Katherine Jackson says she's going to the MJ tribute concert in Vienna on the 29th -- only problem, the show's on the 26th.
As TMZ first reported, the family isn't happy about the show and nobody except Jermaine was planning on attending -- but now it looks like Katherine drank the Kool-Aid and will go, granted someone tells her the correct date.
We'll see if she actually makes it ...

Another one down -- Mary J. Blige is the second big performer to deny being involved in Jermaine Jackson's Vienna tribute concert for Michael.
Jermaine claimed Mary was on board for the concert during a press conference yesterday -- but when we saw Mary and her husband/manager out last night in NYC, they had no idea what we were talking about.
Chris Brown -- who J.J. also claimed was going to perform -- has also denied being involved in event.

Mary J. Blige was annoyed the pappers were shooting her -- as she shopped on Robertson Blvd. -- aka Pap Central.
Also in L.A.: A sigh of relief as Heidi and Spencer left the city at LAX, Kevin Connolly made sure we weren't part of the McConaughey beach brawl, Bridget Marquardt stuck up for Karolina Kurkova and Kim K, John Legend, Cee-Lo and will.i.am picked sides in the Kobe/Shaq war.
In NY: Demi Moore looked flawless, James McAvoy talked about smooching Angelina, Gwyneth gave face and Will Smith was charming as ever.

Mary J. Blige was getting her physical fitness on with her husband last week in Miami. Don't most ladies stop the workout after landing the hubby?!
Mary looks like that exercise weight might be a bit too much for her -- the next thing she's gonna be working out is a hernia if she's not careful!

The place to be in New York this weekend wasn't Butter or Marquee or Tenjune -- it was the brand new Apple store on West 14th Street. For the love of Jobs!
The new Mac emporium opened Friday night, and celeb shoppers snatching up the latest iPod toys included TMZ fan Whoopi Goldberg, "Sex and the City" hunk Jason Lewis, fan-favorite Mary J. Blige, "CSI" hottie Melina Kanakaredes and Oliver Platt.
Fresh copping a plea in her DUI case, Vivica A. Fox was also geeking out in NY, spotted leaving a Dell store in midtown -- though she wasn't too talkative. And for once, we spotted Ice-T and his usually spanktacular wife Coco, not talking about her booty.

Blonde bombshell Mary J. Blige was spotted leaving her hotel in NYC on Wednesday, sporting some seriously high-priced 'cessories!
With her diva shades, luxurious Vuitton scarf, fur coat, oversized leather bag and matching cowhide lunar boots, Mary Jane Blige was looking just fine, thank you very much!
No more drama for Miss Mary -- just plenty of dollars!

Looks like some celebs still aren't hiding from wearing a dead animal -- in the name of fashion.
Even as the anti-fur movement gets more vociferous, TMZ -- in just one weekend -- spotted Britney Spears, Liza Minnelli, Eve, Mary J. Blige, Sharon Stone and even Madonna fur-nished with all manner of fur-ish coats. We're told that Britney proudly took her shagerrific (and very real fur) coat at her birthday party in Bel Air.
PETA, as ever, took Liza to task for her outerwear, telling TMZ in a statement that it "hopes that Liza, who abstained from fur for years, gets back on the wagon of compassion." As for Sharon Stone, the anti-fur brigade was less charitable, saying, "Put your fur coat away, Sharon."
Reps for Eve, Sharon Stone, Liza and Madonna haven't yet gotten back to us about the provenance of their clients' coats.
One notable exception -- Sarah Jessica Parker, wearing a lovely Star Wars-esque fur coat, usually, we're told, wears fake fur.

Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, even Robin Thicke -- all people who make sense at a BET after party. Larry Birkhead, not so much.
Anna Nicole's baby daddy was caught by TMZ cameras trying to sneak out of Teddy's last night, peeking his head out the front door a few times before making a less-than-stealthy exit.
Other celebs spotted after the awards show were Cedric the Entertainer, the always enormous Suge Knight, Flavor Flav -- who was quieter than usual as he waited for his pizza at Greco's -- Eve, Mary J. Blige and a giggly Kendra Wilkinson.
Il Sole was busy with the non-BET crowd last night, with a friendly Ryan Seacrest, escape artist Charlize Theron and a bulking up Brandon Routh all stopping in for some Italian, while a cautious Jennifer Tilly opted for sushi-house Koi.

With a guest list including Chris Rock, Chris Tucker and Anthony Anderson, Mary J. Blige's birthday party was a who's who of comedy.
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul celebrated her 36th birthday at Mr. Chow last night with hubby Kendu Isaacs by her side. While she was all smiles, she left a few autograph seekers cold, saying, "Ooh, I don't sign white paper, honey, sorry, and I don't sign money."
Miss Thing has her ways.

Mary J. Blige is back in the UK charts at number 19, thanks to a duet with U2.
Their new version of the U2 hit 'One' appears on Blige's current album, 'The Breakthrough.' Here in the States, the album reached the top spot on the Billboard 200 and has just gone double platinum.

