Mary J. Blige can't get "work"... at least not without paying, according to a new Federal lawsuit.
Ms. Mary is being sued by a company that claims she pilfered their tune and turned it into her latest song, "Work That."
The Drama Family Entertainment company filed the case, claiming one of it's producers created the tune that was used on J.'s album.
Mary J's song is also featured in an iPod commercial.
Drama Family Entertainment wants $2 mil from the J-Bird.

Mary J. Blige and "Clash of the Choirs" star Patti LaBelle won't let the horrors of slaughtering animals get in the way of their seemingly real-looking fur-galicious outfits. Watch out for the red paint, ladies!
The pelted diva duo was snapped at Blige's record release party hosted by Target in Soho on Tuesday, looking like a pair of Siberian huskies. Mush!
There hasn't been this much fur caught on film ... since '70s porn!

The craptabulous photos were mighty tasty this week in the Thirty Mile Zone! Joan Van Ark showed off her "I fell asleep in an ashtray" face, Kiefer Sutherland slipped into an orange one-piece, Aretha Franklin made a curtain call, fallen "Idol" Jessica Sierra finally got clean (sorta), and an identified flying Suri landed in Hyde Park.

Us Weekly threw a bash at Opera last night, hosting hot young actresses like Amanda Bynes, Miley Cyrus, and Nichelle Nichols?! The original "Star Trek" Lieutenant was the talk of the party. As one TMZ insider said, "Uhura stole the show!"
Also at the event was whiney rapper Kanye West, a non-Photoshopped Kathy Griffin, vampire slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar, and leather jacket-obsessed James Blunt. Chicken dancer Bai Ling clucked around, and R&B queen Mary J. Blige looked fierce in all white.
But the evening belonged to 74-year-old Nichelle Nichols -- who boldly stole the show.

Reigning backend beauty queen Kim Kardassian stopped for a daytime treat at Dylan's Candy Bar in Manhattan, but only her ice cream was cold as she sent a warm message to Lindsay Lohan -- while literally stopping traffic in a busy New york intersection to hit the perfect exit pose. Honk if you love that honkin' booty!
Frumpy film star Kirsten Dunst was spotted entering the Soho Grand Hotel to prep for filming on her upcoming movie, "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People." Kiki looked as radiant as, well, a radiator. Someone needs to get that girl a drink! Tan and tonic, anyone?
Also in New York, Amanda Bynes -- who looked absolutely dee-lish in a leggy black dress at the launch of her clothing line -- and Maria Menounos, who popped in to check out Amanda's designer duds. Amanda's clothing line debuts in September.
Across country in L.A., Miss Mary J. Blige did some shopping at Barneys, the Sisters Hilton hit up a party at Les Deux. Audrina celebrated the new season of "The Hills" at Hyde, and Will Smith took a break from filming to pose for photos with fans.

Looking more like Diddy's event planner for his yearly "white party," Mary J. Blige recently graced the cover of Hampton's magazine. Holla!
The religious Blige, who was born and raised in Yonkers, NY, has come a long way in her spiritual journey -- to the Hamptons. The multi-Grammy-winning diva is currently on tour, but Miss Thing won't be performing in the hoity-toity Hamptons. God bless her! Instead, Blige will be making a pilgrimage to the San Manuel Indian Gaming Casino -- sinless!
The casino is located in the sizzling 909, in glamorous San Bernardino County, Calif. The performance is totally sold out! Praise God! Sinners like them some R&B!
