trap.
The rapper has filed a motion attempting to prevent Kim Mathers, whom he's married -- and divorced -- twice, from making "derogatory, disparaging, inflammatory, and otherwise negative comments" about him in interviews. He claims that his wife's trash-talking is harming their 11-year-old daughter Hallie, and he will appear in court to discuss the motion on Monday, reports the Detroit News.
Kim Mathers has given a slew of interviews to TV and radio outlets in the last two months, and has slammed her ex-husband in all of them. She's said, amongst other things, that she vomits in her mouth whenever she hears his name, that Slim Shady's not terribly well endowed, that he's a bad father, and that he drove her to attempt suicide.
In the motion to suppress Kim's speech, Eminem says that she must be muzzled to "protect the child from further harm," and to prevent "any further behavior likely to expose the minor child to humiliation and hostility." Lawyers for both sides did not comment.

Cameron Diaz is probably trippin' this President's Day weekend after winning her libel suit against the National Enquirer, which claimed she was seen schmooching during the time of her relationship with Justin Timberlake with a producer of her MTV travel show. Then there's this group of celebs, who are simply basking in the glow of tripping all over themselves.
Tim Hardaway: While this year's NBA All-Stars get ready to do their thing in Vegas, former Miami Heat guard Tim Hardaway warmed things up Wednesday by joining the less illustrious ranks of the Career Suicide All-Stars. The play-by-play for that league sounds something like this: "Gibson inbounds the ball, brings it up to half-court; passes it to over Richards; Isaiah Washington takes it on the three-point line, throws it over to Andy Dick, who backhands to Hardaway in the paint... Slam dunk!" Hardaway quickly switched to the apology playbook, but it was not enough to stop New Jersey hair products outfit BaldGuyz from dropping him as their spokesperson. Forget about a trip to Tim Hardaway's U.S. 1 Car Wash in Miami; this no-longer-welcome-in-Vegas goof needs to drive straight to the nearest pharmacy and stock up on mouth wash.

Kim Mathers, twice divorced from Eminem, admits that his treatment of her led to a suicide attempt.
After going to one of her husband's concerts, Mathers was shocked to see Eminem's public display of hatred toward her and the audience's positive response to it. "He was singing a song that was about me and he had a blow-up doll up on stage that looked like me and he was physically beating it and kicking it," says Kim, "Seeing the crowd response and everybody cheering, singing the words and laughing ... I knew that it was about me, and that night I went home and I tried to commit suicide."
Despite the couple's very public fighting, and even after the alleged suicide attempt, Kim agreed to marry Eminem a second time in January 2006 -- six years after they first divorced. Mathers says Marshall left 41 days later. Her explanation for his misogynistic attitude: Eminem's mother. Is it always the mother-in-law's fault?

Get your barf bags ready, there's a new gross couple alert circulating in Hollywood. Us Weekly reports 53-year-old Jeff Goldblum and 24-year-old Nicole Richie have been spotted together on the town. Ew.

4) Colleen Has Just GOTTA KNOW: What happened to Joss Stone? When is her next album due out? Is there a new album?
Joss Stone's publicists have let TMZ know that while no album should be expected for at least two years, the passionate vocalist is currently putting her pen and pad to work. Having been portrayed as the "white Aretha Franklin," this 19-year-old's next album will no doubt prove to, for the third time around, take us where no Englander has taken us before. For the spotlight on Stone, take a look here.
5) Terrianni Has Just GOTTA KNOW: Why is Paul Walker not in the next Fast and the Furious movie? It won't be the same without him.
Paul Walker will indeed be missed in the latest street racing flick, "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." Lucas Black, of "Friday Night Lights" and "Jarhead," has now taken over the lead. But what TMZ found out is that the "Fast and the Furious" franchise is actually centered around real life drift racing, as opposed to specific characters. And Paul Walker's role as Brian O'Conner in the previous two wasn't solely as a street racer. Now don't let the lack of Paul deter you from this fast-paced film. 6) Savannah Has Just GOTTA KNOW: What's going on with Eminem's marriage?
Eminem's second marriage to Kim Mathers didn't exactly work out the way either of them thought it would. While we can't say specifically what went wrong, we can say that the divorce was filed on Eminem's part due to "a breakdown in the marriage relationship to the extent that the objects of matrimony have been destroyed."