While millions of people watch New Year's Eve celebrations on TV, an intriguing competition will be going on behind the scenes, as many celebrities battle it out to have the hottest New Year's Eve party of the year.
In the ring: Sister against sister, and ex-lovers against ex-lovers. Even D-List reality stars have jumped into the fray, as many of them host their own New Year's Eve parties. Who will win? TMZ sizes up the competition and predicts who will emerge the winner.
Mariah Carey vs. Maroon 5's Adam Levine, New YorkNew York City has the world famous Times Square ball drop, and now the Big Apple hosts a showdown between two music stars with competing par-tays. Carey will throw a bash at Cipriani in midtown Manhattan, with ticket prices starting at $200. The party will be hosted by the ubiquitous Ryan Seacrest; he and Carey will presumably head to the event after they appear on ABC's New Year's Eve telecast. (Cipriani says that Carey and Seacrest will show up at the blowout around 3 AM) Meanwhile, Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine, who will be on MTV's New Year's Eve show, will host his own party at the luxurious Skylight Studios in the Village, complete with outdoor swimming pool, with a minimum $150 admission price.
TMZ's winner pick: No contest. Carey's party will be the biggest celebrity magnet in the Big Apple.
Paris vs. Nicky, Las Vegas
The notorious Hilton sisters usually throw parties together. But this year, Paris and Nicky will both host competing New Year's Eve bashes in Las Vegas: Paris at Tao in the Venetian Hotel, while younger sis Nicky, along with her boyfriend, 'Entourage' star Kevin Connolly, will hold court at Pure at Caesars Palace in a winter wonderland-themed event. Both parties will feature views of fireworks displays and the hosts doing the midnight countdown.
But there are some major differences. Nicky's party is a black-tie event with a ticket price of $499. Paris' party is more accessible (at a ticket price of $200) and doesn't require formal wear. At the stroke-of-midnight, Nicky and her beau will open a bottle of Cristal champagne worth a reported $100,000. At midnight during Paris' party, 2006 pink balloons will drop and a snow machine will turn the place into a winter wonderland.
TMZ's winner pick: Paris is the bigger celebrity, so it's a no-brainer that her party will likely have more star power. Paris is also more likely to take off some of her clothes and do something wild at the party, which would also motivate people to be there. The bottom line: Paris' party sounds like a lot more fun.
Lindsay vs. Wilmer, Miami
Lindsay Lohan and Wilmer Valderrama's breakup is rumored to have caused hard feelings between the two, especially since Valderrama went on to date Lohan's friend, Ashlee Simpson. Now the two former lovebirds will be competing in a Miami showdown of New Year's Eve parties.
Lohan's bash at the indoor/outdoor club Prive/Opium will feature several DJs (including Samantha Ronson and DJ Irie), and will have a minimum admission price of $150 to $200 per person. Valderrama's party at Mansion will have DJ AM (aka, Nicole Richie's ex) and a live performance from trendy rock band the Bravery. The cost of admission to Valderrama's bash starts at $225.
TMZ's winner pick: Although Valderrama's party will have better music, Lohan's event will draw the cooler crowd. We're betting that a lot more of the beautiful people would rather see Lohan up close than Valderrama, and Prive is a much nicer space.
Pamela vs. Kid Rock
Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock were once engaged, and they've definitely gone their separate ways when it comes to what they're doing this New Year's Eve. Anderson will be in Los Angeles to host a party dubbed "Gridlock" on the Paramount Studios back lot. The Pussycat Dolls will perform, and the minimum admission price is $125. Kid Rock will DJ at the new Vegas nightclub Jet in the Mirage Hotel, with admission prices starting at $200.
TMZ's winner pick: Anderson's party will draw a hotter crowd since Kid Rock's party will have so much more competition in Vegas. Having a party on a movie-studio back lot is much more unique than just another hotel. And a lot of partygoers may not admit it, but a big appeal of Anderson's party is to see what she's wearing...or not wearing.
Reality Stars vs. Reality Stars
For anyone who wants to party with reality stars of dubious fame, there's no shortage of New Year's Eve choices. In New York City, Brittny Gastineau of 'Gastineau Girls' will host a bash at Nest, with tickets going for a minimum $50. Also in the Big Apple, Wes Bergmann and Johanna Botta of 'The Real World: Austin' will host a party at the sci-fi-themed restaurant Mars 2112; ticket prices start at $145. And from the first season of 'The Real World: New York,' Eric Nies will preside over a bash at Sequoia, with the cost of admission starting at $125.
Meanwhile, in Miami, a minimum $60 ticket price will get someone into a party at Crobar hosted by 'America's Next Top Model' first-season winner Adrianne Curry and her fiancé, Christopher Knight, who both starred in their own reality show, 'My Fair Brady.'
TMZ's winner pick: None. Why party with reality stars when these cities will be packed with bigger celebrities at relatively accessible bashes?
