2 Legit 2 Just Give Up Already

Remember that time you were sitting around with your friends saying, "Wouldn't it be really cool if MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice staged a comeback concert in Utah?" Of course you don't -- because no one has ever thought that.

MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice

But alas, it's happening! The '90s has-beens are headlining an event at the McKay Event Center in beautiful Orem, Utah. Orem, whose population is 90% white, is often referred to as "Family City USA." And how!

The gig goes down February 27 and tickets range from $29.50 - $35.00 (which includes a $3.00 parking fee). All of Hammer and Ice's proceeds will go toward rent.

Villa Valet Screws Over Jeremy Piven

After signing a ton of autographs outside of Villa, Jeremy Piven walked to the safety of his Range Rover -- only the valet brought the wrong car! Opting not to wait with the snapping paps, Jeremy retreated into the club.

Also out in L.A.: Suri's parents at Cut, Lindsay Lohan at another traffic school class, Brady Anderson at Hyde and MC Hammer -- who was rooting for the Oakland Raiders to win the Super Bowl. Good luck with that bet! You can call this what you want ... we call it Star Catcher.

Here Comes the Hammer!

It was 1990 all over again last night outside of Hyde in Hollywood as our cameras caught the legendary MC Hammer.

Decked out in a hooded fur coat, Hammer was a bit of a walking contradiction. First, when one onlooker noticed his cigar wasn't lit, he offered Hammer a light ... but Hammer said he didn't smoke.

Then, when asked about his upcoming projects, Hammer said he didn't like self-promotion. In the next sentence, he proceeded to talk about his movie at Sundance, his next album in April and the video he's shooting for the song "Bring Our Brothers Home." He even performed part of the song as he waited for his limo!

Hammer isn't too legit to self-promote.

K-Fed Joins the Ranks of MC Hammer and Fabio

Kevin FederlineAlthough you won't be seeing Britney's face during the Super Bowl halftime show, her soon to be ex-husband Kevin Federline is set to star in his own commercial.

Nationwide Insurance has hired Federline to star in one of their ads, set to run during some of the most expensive airtime on television. Although we're not exactly sure what talent (and we use the term loosely) K-Fed is going to be showcasing -- but if his commercial is anything like past spokespersons, such as Fabio or MC Hammer -- Kevin will definitely be making fun of himself.

The company's motto "Life comes at you fast" leaves endless ironically satirical plots as possibilities. With Kev and Brit's recent split and custody/financial battle still in the making, it's good to see Federline being proactive and working straight through the last of his fifteen minutes. Someone's got to pay for that apartment in the valley.

Hammer: Too Legit To Quit

MC Hammer proves that nothing will get him down. With a new album on the way- out July 4th- and a video already in the can, the promotional process is in full force.

HammerHammer has spent the better part of the past twenty some years on the road of discovery. He discovered hits (U Can't Touch This, 2 Legit 2 Quit), trends (you know you loved Hammer pants), and money (with a penchant on spending it), but the one thing Hammer never forgot was how to dance.

Check out Jon Kelley's complete interview with MC Hammer Thursday on EXTRA. Check your local listings.
