The rain's rolled out, but the misery is still setting in -- now rappers Ludacris and T.I. are helping their soggy hometown get back on its feet.
TMZ has learned The Ludacris Foundation has partnered up with Home Depot and Sam's Club to help victims of the Atlanta floods -- which City Hall officials say caused $61 million in damages and wrecked nearly 500 homes.
We spoke to a rep for the foundation, who told us Luda and T.I. are donating $10,000 each to the cause.
The Foundation's rep told us they are planning a large food bank and a gift card giveaway that could happen as soon as Friday.

He may be a social pariah everywhere else -- but when Kanye West made a surprise appearance at Common's benefit concert last night in Hollywood, he got a hero's welcome.
The crowd at the show -- which featured Common, Nas, Ludacris, De La Soul, The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and more -- just exploded when Kanye rushed out on stage. He stayed for a few songs -- including "Good Life" and "Run This Town" -- and had the crowd going nuts the whole time.
Kanye was able to perform without interruption.

Ludacris gave a special shout out to all his white fans at club LAX in Vegas last night, because, "If it wasn't for the white people, I wouldn't be selling 2 to 3 million records and sh*t ... I love y'all."
Nothing brings people together like straight cash money.
Turns out that hot chick Kanye West left an L.A. nightclub with Thursday has a thing for rappers ... and for taking off her clothes.
The long stemmed beauty Kanye left the club with that night is a model named Amber Rose, who once danced through Ludacris' "What Them Girls Like" video, a Young Jeezy video and a half-naked photo shoot for Smooth Magazine. Classy!
Maybe Kanye can quit the bitchin' long enough to smell this rose.

Dionne Warwick may be headed back to San Jose sooner than she thinks. Her unofficial inaugural ball has just been canceled because of slumping tickets sales. She couldn't see that coming?
Don't pass it off to age either. Ludacris was hosting a ball as well that got 86'd for the same reason.
We're told the suckers who shelled out money for the events will get refunds in 30 to 45 days.
What we're wondering: Will Dionne get kicked out of the hotel she was bragging about.

It appears that Barack Obama is going to have to distance himself from yet one more supporter.
Ludacris has just released a new rap where he calls Hillary Clinton a "bitch" and says John McCain "don't belong in any chair unless he's paralyzed" and also throws insults at Jesse Jackson and George W. Bush. The only logical explanation has to be that Ludacris is a McCain mole!
Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton issued a statement, condemning Luda for his ridiculous lyrics.

TMZ spotted the odd pair leaving Nobu in Malibu last night, when handsome Ludacris said, "We're not breakin' any laws!" Somebody's a little paranoid!
The "Entourage" star was less chatty, keeping his thoughts to himself when asked to comment on Britney Spears. Is that amusement or annoyance on his face? Jeremy and Luda are actually filming "RocknRolla," a movie set for release in 2008.

He's got hos in different area codes, but only one birthday, and rapper Ludacris is celebrating it in Sin City! Luda celebrated his 30th birthday last night with a celeb-studded party at Rio.
Producer Quincy Jones and actress Gabrielle Union passed birthday wishes, and "Everybody Hates Chris" actress Tichina Arnold serenaded the rapper/actor with a soulful rendition of "Happy Birthday."
Luda's nearest and dearest enjoyed a sit-down rappalicious dinner and watched some of the Atlanta rapper's favorite movies, including "Scarface" and, his own movie, "Crash." He's modest, too!

"King" magazine cover girl Kim Kardasshian -- whose top is starting to match her bottom -- chatted with a TMZ camera about joining the Pussycat Dolls for their upcoming Vegas show.
Also at Area were "That '70s Show" actress Laura Prepon and celebuspawn Brody Jenner, who drove off wearing a Jack Daniels t-shirt. Warning sign?
L.A. restaurant Koi exgorged faux doctor Zach Braff and plumping champ Mike Tyson. Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge held a mini photo shoot following the "Teens Choice Awards" after party at Area -- while a trim Jessica Simpson and horse-toothed Haylie Duff partied at Les Deux.
Brooke Shields hosted a benefit for the Art of Elysium at the French Connection Beach House in Malibu and was spotted playing in the ocean with some happy tots. Also in Malibu: ATL rapper/actor Ludacris.
"Teen Choice" award winner Sophia Bush was spotted leaving Jerry's Famous Deli and says she "has never met" Kevin Federline. Good for her.

Tyra's already conquered the world of fashion, acting and talk show hosting, but can she rap?
Banks tried to prove she can bust a rhyme on her talk show today, performing a rap to Ludacris she wrote when she was 13.
With lyrics like "I'm 5' 9", I look so fine, yes all my fellas are so divine" and "If you and I meet you will not stand, get on your knees and kiss Ty's hand," it's clear her writing could use some work.
Luda, however, was supportive, telling Banks, "you coulda had a career in rap... Bonnie and Clyde all day."

With MTV's Video Music Awards returning to Radio City Music Hall this year, the All-American Rejects are ready to bring something different to a crowd familiar with Diddy's over-the-top antics.
"It's not going to be like last year when Puffy walked out to the center and gave away his watch, remember that?" says Reject frontman Tyson Ritter at a rehearsal for the show, "he was like 'look at me, I have money.'"
Ritter jokes the band may have a few gifts up their sleeves but anyone going to the awards shouldn't be expecting too much bling. "We're going to give away some cubic zirconia, some Swatches maybe, Casio. It's going to be awesome."
The band, who will make their first appearance at the VMAs this year, have also jokingly threatened to start some backstage drama saying, "We're going to get drunk too quick and probably say something to somebody that's really famous ... and really shouldn't."
While Ludacris promised some "big surprises" for his performance at today's rehearsal, we're hoping Ritter and his Rejects dont cut themselves off from the bar too soon. We want fireworks. The Video Music Awards air Thursday night on MTV.
