As the highly anticipated third season of "Lost" gets ready to kick off next week, TMZ has some photos from the set that could reveal one of the show's most closely guarded secrets.
At one of the show's Hawaiian shooting locations, Dominic Monaghan was spotted carrying a seemingly injured Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje into some kind of shelter, along with another unidentifiable character. Does this mean that Mr. Eko survived the mysterious hatch explosion at the end of season two? Guess we'll just have to watch and find out!
Meanwhile, resident island doc Matthew Fox is still finding ways to improve his famous physique. The athletic actor was spotted taking a pretty intense run in a slim fit outfit near the Oahu set. Don't miss the castaway's long-awaited return to primetime when Matt and his pals get "Lost" again this Wednesday on ABC.

Another week, another little "Lost" tidbit for you to decipher.
Cameras caught Matthew Fox in Hawaii yesterday filming a scene for the show's third season. In it, Fox's character, Dr. Jack Shephard, comes running to the aid of a child in a playground. Fox can be scene performing what looks like the Heimlich maneuver.
Because everything happens for a reason on "Lost," we have to ask -- who is the kid? More importantly, who is the mom? What is Jack doing at a playground? Why isn't it October 4 yet???? Okay, we're fine now.
All these questions will be answered in due time, perhaps on October 4 at 9PM ET/PT, when season three of "Lost" premieres.

If you're like us, you can't wait until "Lost" returns -- October 4, if you haven't already marked your calendar. And if you are as addicted to the show as we are, you'll take whatever info you can get -- even if it's only 10 seconds long.
Cameras spotted Matthew Fox, who plays Dr. Jack Shephard on the show, in Hawaii where he's currently filming the third season of the hit show. You'll notice Fox is dressed in hospital scrubs -- so he's probably filming a flashback scene. He was headed back to his trailer after shooting a scene in a medical center on the island.
The show has wrapped up most of Fox's character's back story -- we saw what drove his dad to drink and why his wife left him -- so maybe these flashback scenes will raise some new questions. Personally, we're curious who Jack's wife left him for -- Desmond, perhaps?
