Lindsay Lohan needs to choose her friends ... and her clubs more carefully, cause she just got thrown under the rehab bus.
Lindsay spent what she thought would be a private evening this weekend at Prive nightclub at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Vegas --until the club fired off a gratuitous press release, allegedly exposing her relapse.
In the release, the club buried this item -- "Mel [B] was drinking Merlot and Lindsay asked for a Vodka drink mixed with soda water and a splash of cranberry."
It squarely contradicts Lindsay's outburst last week, when she said "I don't drink...a**hole."
With friends -- and clubs -- like this ...

Celebrating their first Labor Day together, Mel B. and her pseudo-Belafonte hubby chatted with our camera as they strutted into Il Sole in Hollywood.
Mel B., who just five months ago had baby Iris Angel Murphy Brown, showed off her Coke-bottle shape as she sashayed into the restaurant. Somebody has been working it out! Lunges do a body good!
As cameras filmed the infatuated pair, photogs commented that Spice looks great and Stephen doesn't look half bad either -- to which she responded, "He's gorgeous!"
Beauty is clearly in the eyes of the rose colored glasses wearing beholder.

Britney let the world look up her skirt again, but his time, she kept her privates private. At her 25th birthday party, Britney shook her barely covered butt in front of a glass window, showing everyone that she does own panties afterall.
The day after Eddie Murphy's rep denied that his client made comments on a Dutch show questioning the paternity of Scary Spice's unborn child, TMZ obtained the footage showing Eddie doing just that. Maybe the rep figured our phones couldn't call internationally.
"Dodgeball" star Rip Torn's arrest in North Salem, New York wasn't his first run-in with police. In January 2004, Torn was arrested in New York City after crashing into a taxi. Check out his videotaped rant.

Former Spice Girl and current potential Eddie Murphy baby mama, Melanie B., set off a photog fight in Beverly Hills.
After eating at Mr. Chow, the stacked singer became trapped in the middle of a turf war between two rival paparazzi. As the two men aggressively confronted each other, Mel's handler started yelling, "Get her inside!" An X17 photographer lashed back, "You in my hood!"
A scared Scary Spice retreated into Mr. Chow and emerged only after the fight had died down. Though she looked calm during her second exit, it was clear that Mel wanted to get the heck out of there, telling her driver, "Let's go, let's go!"
